The only rules I I'm not comfortable with is the mid-week captain and player's changes; I prefer to set up my squad and not go back until the next game week; now I'll just follow up after each game to stay up with players information. The remaining rules are doable, and I have no issues with them.

Hi guys,

I have looked at this Fantasy Pool for a while now and read into the rules a few months ago. Now I had a look again and am considering to join for the new season, but can anyone help me out and be so kind to give me a realistic estimate as to how time consuming it is on a weekly basis? I know that it differs for everyone and how much they want to put into it, but a ballpark would be appreciated!

Yeah, I don't like the format as well. Maybe do our own rules and don't use the main page?
Joking OFC, would be a lot of manual work - but the format that was used during the WC is not fun at all and I think it's the same one.

For now i think im gonna skip the fantasy for this Eurocup, but maybe in a few day i change my mind, until now im out.

Are we gonna have some Euro normal pool?

Heh, that is nice, but I'm going to spend the off-season regrouping and studing the BPS system. I'm going to have my guns ready for August.

Last time I was in a Euros pool, I came agonizingly close to wining something, but then dropped out of the top five at the last game, so yeah, there's that. Also I can not even tell you the full list of nations that are in the Euros off the top of my head  let alone the squads.

Euros is more like a training ground to see who is a good player to buy for next season and who gets injured.

My chances of winning are not much better when there are so many more experienced people in the pool than myself, but it has not scared me away.

One of my life's mottos is, How do I expect to become the best if I don't practice with the best??

@NotATether, even with Trofo in it, the pool may be yours to win, but if you do not try, you will never know.

I don't expect as much from this as from FPL. This is way more casual, you can change captains and players mid week. We have wildcard chip and free wildcard. Almost no tactic, just taking best players each round and hoping for the best.

I pride myself on managing the team for long run, here you never have to so that. Hell I am picking players in FPL for at least 5GW and here hole thing lasts 7MD. And 4 or those you have free transfers with chip usage.

You all know I am playing, every buy-in we end up with is good for me. Talked a bit with icopress and we will give you guys a couple more days to give your opinions. Then the pool will officially start and icopress will start collecting money while I will make our league.

Same deal as FPL this season. He is in charge of money, I am in charge of handling fantasy stuff. Hope it will be a good one

Folden, Harry Kane and the one way merchant Saka are all old taste, I want to watch something different and just so you know I've never rooted m this English team. My favorite euro teams ( Germany, Belgium and Croatia) are all shit at the moment and I don't know what I'm going to brag with honestly.

To whom it may concern; download the UEFA gaming app from play store to get access to the Euros fantasy, get your team and play around. I like the mid-matchday sub rules.

Many of us here already will not mind the entry fee, but if we want to attract more people to join in the pool, then we need to consider this and put them in perspective. 1.5 mBTC sounds appropriate.

Many players from England have had a good season and will be entering this competition in very good form. The only challenge for them will be playing time because there will be lots of team rotation. Phil Foden was Manchester City's best player from the just-concluded season; Palmer was the best for Chelsea; Saka also had a good season; and Harry Kane as well. But among them all, the player with the most certainty of playing in more games will be Harry Kane, because he remains England's most valuable player.

Something to keep me active - after two weeks of FPL, I was already bored and wanted something to keep me going. The only issue is that we may have a small pool due to the ongoing signature campaign bloodbath. With current Bitcoin price, 1-1.5 mBTC is sufficient to attract more participants. I'm fine with whatever buy-in fees you decide, but I'd want at least a large pool.

The last World Cup Fantasy was boring with wired rules; hopefully, this won't be the same.

Aside from Palmer who do you guys have on your Euros Watchlist?

Even though it is a lower sponsorship fee than I expected I want to join the fantasy pool very much. Therefore write me to the list absolutely. I'm going to be there.  I think 2 mbtc is suitable. In the end you are buying a fun package for the whole Euro 2024 with this money. 

Personally, I don’t mind this thread having to serve that purpose as a temp thread for the Euros in 2024 days, I’ve been a bit bored with all the leagues gone and I would have loved to compete but, am not a big fan of international footballing competitions. Can’t keep up with them and the news hence, it would be just loosing yet again I think. So, am not sure I would be in on this one but, I might just be here to see how it goes.

2mBTC served its purpose well when Bitcoin price was ranging and it came easy, coupled with the fact that, the sponsorship was much more than that and enticing as well. To enjoy the game and make it more competitive, the entry fee would be what bridges that and push the prices a bit up.

So I’ll say, 2mBTC is enough if you’re sure to have more participants.

Obviously, it could be that and these are speculations that could easily be the other of the times. Like we had people from Clubhouse TV channel on Telegram, coming over to voice over the cheat situation we had from last time and picked up the pace with evidence to support the proceedings, it was something nice to see. Such users would be able to adapt rather easily and add to the forum but, I don’t think the forum is what the sponsorship is about mostly.

My first season, we was just a handful and it wasn’t any less competitive but this season, we had even more users and it still was very competitive. Having more and having the list of users grow helps to promote more competitiveness and the idea of a bottlers league ensures you don’t get to give up on being competitive because you found yourself relegated in the bottom due to some mistakes you made when the season kicked off. All these really adds to what we could benefit as well as the prize pool.

As much as opening the opportunities for just anyone could go, it would be nice for those that have been around to have some differentials with the entry fee. Take it as a faithful’s benefit.

I'd play, not sure we'll get a big pool though. 1mBTC is the soft spot but it's the Euros, if you decide to go with 2mBTC I hope the people will still mostly go for it.

Would be a good test actually. Small sponsorship fee, big buyin, let's see how big the crowd is when we're the ones to chip in most of the rewards.

The sponsorship fee will not be as large as we would like (about $1200 + bonus codes), but nevertheless I wanted to know your opinion.

What do you think if the entry fee is 2 mbtc?

It is very possible that some of these people that would join this forum for the purpose of participating in our FPL games, may just decide to stick around and become members of the forum, so I would not be so bothered about them coming around to just eat some money and leave although that is possible too.

More person's in the pool will make it more fun and improve the competition, I support it too.

This should be fully supported. We need some fresh blood ant tthe more people we have the better.


Honestly, I really like this. Considering the main thing here is banter, everybody that discusses for a while will reach Member status quite soon. I'd say Member and higher pays the same, lower ranks pay 50% more.
That means less room for multiaccounts as well.

You have a point there, I think over the cause of my first season participating in this group and competition, I naturally felt it was a member exclusive thread where users in the FPL get to discuss tactics and how to manage the proceedings of there team, I even had to rebuke a user whom randomly dropped by to share some comment on the games that week but, was made to come to an understanding that by Icopress on how the thread doubles as both an FPL and EPL thread on the gambling board.

This brings to mind that, though we might not have participation from everyone or even some players, it doesn’t necessarily mean that thread isn’t been watched. Before I joined up, I watched the thread for sometime.

I’m my first season, I think users on the forum could get an invitation link to join right from the sponsorship site, was that it… someone remind me if am wrong. While this might not advertise the sponsorship site but rather the forum, this thread, functioning as a double does reflects the sponsorship too.

I get your point, feels like they would just come in, take our money and leave right? I guess that wouldn’t bother you much if you were winning, lol… am not winning anyway but, I’ll be there soon and am not very much bothered on the fact that, I have those much better than myself having to win the prizes and teach me the game but, I’ll like to see these guys around. Not having them come with yet another alt every time, creating more and more accounts that adds nothing to the forum only to leave it after the season and multi-participate in the next.

All good if we can attract some truly bottlers rather than a bunch of Alts to boost the prize pool and increase the pool's competition, but the only concern is that if strangers from outside the community continue to win the larger prize, everyone will become bored and lose interest over time. I enjoy losing money to individuals I know, as well as taking their money for bragging rights.

Can we also increase a little % for those buying in from outside the forum? We pay 1, they pay 1.5 ( forum privilege)
