What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?

In my opinion, the best place for selling new tokens is through exchangers, especially exchangers who already have a reputation for investors. Many investors still feel that ICO is not a safe place to invest because of the many scams that have occurred in recent years

If I’m talking about a product before it is released, then I think it’s better not to buy it. Because almost all coins lose their value after entering the market. So it is better to wait for the end of IEO and ICO and buy already on exchanges that have established themselves. Top 10 is on the forum.

What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?
ICOs? ICOs are dead.  Cheesy Or you mean IEO? 'cause if you mean IEO then the best place to do that would be on Binance.
Why? It is the most popular cryptocurrency exchange, good trading volume, and any shill post of a project connected to Binance will surely get more attention to it.
But, getting listed on that exchange is very, very difficult to achieve. The project needs to very good for them to even consider listing it.
So if you have plans on doing that, good luck.  Grin
Binance is not guarantee best place for saving and investing with IEO coin, look how many IEO have lower price listed with Binance exchange, better keep away from investing with ICO and IEO better take holding with top ten altcoin in coin market cap, what for waste much money and time with shit coin of IEO. Moment for ICO and IEO have ended more than six months ago and now era for investing only with altcoin ready on exchange market.
if you save all the results of Initial Coin Offerings in an exchange such as Binance it will not be safe because not all ICO results can enter the Binance exchange place, so it is better you can save all the results of ICO in Myetherwallet which in my opinion is a wallet to store all erc20 assets the safest.

ICOs are no more mate and ICO can't be launched on exchange, if you want to use ICO to raise fund it will be managed by project owner or team themselves, believe me you will end up with worse results because investors wont invest on ICO

Registered with the government but then again what the feds do in a shity regulated ICOs gone wrong is give the owners a jail time which doesn't bring back investors funds most times. To me there's no better place that ensures security for investors and owners what gives security which is not ensured is does the project have a working product?

are you sure about that? ICO is dead? then is IEO really alive? if yes, prove one of the strongest of it. if the topic is a good place for ICO or IEO, then it's not just binance. many larger ones first, such as forkdelta or etherdelta. but if it is still in the ico stage, unfortunately there are only these websites and token have not been launched to any market exchange. then what are your points ??

But it doesn't offer the credibility of a built in escrow service which somewhat dampers the reputation of it being credible.

How about hosting it on a cryptocurrency forum like bitcointalk? One of the reasons ICO are dying slowly is due to the lack of interest from Investors which could be as a result of lack of awareness of the crowdfunding that's why IEO became a trend since all the project does is leverage on the amount of customers a particular exchange has then host their crowdfunding on that exchange.

There is no best ICO place at the moment. Many scams occur with the initial ICO offer, so don't expect a place to hold an ICO for investors.
At the time of the ICO and IEO offers do not guarantee the price after the exchange is still in place so you must be careful when buying coins at the time of sale.
The better that is available on the exchange it will be safer.
The presence of IEO cannot make us feel comfortable in investing. Investors no longer believed in the ICO project so IEO was born. But at this time the IEO project is the same as the ICO project where there are many scams or worthless when entering the market. I agree with you that for better buy token/coin available on the Exchange.

what does it mean to hold back? so far, ICO has different places and projects, so you can't just hold it in. besides that, ICO doesn't have much trust anymore. if you want to ask about sales, maybe the one closest to your question is, "where is the best selling place for IEO?" it is better than asking about ICO which is now almost abandoned.

Has anyone here invested in any projects as an IEO or ICO?
in ICO i invested before any reason why are you asking?
actually more of the member here experience to invested in ICO, its only stop when they see that it is not going to work and many big project failed to give them what investors think they can get if many people invested.
If you plan to invest i suggest not to do it the market of crowdsale is not good at this moment and you will just lost your money.

I has invested in some IEOs on binance exchange site and just got nice result from my investment. Remember this people wanna putting their money on your project when you can create a partnership with good IEO. for the more information about that and you should visit cryptorank to get IEO return and which exchange site that has launched them all.

I was thinking maybe like an EBay or another ecommerce platform that would help both parties minimize scams and fraud. Any thoughts?
it is indeed a good idea however it can only minimize the fraud and scam project but its still there and cannot be destroyed by having it so in the end it will be the same journey as we experience right now.
The best thing is only invest on a project that they can make thier  own developement even without the help of investors , and only those who believe from them can only earn big from that project.

Binance is the best places to hold cryptocurrency because this is the top exchanges in cryptocurrency right now if token is listed in. But you considered the kinds of token that you have, we will have too many scrap token, token that not yet be listed in any crypto exchanges. Be watch out of the scam or spam.
For the the legit token don't be sale in low prices you must keep and hold wait for the good market prices.

If you mean IEO's for your project then you can partner with big exchanges out there so you can assure that you can gather a good amount of response from investors and to the supporters, make sure that you strengthen your marketing plans like offering a good bounty allocations for your supporters and etc.

You can check the top 5 exchanges for IEO's, at first is the binance exchange and you can check whatever their requirements if you like to launch your project in their launchpad or if you cannot reach their requirements then you can go the 2nd or until the fifth. But if you plan to launch first an ICO before launching an IEO, it's up to you and I hope you can successfully launch your project especially if your project is very useful to the crypto society.
