why nobody talks about cloak coin :S,is fast, open source with best security and low supply with 6% staking, highly undervalued

I agree with you. Maybe one of the best things with ahving cloack in your portfolio is that it works against the market. Climbing and climbing....

There are alot of good coins out there. Look at Zencash as mentioned earlier in the thread and DeepOnion can be the next big thing. But the King is Monero and it will be very hard to take over the thron.

Monero is king as it's now, but Spectrecoin might be the future in the privacy coins area.

Privacy is one pf the hardest things to achieve in computer security, so I'm amazed at how many claim it. Xspec needs to explain how they are going to achieve anonymous staking or be one more coin in a long line of vaporware.

I do agree and I know they are planning on getting a whitepaper out, so hopefully that will clear things up. If they keep on track with their roadmap and get more devs XSPEC will absolutely be the best privacy coin. As an investor it's more risk involved compared to going with Monero which without a doubt will keep on rising, but the potential profit is also way higher with investing some in spectre.

Monero is the best privacy coin that will always exist, and it is on the top 15 right now.. How can you say that verge is a good privacy coin? Came on, you sound like those who say that deeponion is the best one of this kind  Grin

I actually prefer Zencash over Monero and Zcash. I think the secure nodes gives them a platform to do some really interesting things, such as secure publishing. It only cost a fraction of the cost of Monero and Zcash too. The team seems to be making great progress. The improvements from the sapling release of Zcash should really help Zencash this year too. I expect all three to do well this year.

I think Spectrecoin will be the best PoS privacy coin if they pull off the stealth staking and ring signatures for all transactions by default. Another compelling feature, is the wallet will connect to the network even China and Russia due to its Tor implementation. A lot of potential.

Zcoin is worth have a couple of due to its untrusted setup vs Zcash and Zencash. They seem to be making steady progress as well. If you are a whale, they recently implemented masternodes, so you could make some passive income off of that if you believe in the project.

I was hoping QRL would have privacy features since they focus so heavily on security, but they recently stated they will not have any form of anon tech at least when launched. Too bad, as it could have been an interesting one.

I answered this question you had previously in the 'scam accusation' thread for Spectrecoin and requested that you come into the slack channel and speak with @jbg regarding this brilliant innovation regarding default stealth addresses for staking.

@Trofo while you agree with the above poster. You have read my thread regarding the introduction of stealth staking because you posted in my  thread (linked above), and are therefore well aware of the development in progress. In this thread you claim you are not investing in Spectrecoin because of the 'aggressive marketing.'

My mistake, I was only referring to the first part of the post I quoted. Mainly: "Privacy is one pf the hardest things to achieve in computer security, so I'm amazed at how many claim it". I apologize to Spectre community for that.

This time i took the liberty and marked part of your quote I am referring to in bold. Regarding Spectre, I still stand by my initial statement in other post. I just don't like when there is so many mainly newer members high praising some project. It could be best project ever but I will skip it for now. And your post has just made me a little bit surer that I am doing the right thing.

Look at DeepOnion, it provides real anonymity "out of box".
In case of other coins anonymous transactions means that you can send money without revealing your wallet address, but that doesn't mean that you can't be tracked in other way (by ip address for example). DeepOnion has TOR integration, which offers maximum anonymity that is possible.

Monero and Zcash are very useful and also profitable, who have a very good project, compared to other projects....

Monero & Xspec are the top coins for PRIVACY, as they both have Stealth Addresses and Ring Signatures.  Monero however has ALREADY MOONED!  Trading today around $400 per coin with a $6 Billion mcap.  Xspec has the same tech that makes Monero great, with some serious additional advantages in its TOR + OBSF4 integration, and is sitting at an mcap of $79 million.  It's pretty clear which coin has the higher 100x potential.  Also, since Xspec is POS, you can earn 5% annually by staking it in your wallet.  Free money!

Can't post images as I'm still teh newbz0rz.  But here is an updated comparison chart image of the major Privacy coins.

Maybe this is the best idea I've ever had, if you have the privacy of the coin you will not worry if it's a scam or steal you. Huh

I think the best anonymous cryptocurrency FOOTY CASH (XFT). DeepSend, wallets stealth, smart contracts, masternode just $ 10,000 5 thousand coins. Total coins less than 5 million.
I think that it is not only a completely anonymous cryptocurrency but also perhaps the fastest growing anonymous altcoin 2018. Now the total capitalization of 7 million many are expecting a soon more 100 mln and above.

As the project idea on virtual games is very cool my friends and I play together

I agree with above and at the moment I am not happy with available solutions. There isn't a single coin which is hitting all my sweet spots.
That being said I believe that 2018 will be the year for privacy coins so I am expecting that new projects will emerge and existing ones will improve on their tech.  This will be very competitive field inside crypto.

Whatever proof he has can be posted here. This shouldn't require people going to slack to talk to a dev. And I suggest no one do this as they will likely try to talk around the issue with buzzwords. And frankly, the fact that you can't explain it yourself makes me think you do not understand how it's achieved, which means you are pimping based on the hopeful presumption that it will work.

Be chimerical on your own dime.

My vote goes to the same as topic starter. Monero and Zencash are well established coins that have solid project teams.

However, a new player to the market is going to be Bitcoin Private. Its a fork of the existing zclassic coin and although there is no exact release date yet, many speculate that it is going to be much better than any of the existing privacy coins.

I think privacy coins are very important in crypto, and hold the true nature and intention of this space. I believe that 2018 will be a big year for privacy based projects.

If you had $10k to invest, where would you spread it in privacy coins and why? Which ones do you think will truly succeed and stand the test of time?

Some options to work with:

Monero
Zcash
ZenCash
Verge
Cloak

My vote goes to Monero, but I'm really liking ZenCash.

ZenCash has a low supply and was recently hyped up on the Palm Beach Confidential newsletter and is a full blown privacy platform. Monero seems to me like a very strong currency with excellent standards for privacy, and a relatively low supply. I can see both of these coins in the $1000+ price.

For now i think monero still fills this role

Verge is a shit coin, do not include that in your list. Monero seems to be the best when it comes to privacy, zcash ain't bad either. The other three coins in your list, not so much. I'd rather stay away from those, especially if you are going to invest 10,000$ in crypto and include those 3 shitcoins would lead me to nothing but a terrible decision and a huge loss.
