I don't owe anything. This was not a loan. I am not in debt to anyone. I do not need to pay anything back.
There are always risks when investing. BetKing is not the first business to lose money.

In fact overall, BetKing has made investors far more money that it's lost over the years (even some of the ICO losses were from profit investors gained pre ICO) and you and everyone from back then know that.

I am choosing to refund the remaining investors still in a loss out of my own pocket (which has totaled 6 figures so far) because that's the kind of person I am.
I don't like to have people lose money when backing me.

But, if interested, you could have read the 1st post in the thread or a few posts back where I gave the total:

"investors still held over $2 million worth of tokens that we we're trying to refund"
of $6 million raised in the ICO (do the math there and you will see over half of investors broke even or profited)

You could post the tx id from when you were "hacked".

You could also post how much money you owe investors.

thank you very much for explaining what you have in mind. I liked MP idea very much and I was not alone but I did not like their rug pull on some very good people.

with MP a casino owner/provider was legally seen as affiliate as far as I understood it. will it be same with you?

Yeah it's a similar concept. It's something I spoke of doing for a long time. The original PRC (former BK) was similar where people could be the house and open their own blackjack tables etc.

You know yourself that Moneypot was pretty limited. There's a lot that can be improved from lessons learned over the years.

Conditions won't be confirmed this early yet. But you know on MP the profit was split between casino operator, MP and bankroll investors.
We will likely do something similar. I don't know if we will do profit split based on EV/Wager or on actual NGR yet either.

This won't be launched until the new year but I will post some progress updates before it launches.
People are welcome to post feature requests here and I'll see if we can incorporate any of them.

It's true that you can't verify that payout amount and I can't just post blockchain tx id's because that is a violation of old investor privacy.
Some have posted in the forums they received some payouts. I suspect others will in future, especially when they see a large % or the full amount refunded.
But not everyone will. What you will see is more people posting they received payouts than people claiming they did not.

As for relaunch, I am now thinking of offering an API service for anyone who wants to launch their own casino that doesn't have the bankroll so they can set up their own sites and not have to worry about bankroll, security, payments, accounts etc.

If you did not need a bankroll if you were to open the website to players, what is stopping you from re-launching again? Keeping the email requirement aside, is it purely down to time restraints and nothing else?

I cannot verify (I think it is impossible for anybody to verify) if you really have refunded $70,000 to BKB token holders but is there no other plan at the moment other than allow existing token holders to play and close the website after investors are made whole again?

This is not a statement to entice investors, we wouldn't need investors for a new bankroll if we were to open to players.

I wouldn't be happy to sell the website domain at this time as it's used for email communications with old investors.
I am willing to sell a copy of any software used on the site in the past to anyone interested, funds from any sale would go towards investor refunds.

If you do not have time to run the casino at the moment and if this is a statement used to entice investors (or put them on alert), can you elaborate on the deal that you would be happy to sell the website? Are you looking for sell outright or are you looking for a cash injection to re-open the casino with a workable bankroll?

This thread will be updated in an attempt to notify investors who purchased BKB during the ICO in 2017 that may not be in the Telegram group or receive emails.

Quick history:
We launched an ICO in 2017 that raised $6 million.
When we closed the last time, investors still held over $2 million worth of tokens that we were trying to refund but couldn't due to the site not able to turn a profit.
The other investors had sold their tokens in the old buy back program (some made a profit) or were refunded in other ways since then.

We are now in a better place to start refunding the remaining token holders.

The https://betking.io website went live in July for investors to withdraw refunds, it is not open to players or deposit. $70k has been refunded to investors so far.

At this time there is no way for any players to deposit and play.
We don't have time to run BetKing as a casino at this time.

We may open to deposits and add extra games in future if we can find someone to run and market the site.

All BKB holders who had an account and tokens on site after 2019 (after the last software update) are automatically receiving refunds from the pool.

Some criminals, like arsonists and serial killers, for example, like to return to the scene of the crime. This has become a standard plot in many detective shows and movies. Another possibility is that he simply ran out of money and wants to do everything over again.

That would be incredibly brazen. Of course it is possible.
However, I think that when someone steals so much money, they don't have to go back to a project that is suspected of being a scam. I think it would be much easier to create something new and build a reputation from scratch. Unless he is afraid of the consequences and constantly tries to hide the scam by pretending that he is trying to fix anything.

How many times did serial scammer Dean Nolan clearly state he was leaving this forum yet somehow he manages to find a way back to keep posting promoting his betking scam?

I can quote his posts where he called this forum a cesspit and threatened to take legal action against theymos too.

He has nobody to blame for teh demise of his fortunes but himself. Serial scammer Dean Nolan destroyed his reputation and that of his once thriving and profitable betking.io website because of pure greed but in the end it looks as though he lost most if not all of the millions of USD$ that he scammed investors out of during the unnecessary ICO as well as the Christmas Wager he refused to honour by citing non-existent cheating and not forgetting the imaginary hack that took place which ended with the betking.io website being closed down and the serial scammer pocketing the then near $500,000 worth of bankroll.

.... and of course, he is back for some more freebie promotions of his website but it is akin to trying to flog a dead horse.

Imagine having lots of other peoples money stolen from you.  More than you could cover.  The first thing any reasonable person does is provide some sort of proof that they weren't the ones that stole it themselves.  Unless there is no proof because they did steal it.  Then they either disappear forever or, if they're really special, act like Dean and try to convince people to give them even more money while blaming other people for the the money that hasn't been repaid.

Either it was some stupid mistake that he don't want to admit, or it was a hack so clever that he don't want to talk about details to do not show the way to new scammers cause trouble to other casinos.

Any chance you changed your mind about sharing the details about how everyones money disappeared during a 'hack' last time and how much it was also?
