How can you talk about ICOs? They are dead sine autumn 2018. Even STO don't work anymore, as I understand. IEO is a trend so you should plan Initial Exchange Offering which requires another kind of marketing etc.

You can visit sites like icodrop, ico bench and others, but some people say icobench is inaccurate, they will make good reviews on projects that pay them.
so it's better to visit icodrop, because good projects are always on their list.
These sites are merely aggregators providing exclusively fact-finding information. In addition, some of them, as you already noticed, have inaccuracies and are able to place scammers on their site.
In any case, a fundraising method called ICO has become obsolete last year, at the very beginning. Release and move on. There are now significantly safer methods for investment.

The ICO era has passed, and what is currently attracting the market is IEO. Many of the members above suggested joining IEO in trusted global exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, Okex, etc. who have provided evidence that some of the IEO projects held there achieved success. Never think about joining IEO on a less trusted exchange, the risk is great. Especially if you join ICO, if the project is not really legit then you should stay away.

Ico and IEO are dead ends atleast for now. Only something really revolutionary new tech will get traction from ICO. The IcO scamming and bad project offerings have faded away thanks to the great almighty bear market!

I am looking forward for SECURITY TOKEN OFFERING STO market maturity.
They still can't see that fact that IEO and ICO market is totally dry and dying as soon as possible. With the STO, I think it will just do the same unless it's being supported for at least 2-5 years then we can say that it's going better.
But as soon as it's not yet matured, we can have a thought that its fate will be as the same as the first two.

ICO fundraising can't be hold outside the project website so there is no best place to hold ICO, it sounds like you are talking about IEO which we all know that exchanges are the only thing standing between investors and the project, the best places to hold IEO are too exchanges, they have better investors overall

What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?
for now the ICO I think is very risky to follow why I say so, because in 2019 there was an IEO trend which replaced ICO but IEO is also now unclear. If you want to hold coins for long-term investment choose a clear coin and  it's been a long time

What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?

In my opinion, the best place for selling new tokens is through exchangers, especially exchangers who already have a reputation for investors. Many investors still feel that ICO is not a safe place to invest because of the many scams that have occurred in recent years
It is true that we see that many ICO projects end in failure and some of them have no value when they enter into exchange. And sometimes developers enter their tokens into bad exchanges or it can be said that exchanges that don't have a good reputation will certainly end up with no value and holding the tokens will only end in vain.

when they put the token at the exchange place with a bad reputation they already work together the CEO will not provide support to the price of the token and the cost is very cheap with very easy requirements whereas if you want to register at a large exchange place like Binance or others requires a fee very expensive and difficult requirements.

Projects that carry out IEO on exchangers that do not have large liquidity mostly perform poorly when first listing. In my opinion, if we as investors, currently the ones who profitable in terms of IEO are Binance or Okex, but the exchanger does not do IEO too often because of the strict verification of projects.

MEW wallet is a standart variant for this purpose
If you want to use a wallet to hold the initial coin offer, not only MEW wallet can be used by everyone,
but other wallet can also be like a wallet wallet, Imtoken and others.

I think people can hold their tokens in the exchanges which offer the IEO because we know that Binance, KuCoin, Bittrex can be a good place to hold the tokens or coins. If we still hold the tokens in that exchange, I think we don't have to be worry because the exchange will protect their exchange from the attacker or hacker that will try to steal the tokens or coins. But you can also search the other wallet that is recommended by the project so you can save it by yourself. But you might miss the time to sell the coins, especially if the trade for that token starts.

I think the best question to put up is ICO still preferable and will investors still go for ICO if a good project is presented, that way you will have an idea if it's worth holding an ICO or you just wasting your time, because no investors are coming in to invest because they knew ICO is already dead.

Join IEO on the mentioned exchanges.

Binance
Gate.IO
Kucoin
Houbi
Okex
Bittrex

Nothing follows..

Others have also in some mid range exchange but dont trust them as most of them have been swayed just ti conduct an IEO project. In short only pure business.

Usually these places are the best one and very securing to hold a crowd funding. This IEO which is not so different from ICO is now trusted more than typical ICO. I suggest you avoid those ICO platform now cause most of them are just scam.

Your question reminds me of the KICKICO platform, but it seems that it has not launched an ICO for a long time, which proves that the ICO does not receive the attention of the people, currently the IEO on a given Change is the preferred form.

And are there many advanced hardwallets you are aware of? Cause talking about me, I wouldn't say that there are some unqiue ones, even though market is overcrowded with many abstract solutions

Well, the most advanced one these days is GetHashWallet. Team is basically offering secured and private hardware wallet. The wallet is non-programmable, so no worries here, and easy to use. What I also really love - the product is going for arrow certification and guys are about to hold fundraising campaign on Indiegogo. Of course, I also recommend you to have a closer look, pretty sure that you will be impressed
Gethashwallet? I have never heard of this hardware wallet.
Listen.
The best hardware wallets can be found on: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5&platform=hardware
The 3 leading known hardware wallets that are competing today are.
  • Ledger
  • Trezor
  • Keepkey

There are very rare cases of ICOs as of now. All the ICOs are being held on project's own platform.
I think the question should be about where to hold Initial Exchange offerings, IEOs.
Of course, the first name will be Binance. Then Kucoin, p2pb2b, latoken and so on. There are many good exchanges out there that are trustworthy and can successfully conduct IEOs.

The best way is to own the private key from your tokens, that means if the ICOs are ERC-20 tokens, then send them all to one ethereum wallet, you will reduce the risk of loosing them all when exchange exit scam or delist the tokens.

IEO or ICO is dead not to mention where to hold them.
Not yet, what about some IEOs and icos were running in some major exchange sites. These projects are still getting a huge demand and look at how wazirx has made more than 5x for the early investors and buyers.
You should visit the IEO platform again to know the truth about that but only a trusted project can raise the funds.
