bitcoin is a better investment right now, and that is a shame since people are sheep and are stupid by dumping their altcoins in order to get a few bucks more, this way cryptocurrencies will never be mature and only greed pays off, they should ban people who sell their alts for btc for profits, alts will never have chance if it goes on like this, this also proves that those stupid people dumping their alts are not true believers of the amazing projects.
Surely, believing in your coin is the most amazing and vital in trading. Actually you are going to put your hard-earned money in that coin, so that coin must be of such potential that can give you back a better and best profits. I'm also planning to invest some money in BTC, but I'm actually scared as fuck because I don't know if it would be smart to invest before the fork since for now it's just a jump in the unknown. On one hand if I invest now and BTC keeps shinning i'll get mad, but if it drops, it would be a nice time to buy, hate this 50/50, but well, you gotta accept the risks to play the game ...

Bitcoin is the first crypto currency that we meet. Which I can easily prove that this the best one thing that really helps me a lot. Bitcoin much more easier than the altcoins more processing than the bitcoin.,but altcoins gives a lot of opportunity to joined. For me it gives me both investment to get a lot of profit.

If you are going to hold your coins for long term then definitely bitcoins is not only profitable investment but also secure than altcoins. Bitcoins can make you rich in few years while altcoins are profitable as well but you need to choose proper coins with some research to get good result.

I would suggest you 2 altcoins that would increase the price soon cause they was already at the bottom, it's doge and burst coin.
This is a very tough question. To answer it I would first need to know which altcoins you are considering investing in. Over-all, for a newbie I would recommend that you stay away from the alts and stick to Bitcoin as it is the most stable and have the highest chance of making a positive return in the long-term. However, if you were asking for my opinion on which altcoin to invest in, I would probably recommend a mix of the well known large-cap coins (Eth, Ltc, etc.) as well as some smaller-cap coins (Vtc, Cloak, etc.).

Investing in bitcoin is currently very risky for me. So, I displace investment to altcoin whose condition is weakening all.
Bitcoin is the best longterm investment at the moment, but if you want to make the most money per day, trading alt coins is more profitable.
But now alternative coins are very cheap. I have not seen the market fall so much for a long time. It seems to me that now is a great time to buy altcoins

If you want to invest for a long period before selling off I think you should go with BTC because of its stability. Just follow your trading plan and execute your exit at the right time.

As the prices are now reversed, risk reward looks better for top altcoins (Ethereum and lower ...) ... likely turn around after the 2x hardfork. The alt rally till January, then again a bitcoin rally, then all rally ...

As long terms investment or just short terms and get profit from price gap? Let first talk about long terms investment. It is better shoot in altcoin with high market cap but don't forget this altcoin not just move because they have big volume but it depends how far bitcoin can go. So if be you i keep watching for a little weeks now. Sit and see how market bitcoin react after this hardfork.
Then let see if short terms. Some of altcoin get good a bit movement some of them has been breakout but as we know bitcoin price once again screw any TA out there. So play as swing trader. Make it more thin frame like 1H or 30M and don't be greedy need a good trading plan for this
