I'm very sad to drop down to 4th place because of collecting very few points on the last two gw. Transferring KDB early cost me very much. I should have made sure about his being recovered. Besides Walker also started to be benched despite playing for 90 minutes in every match until I transferred him. This was also a bad surprise for me.
One of the worst weeks to move early, even if it means loosing on price. I am not even gonna look at my team before Thursday to avoid temptation.

I'm not making any early move, except on someone I sure know doesn't have a blank week 29, and I'm still not moving on him yet either way, I'll probably be playing week 29 with around 5-7 players only, hopefully it will be an heavy blank with just a very few teams playing.

but Foden is the last player I'd replace from that list if I were, going by his current form and I don't think he has the most ownership of the 3 mentioned players, if you are speaking of differential, but I could be wrong about the ownership numbersas I didn't check, and it was all just a guess.
Foden is the most consistent performer for Manchester City this season, If there is any player asides Rodri who will be chosen by Pep for all the games, it will be the number 47 Foden. Pep will not want to risk KDB to another injury.
Why the early transfers guys? Most teams have FA cup fixture on Tuesday or Wednesday. After those we will know who will blank in GW29 and who will double in 34. If that is not enough some injuries are bound to happen as well.

Yeah, points hits get deducted from your points for that specific game week not your already accrued total points.

I was hoping for that Arsenal cleansheet yesterday. I don't know why they had to lose focus for a bit and concede that 1 goal especially when I was this close to getting top points in a GW only to watch them concede that goal.

In other news, After 3 good GW, I've finally broken back to top 20. The last time I was on top 20 was in GW2. Feels really good.

Arsenal were close to a perfect win, a clean sheet, but just had to concede, I am sure the defenders lost concentration briefly.This was bad week for most as expected. Still one game tomorrow to be played so maybe some Toney owners still get mega hauls. If it must happen, hopefully his goals will come off Regulion assists

Klopp and Liverpool were lucky to still win the game against clown Chelsh*t with some unknown players who most us have never heard of. If their problems continue like this, the injuries I mean, they could loose their position on the top of the table to teams like Manchester City and Arsenal who are hunting behind.
Captaining Watkins will give me ~10 points differential against most of you that went with Haaland and that should compensate a bit.
I did the same with Watkins and it feels great to climb a few spots after continuously going down the ranks these past few rounds.I was also forced to use my free hit because of the postponed match between Chelsea and Spurs, but I failed to take advantage of it, as I only gained a few points.
I just should have trusted my instinct, that's 18 points + 2 bonus points for Richards and 15 more for Douglas Luiz whom I left on the bench

Considering that Estupinan, KDB and Alvarez did not start and ended up with 2 points combined, I actually have a decent return.

It really doesn't get better, does it, I have Douglas Luiz on the bench for Pascal Gross, after spending multiple hours, I still left him on the bench, I knew Alvarez or Foden wouldn't start the game, I just don't know which of them, now I can only hope Alvarez doesn't get any minute off the bench to get Douglas Luiz as my auto substituted player.

Phew! Finally I'm forced to give up on my team's tweaking over and over again by the deadline, I've spent nothing less than 3-4 hours literally just transfer in players in an out, I've tried nothing less than over 20 different formations and options because my Free Hit was in play that's the only way to get rid of the points hits I have incurred already. I was going to go all in on Crystal Palace defence to keep a clean sheet against Burnley, so I had 3 defenders from them, but I switched at the very last minute before the deadline and go all Arsenal at the back, meaning I'm still without Saka, and since it's a free hit I tried to go for as many differentials as I possible could, I hope it does pay off 🤞
In the end Walker and Van Dijk were my best DGW players and ones that propelled me up the ranks.

I'm still sure that picking defenders from Liverpool and City in DGW is a terrible choice, no matter that you're certain they will play for 90 minutes.

Well, Nunez and Jota are injured and KDB is a doubt. I have Palmer and Bell that have a blank GW, so I barely assembled 11 players with -4 penalty but have nobody from the bench to replace KDB in case he does not play.
I planned everything perfectly, this double GW with Salah as triple captain should have netted me 150 points. It will be a struggle now to make this a functional team yet again with so many injuries and without a WC.
More bad news for Nunez, I really shouldn’t have gone with my guts and rely on my skepticism for Nunez. The DGW pressure weighed so much. Early transfers are always a risk. I felt bad when I took Solanke for Darwin just now. I did it to save 0.1M but I would still feel better if I could have waited till the deadline.
I used to make silly mistakes like this. After a terrible ganeweek, I would allow my emotions get the best of me and hurriedly make transfers on a Sunday. 95% of the time, those transfers end up being bad decisions. One time, I spent 28 points trying to remedy rushed transfers amd got thumped hard that week with even fewer points return. It's my first season and I have made plenty of mistakes already. Now I just accumulate free transfers and use it only when necessary.
Since KDB is becoming a doubt, I might have to sell him for Haaland in the coming weeks since Haaland is already getting back to good form.

Yeah, I'm people! I don't have Salah and don't intend for a while more, but I got Hojlund in very early for Nunez, because I would be losing on both ends of the budget, If didn't early enough. In my opinion, most of those who brought back Salah might have two free transfers and need to be rid of premium or mid priced forward into order to bring Salah and some other player and leave Salah on the bench since he's back, I'm only part of the bandwagon that brought in Hojlund early too, for early transfer is usually for things, the beat price (not often my reason for it) or secondly so as not to forget before the deadline, after checking my final result for game week, I often do arrange my in team for next game week in advance, especially captaincy and substitution order of priorities, I tend to leave the transfer for a bit late into the week if I'm still second guessing myself, but If I'm sure that I'll be rid of a certain player who is likely to have an high transfer out for a player that would be heavily transferred, I tend to do that quickly so as not to lose price on former, and at the same pay higher for the new one, sometime you get to save 0.2m that way.
