I use McAfee + Windows Defender

Avast Antivirus + Malwarebytes works great for me.
avast is free and works well.
Free anti virus can't handle heavy virus
I prefer Kaspersky since their offer high quality of anti virus system although it consume much RAM
Bitdefender is really good!
I used Kaspersky and got a Virus and it fucked up my computer. Will never use them again.

I use Avast because its the best free one available.
imo kaspersky and bitdefender are best choices, offcourse using an antivirus will slowdown your system a bit but it will also protect you from stealer,virus malwares
Norton is still one of the best i think.
Free AVG, like it the most but also hate it the most for what AVG did to my google chrome.
use ESET Smart sec. - very good

in my notebook i didn't set a Antivirus, but until now i write this post my notebook still safe from virus
