@Piggy Do you think if you scale the bot to send a notification on a watched list thread would be a good idea?
Personally, I don't like the way BT notify a news post on a watch list thread via email.

In any case Pmalek i can double check the message and see if for some reason is not picking up the notification.
No need to check it I think. It was an edit. I was adding a few quotes at a time due to the enormous size of that post.

This is an amazing thing that you've created Piggy! I love it!
Might want to add for the tele section though that '@' isn't necessary when sending the bot your username on tele. Just simply writing the username works. The other way with the '@' doesn't work.

For the part when you contact the telegram bot, is just required to start a conversation/chat with him by writing anything. It doesn't need to be the username.
I should test the case you mentioned if it didn't work though.
I meant to write 'when sending the bot your username on bitcointalk' typed a little too fast and missed that.

If you are interested in the notifications but Telegram is a deal breaker, you can still have your own thread where the notifications are sent to.
You can find the instructions in the first post.

The bot sees the bbcode, and it allows only one character after your alias.
When someone refers to for instance "LoyceV's data", it doesn't notify me either.

Exactly, when the username has some formatting the bot is not able/set to recognize it. It must be in plain text to work.

In most cases the small part shown tells me if I want to read the post I was mentioned in or not.

Can I have this little suggestion taken in to consideration or eventual evaluation by those who use telegram bot?
Above I have shopped (poorly) the message that bot is giving me, in a manner I would like to see it.
There is no point for the bot to tell me my bitcointalk nick, I'm usually aware of my own name
(also no name, makes it harder for multi-account-ers) I have also edited out the massage or rather part of it. There is no reason for including the fraction of a post, it gives almost no insight and sometimes all we get is an emoticon or just few letters. This way bot could gain a little extra "productivity". Massage is tight, readable, clear and a bit more anonymous (for eventual bystanders). Other than that, bot is flawless, works like a charm.

It doesn't work that way, it is just set to notify for posts which are quoted directly, where is clear somebody is replying to you.
