In terms of a platform for ICO at Etherium competitors in my opinion no. 90% of new tokens are issued on the platform of ERC-20. That already says a lot... While far from the rest of Etherium
Other competitors such as NEO, EOS, Waves, and IOST have very promising features and technology too. However, it is up to question whenever they will become successful in the mainstream world or not. AFAIK, EOS and Cardano have better chances of rivaling Ethereum than other platforms due to their dedicated development teams and strong foundation. NEO, on the other hand, is good but backed by China which poses a risk for centralization and manipulation. EOS is partly centralized, although it could change over time as it improves every step of the way.
Need to sell a crypto now?
Is hard to say. Everybody in this Forum say that EOS could be better but I'll wait for EOS to get their problems under control.

for me EOS is the best athereum competitors
ADA and IOTA is great, but EOS is more promissing project in my opinion
For now they have some possible competitors of ethereum. But we don't what coin is it but for sure we will know it because that coin will grow like ethereum from very low price to high price. But for now the coin that I know is most potential is ether.
Cardano is the best competitor to ethereum. Developing team made a great project and it will have good perspectives in the future

Bitcoin is given to be its rival in the market but Ripple seems to be another one. Ripple have made a huge history from replacing it for being the 2nd topmost crypto next to Bitcoin recently. Even if it only lasted for weeks, still, it is something Ethereum to be threatened with. But since recovery still is not present , it would be hard to make long term assumptions. (I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,

if in my opinion, the one who can be the challenger to Etherium for now is Ripple, because during this time I monitored Ripple has a very good development. and now the price of Ripple can rival the price of Etherium.

not really understand eth competitors here because in my opinion the current price of coin coin is still below the price of btc (that's when the btc price is still stable)
yes, hopefully the current price of coin coin is good and does not experience price declines because it also encourages investors
There are alot of competitor of ETH in the market but all of them still not possible to replace ETH. In my opinion the best competitor of ETH is ADA and NEO. Both project has strong team member and in the future can be possible to become next Ethereum.

I agree that NEO was one of the biggest contender for ETH but not for bitcoin since their intended usage differs from each other. I would also say that waves is one more contender to Ethereum not in terms of price but in terms of creating tokens. All that is needed to create a token using it are 1 waves and of course a little to no knowledge to programming. They are friendly for companies that wanted to create their own crypto without programmers of their own.

neo and eos are the closest big threat to the falling ethereum. It seems ethereum is in the verge of disappearing. Its really sad to see ethereum at this moment

The simple answer is there is not one. NEO and EOS have been touted as competitors but NEO has failed to take any serious level of market share among ICO's and even with a giant war chest EOS is not really making any inroads either. Ethereum is the undisputed king of ICO's and once we get through this bear market it will rise again.
I think that the main token which should Eth holders a bit worried is EOS. if they do what they say they can then it might just destroy the dominance which Ethereum has in the smart contract platform.
Ok if you have to choose a competitor against ethereum then it depends which based you have to take. If you say as marketcap basic then I will say xrp is best option and it's already giving a hard competition to eth. And the 2 nd option would be eos for me in next few months. And of the competition is based on the project then I would say NEO is doing good. Eos would be one of the best competitor in next few months. Cardano if it's ready in upcoming months. I thing eth maybe going down but still it has a very good popularity and trust score among all of us. So it's hard for just anycoin to compete eth. They have to reach the popularity and trust of people and a good project to go there and compete.
There are alot of competitor of ETH in the market but all of them still not possible to replace ETH. In my opinion the best competitor of ETH is ADA and NEO. Both project has strong team member and in the future can be possible to become next Ethereum.
