After I got rid of Haaland and, quite by chance, took Foden into the team, firstly, things went better, and secondly, the excess money allowed me to be more flexible in choosing players. In fact, Haaland ultimately doesn't justify its high price tag. I think that if at the end of the season we make a calculation based on the indicator “points received/money spent” for each player, then Haaland will be far from the top, not in the top 10 for sure.

This is an underrated opinion to be honest Grin

I mean Liverpool does look like the standout team to get the most goals for the game week, but how many times have we witnessed Mo Salah and/or Darwin Nunez fire blank, even when Liverpool score around 4-5 goals, that's really not an unprecedented event, is it ? Though, Salah is lately having more involvement in Liverpool's goals, Nunez is still more of a coinflip even if Liverpool are playing a side from the Conference league, and he gets plethora of chances.

If Nunez scores 7 goals today and Salah assists 5 of those, I'm good. Otherwise it will be another crappy round.

I'm paying for my shitty wildcard decision before GW25 - my team is filled with injured players and there's nothing I can do.
Still, Liverpool's got an easy game today and Nunez isn't on a lot of teams so he can be my differentiator today.

We have players who are fit, it is bad managerial decision to keep stressing our key players especially with how important it is not to loose any game until the end of the season. A serious injury to any key player entirely ruins the plan for the season.

Saka is not completely injured, but he is not fully fit either. I suspect that against Brighton, he will not play full time, but will have some game time.

Saliba and Gabriel deserve some rest too. I am waiting for Timber to be fully fit.

It was a quite bad gw for me generally.

Too easy for the Sherrif - I have the entire rounds strategy posted at my workspace, and so far it's been working perfectly; I just hope there are no injuries along the road. I still have two Liverpool assets and two Chelsea assets left to play. Potential 80 points incoming....

Now I can wait peacefully for Salah's haul/blank tomorrow. Foden has now compensated for Son and Halaand with the 20 Pointer.

. I haven't followed the last two GWs so my performance has been below par. Maybe I can make up for it for the remaining 8 Gameweeks of the season. I'm still confident in our bottlers league. I'm about to pull a home run by season end.

I had Foden, Alvarez and KDB in my team. I don't know what happened in the last couple of weeks because the only city player I have right now is Alvarez and compared to Foden, he couldn't get on the scoresheet. Foden is easily one of the best midfielders in the FPL this season. A fruit that has kept on giving.

I was never expecting Foden to make a hat-trick today. I can see that only spack17 has Foden at top. The sadder thing for me is that my opponent in the second chance league igebotz has Foden. Even though we are just at the beginning of the league he has gained a big advantage. Sad

Good point. Just today I read about scenarios when a golden match would be possible in the Premier League and the main requirement is that Arsenal be in third place because now their statistics are better than those of Liverpool and City. Now all three teams will try to improve it as much as possible in case of an equal finish on points. I prepared for this and, taking a wild card, chose three players each from Liverpool and Arsenal (City has a difficult game).

I expect a shitload of points from Salah, Darwin and Saka - LFC will want to reduce Arsenal's GD advantage by a bit and tomorrow is the perfect game to do so.

TC could also go wrong - At this point in the season, nothing is certain. Son is the greatest captain fraud of all time, deliver for two GWs and dipping for 20. I knew not having Salah would harm me, so I activated my bench boast to cover any potential Salah haul, but I'm still hoping he blanks to keep me ahead.
