Stakebtc stole my money!

I read that entire thread and saw that.  Obviously that's horrible and I'm sorry that you lost those coins.  But I'm talking about the claim that you made while they were still "up".

Quote
Nitrogen had a breach in their system which they acknowledged as i will post the emails here.

That "email" you posted (screenshots are your friend) doesn't show acknowledgement of a problem on their end.  They said that someone logged into your account from a different IP.  That's the same thing you said happened on Stakebtc and the same thing you said happened here today.

Again, you've claimed that the exact same thing happened three different times across three different gambling sites over the past year and a half.  This is worrisome.  This shows, to me, either malicious activity on your part (which wouldn't make sense since it seems like you are/were just asking for bets/xfers back) or that your machine(s) are not as secure as you think.  This is a serious problem!

Seriously, what makes more sense?  That three different sites all have/had major massive security breaches that ONLY affected you...or that you have a keylogger on your computer/someone in your house makes bets while you are asleep/you get drunk and make bets and then wake up and say "shit I shouldn't have done that"?

Also, since you seem more open to answering questions now (this is good, it gets to the solution faster):

What have you been playing on betcoin?

Can you take a screenshot of the transfer history and post it here?

Have you ever logged into your account on any other device other than the one you are currently on?

So in the past year and a half, boosblock has claimed to have ~100BTC fraudulently bet/transferred from his accounts on three different sites?

Sigh.

Betcoin just wants to post things without reading them through.

Stakebtc stole my money! They went offline the day they made those wagers. How can you cite that as an example.  All that proves is what I suspected initially: they scammed me and other players out of coins!

Nitrogen had a breach in their system which they acknowledged as i will post the emails here.  Nitrogen also made the matter right and caught their mistake, owned up to it, and apologized.  No money was lost by either party and I continue to play there today and maintain a sizable balance.

Here were the emails which I exchanged with them at the time which demonstrate their ability to own up to a mistake and not just point fingers.

We can confirm that the new account that you created matches the IP when you originally created your dundee account.

We have been running nitrogensports.com for over a year, and the .EU website (using the same security system) for a few weeks, and have had NO incidents like this.

The logs show that someone logged into your account from another IP using the correct username and password. This is worrisome, as usernames are anonymous as well.

Several things trigger manual reviews of withdraws including a large wd and a changing IP.

If you reply to this email with a bitcoin address we can send you your funds, as i am sure that is what is on your mind the most.

We are going to investigate further to see if we can determine what the root cause was.

Here is the transaction:

Right now, we want to leave the account how it is so our tech team can investigate.

We have changed your password to: XXXXXXXXXX

We see that you have XXXXXX in play, and will make sure these funds stay safe.

We will let you know when we have more information on this incident.

Again, we feel terrible. We have no idea right now what could have caused this, but we are going to work our hardest to figure out the root cause.

Thanks,

Jacob

For betcoin to come in here and make half baked claims about my history without reviewing the facts is very worriesom.  Perhaps I shouldnt have been so quick to post on the forum but I did so so that it was documented within minutes of the unauthorized transfer.  Much in the same way I posted what those thieves at stakebtc did when they made wagers and tried to free roll me and went offline not even 12 hours later.

It is my fault for not noticing the other 5.2 btc which were missing last week, but I assumed my funds were secure.  I guess they're not.

boobsblock, we are certainly treating this matter very seriously.  We have frozen the btc and frozen the account the btc was sent to as well as messaged the player who has not responded.

Also, this issue has never happened at Betcoin to date, but has now happened to you with the withdrawal issue mentioned above and at several other websites that you have addressed publicly.  Can you explain how this has also happened to you at other sites before?

I had my entire balance -- approx 45 btc -- withdrawn just now, without notice or approval by me.  I sent in a message to support but have no clue what is going on.  I didnt authorize those transactions at all and have kept all of my credentials very secure.

what is going on?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4164139

It turns out my account was compromised and someone other than me put approximately 40 btc into play.  None of the events started yet and staketbtc is investigating the matter.

This is extremely disconcerting but I'm confident stakebtc will sort this mess out.

I am waiting on an email from them and will report back once its been resolved.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5261473

We should also note that you made a claim that your balance at Betcoin was compromised as well in the past.  We take these matters very seriously and are looking to get this solved as fast as possible for you.

I am currently trying to sort this out with them on chat.

I remain hopeful they will see I never transferred anything before I start posting screenshots and the like on here.

I'm terribly frustrated.

It appears that you can just transfer to another account without the use of a password (I just looked at the screen)--that seems preposterous to me.

Thats exactly what I'm saying.  I had approx 30 coins in the account and have been playing here and there.  I assumed I might have lost that money but apparently I didnt.  I seldom log into the account, but I did not notice.

That was exactly a week ago today and the money was transferred to the same person.

No one has access to these credentials and i have never heard of this person before.  Why on earth would I bring this up now if I intended on transferring to anyone?  I'd like to see the IP these were transferred from but i'm sure that could be doctored.  Again, i have NEVER transferred bitcoins to anyone.

The plot thickens.

Another 5200 was transferred on 3/24 to the same guy.  I never transferred that one either.

Betcoin is chatting with me over their system but they havent provided any insight as to why this has happened.

I'm certain they'll make this right because i never initiated ANY of these.

Are you saying that you didn't notice that you had 5 coins missing out of your account for an entire week?

BEWARE. My account was compromised!

I just happened to catch it but an unauthorized account to account transfer was made from my account to another in the amount of 6 btc.

I caught this less than 30 min after it happened. I got on chat and was told he/she couldnt do anything about it and to send a support ticket, which i did.

I'm currently awaiting a response but want to put this out there now since it just happened less than 30 min ago according to my account history.

Nobody has access to this account but me.

That's a serious issue
are you sure that your password is unique for Betcoin

cause I heard that there are scam poker rooms that use their users information to access their accounts in other sites

Thank you everyone for the questions and assistance.

We certainly take all matters such as this very seriously and are reviewing the details. Is there anything else at issue with your account? Have you ever sent a player an account2account transfer in the past?

Also, when you say this: "Whoever was able to transfer, internally or externally, did so within 30 min of this posting." are you stating that the account2account transfer happened after you posted a message about your account being compromised?  As we stated in our original ticket response to you the funds were immediately frozen.  We look forward to your responses.

No, I'm saying i logged in to make a bet today.  4 minutes after I made that bet my account balance was 6 btc lower.  By sheer coincidence I had noticed then and then posted immediately.  The reason I did that is so that you couldnt accuse me of anything fraudulent since I was bringing it to your attention immediately.  Moreover, there was ANOTHER 5.2 btc transferred on 3/24 which i just noticed.  What the hell is going on?  I have never, not even once, sent anyone a transfer to your site.

i'm antonyc1 and money was transferred to a MikeVlax.  My pw and username is unique to their site only.  I have antivirus real time running and scanned my machine.  There's nothing.

I'm waiting for them to finish their 'investigation'

Neither of you have any real history on the site (no MTTs or SNGs played, nobody has ever posted any cash game HHs with either of you), but maybe you're a casino player or sportsbettor.

Have you logged into your account on any device other than the one you are on now ever in the history of your account?

Furthermore, I rep to reverse the transfer I never made but he/she wouldnt do it.

Again, note that the transfer was caught within minutes of it being made which was unbelievably lucky.

I have one question
every time i open my daily surprise i got betcoin points , status points or tourney money

but i heard other players saying that they got casino bonus

i never got a casino bonus ... Is that because I don't play casino games or it's just about luck

It is about luck. Don't be too disappointed though, I prefer any gift to casino bonus, it requires you to play through the amount to such an extent that it's rare to leave the game with anything. I'm not sure what the % return is in the slots, but if it's a 98% return and you're expected to play through the amount 50x then you're expected to lose the full amount each time (statistically speaking). However with variance eventually you will hit a jackpot and leave with something.

I've gotten probably 6 casino bonuses and never left with anything, the closest I got was playing through 89.2/90. So close!

SyGambler, natmccoy is right on point with regard to the randomness of it.  Casino bonus is awarded the very least but we assure you that if you continue to get your surprise box daily you will get some casino bonuses.  Thanks for your response natmccoy.
