I agree that controlled withdrawals of everything are not the ideal solution (it is hard when we have holidays, weekends etc.)
And I think that automated withdrawals should be possible with smaller wins, say something less than 0.5 BTC for example.

That still would not work though. Someone could write a bot to withdraw 0.5 BTC at a time, 4000 times.
Instead what betcoin.tm should do is set a daily (weekly maybe?) limit of how much you can withdraw automatically.
That way, they can't be scammed for a lot of BTC.

It depends on the players, it will not force them as long as they are patient enough to wait. In this case, betcoin.tm does manual withdraw especially for new accounts. You cant compare it to other gambling site because each site has its own decision to do the withdraw manually or instantly.
