Exceptional Value in the High Five Tournament Series - GTD 2,197 BTC

The High Five Tournament Series has yielded exceptional value to Betcoin Poker players.  Get registered today.

https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoin-poker-presents-high-five-tournament-series-gtd-2197-btc

The High Five Tournament Series returns this month to Betcoin.ag on Jan. 20, 2016. This action-packed series will add five extra tournaments per day with total guaranteed prize pools of $840,000 (2,197 BTC). The series comes to a massive conclusion on Jan. 24 at 4 p.m. ET with the $420+$35 buy-in $420,000 GTD Main Event.

This series has something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 up to $455 and prize pools varying from $2,500 up to the staggering $420,000 (1,098 BTC) main event.

Among the many different types of tournament formats on offer, players can choose from 4-Max, 6-Max and full ring events. Only a couple of rebuy and add-on events appear in the High Five schedule, but there are plenty of tournaments with late registration and re-entry lasting for five hours.

Turbo events and hyper-turbo events are also included in the High Five Series, as well as knockout tournaments and a couple with mega starting stacks. Omaha players will not be disappointed with the schedule, as four Omaha or Omaha Hi/Lo tournaments are scheduled to take place during the five days of action, with three of the events having $15,000 (40 BTC) guaranteed prize pools.

This is the fifth High Five Tournament Series to date and a great way to launch into the New Year. 2015 was epic for tournament players and 2016 looks to become even bigger for players here at Betcoin Poker.

Today is Jan 25th.

The High Five Series is over.

Perhaps you should spend more time focusing on whats really going on instead of trying to manipulate what others think is going on.
Just because you delete posts like this one from your website doesn't mean nobody will know that you took more money than you should for 4 weeks and then gave an extremely weak indirect excuse for not refunding everyone affected.

I suggest learning how to run a poker site, or hiring someone who does.

Is the new WPN "Playpen" tourney available to play on Betcoin?

Unfortunately, these tournaments are not available at this time but we will certainly keep you informed if they are added to the lineup.  Thank you for your question.

Does the prize box reset every 24hrs you claim it or is it a universal time that it resets to be claimed?

It used to be a daily gift but now I see it every 1-3 days.  I believe there was an announcement about this some time ago.

I get it everyday but sometimes I log in and it says "claimed 1 day 3hrs ago". Figuring it's a reset everyday at a certain time.

Is the new WPN "Playpen" tourney available to play on Betcoin?

Oh that reminds me, why were the email address and usernames "available" to someone who used them for malicious purposes?  What other sensitive information was "available" to that person or persons?

I understand where you are coming from with your questions, but what do I have to do with it?? Huh

Are you just trying to bury these issues by ignoring us, posting ads and only responding to "easy questions" or praise?

I don't think anything I've asked is out of line, do you?

Why can't I access my account?

How did someone else get my email and the username I log in with?

Hi,

I think you forgot to address the concerns of myself, Wh0CaR3s, Darkdays and wwwin.

It's almost as if we are being intentionally ignored.

I've also submitted a ticket, asked on your forum (which I think may have gotten me banned, not sure though), sent an email and communicated with a few members of support who told me to wait for a response since Jessica wasn't around.

Please don't ignore me.  (or any of your players)

Thanks!

To ensure that emails received to your email address are sent from Betcoin.ag and not an impersonator we include an email security code with every email that is sent to you.

Every email code sent to a player is exactly the same.  Meaning that all someone has to do to spoof a Betcoin email would be to copy the code that is linked to a player's account.  Is that code saved in the same space as each user's email address and username?  Because if it is, then what you did accomplished nothing.

Oh, also, if Betcoin's website/database wasn't compromised, how did the attackers know which email address corresponded to the correct username?  Inside job?  Betcoin selling player's personal details?

What advantage we receive if play sit & crush ?

Excellent question and here is the full post https://www.betcoin.ag/bonuses/sit-and-crush

Why should cash game players have all the fun?

We are pleased to announce the world’s first weekly progressive Sit & Go race paid in bitcoin! At absolutely no extra cost, players can earn thousands of mbtc PLUS free tournament entries just by playing Sit & Go and On Demand tournaments.

Sit & Go players deserve to get in on the action. That’s why BetcoinPoker.com is digging deep into its pockets and redistributing a part of all Sit & Go fees back to our players.

SIT & CRUSH WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

- You’ve got a new chance to race to the top every week for bitcoin prizes and tourney seats
- Each weekly race runs from Saturday at 00:00 until the following Friday at 23:59
- Get paid your bitcoin prize by end-of-day every Monday

 Here’s how it works:

- Register for any of our “Sit & Go” or “On Demand” tournaments. To find one, just look for the Sit & Go tab.
- Earn points just by playing Sit & Go’s. It makes no difference if you win or lose the tournament. - No matter what, you’ll automatically be ranked on our leaderboard.
- Check your progress by clicking on the “Sit & Crush” logo in the poker client lobby and see your rank on the leaderboard, points and other important information.
- Win thousands in cold, hard mbtc and tournament entries.

Players can earn points toward their weekly leaderboard totals simply by playing in any Sit & Go tournament*. The more you play, the more points you earn, and the higher you’ll rank on the Sit & Go leaderboard. See our Earning Points tab.

The players who rank highest at the end of each week race will win thousands of mbtc PLUS tournament entries and will be paid according to their overall finish.

As you play poker, you’ll rank on a leaderboard for both bitcoin and tournament seats. Each weekly competition runs from Saturday at 00:00 to the following Friday at 23:59 ET.

Here’s the best part: the leaderboard gets fueled at absolutely no extra cost to the player. Each time a player sits down at a Sit & Go, he pays his normal fee — that’s all.

For example, a 9 handed $10+1 Sit & Go (the $1 would be the fee), we will take $0.25 out of the normal tournament fee and put it into the Sit & Crush jackpot. In this case of a 9 handed Sit & Go, $2.25 will go towards the race ($0.25 x 9 = $2.25), 70% is then contributed towards the Race and 30% is contributed to the Tournament Race. In the previous example $1.575 would go to the Race and $0.675 to the tournament race.
- Play your tournament the Sunday following the bitcoin prize payout

User is available but the email address is not. So if they got both not sure how anyone can say they were not hacked. So if they got your user name and email they  can also fake a security code at the bottom of the email and can also link you to a fake site to verify  the code. Not too convinced by their explanation and "security measure".   Nobody should have been able to get both the username and email address in the first place. I don't see PokerStars having this email verification crap each time you get an email nor any other site for that matter.

They managed to  piss a guy whose account had been hacked.

Betcoin.ag has not been hacked but just a target of a pretty elaborate phishing scheme for which we have developed an email security verification system which will be further explained in the next post and Betcoin.ag will never ask you for your password or to download anything via an email anytime.  Thank you.

How did the people who sent the phishing emails know the player's screennames?  Wouldn't they need access to Betcoin's internal database for that kind of information?
By "Screenname" you probably meant "Username".
Screename are public (your name on a poker table) and Username should be private (name you're using to log-in), only the site and your affiliate, if you have one, should know about it.
Well, it doesn't work like that on Betcoin; Usernames are not private at all there.

Just click on "p2p" on a player's page and here you go, his username is given !
Even easier, just write a post on the forum and then you got some notifications about who answered to the thread... well, inside the notification it is not the screenname of the player that is given but his username...

That is obviously a security issue in itself; maybe that's one which is inherent to WPN, I don't know (not sure how the p2p do work on the other skins).

But that doesn't answer as to how someone could get, not only the username, but as well the correct email linked to Betcoin for some players.

Apart Betcoin being hacked, I can't see how it is possible and that would explain the mandatory password change in late December as well as to other issues that faced some players with accounts being hacked like this story: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1315681.0;all
