A manager can easily detect fraud if he's long in the industry while the investors, they are the ones that are at risk because they can hardly find what's legit and not. And this applies to the aspiring investors that only wants to make money from these ICOs.
Well, I don't think it's no longer important because the ICO industry is dying.

What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?

We are already in 2020, where Ico is no longer the order of the day. So, if you are looking at investing in any project that is conducting ICO, I would advise you to look for an alternative. IEO would have also been the best, but it has its own lapses. There are scam IEOs too, held on scam exchanges. You might want to consider investing in IEO that are preferably held on big exchanges or simply invest in the top cryptocurrencies. At least, wit that you will rest assured that you are not giving out your fund to scammers.

ICOs are means of raising funds for crypto projects. due to incessant increase of scams and Non-regulation of crypto business, investors were scared of participating. Exchanges took over and introduces IEO. This has proved to be a reliable source to hold and engage in coin offering. Recently, some exchanges that are not trusted still organise IEOs for projects. it is left for the investor to make his research on what echange to join for IEOs. the most reliable exchanges that offers IEO are binance, okex, gate.io and few top teir exchanges.

What actually happened, do you think holding an ICO project should have a safe place so investors avoid fraud or other risks? The place is not a problem because scammers are everywhere so what should be considered and realized is about knowledge, because with good knowledge held by each investor it will have a good impact in order to avoid any fraud that might occur, because of the risk in whatever things are at least always there so be careful.
It depends on how investors will apply their understanding to keep their funds away from scams because as an investor it is our responsibility to ensure that we're handling our investment properly. Knowledge is an important tool that will guide you on distinguishing which ICO project is beneficial but with the reputation of ICO, you should be vigilant before making any decisions and check every information.

i would say unless the project in question is ready to seek a renowned escrow service to hold the funds of the sale for transparency and trust from investors, although people no longer trust in ico because of so many scam projects that fooled investor and take their money,
ieo has taken over that spot, not that they have been excellent on this part but it has help to reduce the rate of scam project in the space.

There are no ICO's nowadays, all of them are already dead.

Even if you can find the best place to hold an ICO, I don't think that it will become successful since there is no investors are willing to invest in that coin offering anymore. The success of ICO's is long gone. After it gains a high demand, scammers also create their own ICO since they find it as an easy way to collect money from other people.
I also suggest moving on. it is very difficult to choose an ICO scam project or not, even now I have rarely seen ICO development anymore. if you want to buy coins early, maybe the best place is to choose IEO. it would be better if you chose IEO in a popular market, and it's confirmed. it allows greater to far from the scammer, and get profit.

But why ICOs when it is clear they are no more in fashion or will I say dead, when was the last time a project did ICO? That shows it is no longer working but IEOs now are leading. In my opinion, IEO wil be better as investors will have a sense of funds security unlike in ICOs where the team can do whatever they like. Also, in addition to this, the exchange which will be used should be a good one might not necessarily be top exchanges (maybe for fear of fee, although they have their own benefits) but any reliable exchange would be okay, in this way you have tackled any form of fraud which investors might be weary of.

ICO has several problem any one can run ICO. In 2019 this base was gone to IEO and there Binance exchange is the best. New process is applied by IMO ecosystem. From IMO ecosystem or wallet you can make your investment in new projects. Although for some reason I don't trust IMO ecosystem.

Sometimes it seems to me that people who ask about ICO were frozen for several years and now woke up from hibernation. What you are asking does not exist.
There is no platform on which ICO would be located and conducted, what you are talking about is called IEO. Exchanges conduct ICO on their platforms, this is called its IEO.

It’s the same thing, only the exchange platform acts as a guarantee of security for investors. There are no guarantees that you will receive a profit, but more often than not, you will receive your coins.
How much they will cost is another question.

Did you mean ICO? Then I don't know there is any good place available for it. But if you mean the IEO where both the investors and project owners will get profit then I must say it's the Binance, OKEx, Kucoin and Huobi is the best place to do it! No one is interested in ICO anymore, so IEO is a better option, still!

Are you talking about the tokens you would be taking? I guess the best place would be your wallet. Store it in a wallet in which only you have access to the private keys of the wallet. I have seen people holding tokens in exchanges too (since managing wallets become a hassle for them) but I would never recommend it. The exchange might get hacked anytime soon.
If you are talking about holding all the tokens that are to be distributed, then I guess a very trusted well known escrow would be the best. But will the escrow be willing to take the risk?
I think if it's still in the form of a token then the safest place to store the assets might be to use a wallet like myetherwallet because if you store it at the exchange then it is very risky when the place of exchange is collapsed or not scam then you will immediately lose your assets.

Binance would have been the best but it's not easy getting listed there because of cost and stiff competition and the nature of your project too. Kucoin is another good exchange, I don't know about their policies though.

If you mean IEO then there are numerous places you launch IEO depending on some factors such as the cost of launching an IEO, novelty of the project. The best is binance but it is capital intensive and your project must be solid without any hidden details or trying to be anonymous by faking your identity. Anyway, the chances of getting listed on binance is very slim even if you have the money. Livecoin is another good place to launch IEO although recently, they stop accepting IEO. Others include STEX and KUCOIN. most of these exchange have a large amount of traders and your token can be sold out within a few days so you may not need external promotion or affiliated marketing.

Well, the most advanced one these days is GetHashWallet. Team is basically offering secured and private hardware wallet. The devive is non-programmable, so no worries here, and easy to use. What I also really love - the product is arrow certified and guys hold fundraising campaign on Indiegogo. And it is already available for sale. Of course, recommend you to have a closer look, pretty sure that you will be impressed

Hmm, definitely sounds very attractive. Let me have a closer look on the product. Thank you for your recommendation

And are there many advanced hardwallets you are aware of? Cause talking about me, I wouldn't say that there are some unqiue ones, even though market is overcrowded with abstract solutions

Well, I would say that the most rational approach is comparing storing right on exchanges with storing on hardwallets. And what I have noticed - the demand on hardwallets is growing

This is true and I have also noticed more situations, when different people think more on where to store the funds. And what exactly do you mean by other ways?
