I did before just for an experiment betting $0.1 per parlay on a sport like table tennis which I have no knowledge about. Why? Because I am so damn bored and have nothing to do so I searched Stake.com for some sports that are upcoming or playing live. To my surprise, I found 10 games of table tennis that were about to start so I made a parlay. I did it many times and most of my bets were a loss although I did win one time an x50 without finishing the whole parlay and pressing the cash-out button. What did you mean by sport you know nothing about, is it not knowing what options to gamble or what because I doubt if someone will go and bet on a sport he or she doesn't even know the options unless they are just gambling for fun or perhaps they want to learn from there and I think this is a very rare situation for someone to go an gamble on a site they know nothing about. In my opinion, it would be a stupid thing to bet on football and not understand anything about this sport. If you bet on a sport that you know something about, it's a kind of risk management that allows you to reduce losses.

I've done that in the past for several times that I bet for the sports that I don't know and I found it very fun. But it's true that this isn't recommended. If you don't know the sport that you are betting on, don't do it then. If you like to burn money a lot, then that's all you can do and that's to bet for everything and rely on it.

Instead of saying bet only on sports you know well, I would say bet only on sports you enjoy watching.If you aren’t that knowledgeable about a specific sport however you find yourself enjoying the sport then the knowledge will come easy later on. The more you watch the sport the more you’ll understand it the more chances you’ll have on betting. If you don’t know a sport well yet, learn it.
