Not that strange when it is related to marketing stuff. It may come earlier or later and there must be at least a reason why a site start their campaign. If I have to guess, there are some possible reasons such as because the competition among casinos become tougher year to year and other possible reason is that we are getting closed to the end of the year when there will be long holiday and there must be more people who can spend their time on online gambling. But the main reason is obviously to get more exposure in this biggest bitcoin forum.
