My Betting History

Starting days of 2020 : I took a resolution not to gamble.
Month of March : Once again Started to gamble - Dice

No serious gambling, just for fun along with my girl. Later started to gamble when she is sleeping. Few days past she didn't said anything, because I made little earning. All of the sudden from the month of March to April the slow and steady progress made me reach 0.15 btc to 0.7btc which is very big. Finally the day came where I went for high rolls. Here I got my wallet emptied. That day my girl was crying the whole day and it was end days of April. The following month was the worst I've lived. I promised not to gamble again.

Later once again myself started to spend with limitations along with my girl. Whenever she accompanies we does it for fun and never focus on making money. My mind isn't the same. By the month of October I used my campaign payment from Bitsler. Here I started with 0.025btc and made it to 0.078 which is life saving fund, because it is my only saving. This too didn't last, the wallet got emptied and this time I didn't disclosed it to my girl.

It was truly a good year for bitcoin and for me, but lack of control made the year unforgettable for a reason other than covid-19. People might feel bad on reading it, and I always say the following when you are into gambling.

  • Don't try to make 100 with 1, try to make the 1 into 1.1
  • Don't sit to gamble, do it when you've free time and funds after meeting all needs
  • Be clear (fix it in the mind), everyone won't be lucky to make a big win/earning out of gambling
  • However we try, we loss control. If you feel you're losing try to focus on something else to avoid loss
  • Share your hard experience of losses with someone close to you. This will give you peace of mind, because when you keep it within yourself you mind wavers and think negative
  • Always try to gamble with a companion sitting next to you. This can help you take a break from gambling
  • Always have communication on chats available on the gambling platform. This will help you get good suggestions when you're on winning as well as on losing streak
  • Never set a target and get into gambling

Below is the statistics of my wagering on one particular gambling site. It is hard to see this, because I've got lots of wins and very less losses. These small number of losses have eaten up all my winnings. Sad Sad

Share your Betting History of the Year 2020, and make the year 2021 better with gambling Cheesy

I feel gambling is a game of luck... I'll like to add to the above rules.

1. Always know that gambling outcome depends on the probability of luck..
2. Always know that you may not be lucky.

Good stat you have a good winning percentage, but you are still going to lose, if you mismanage your bet, timing is very important you can win ten straight times and lose it all with one bet, so even if you have a good number of wins it's the timing that matters, and that is what will make you lose everything I have experienced that so many times.

Just like trading, nothing is real until you cash out though! The problem with such stats is how tempting it is to go for even more. Wipe the slate clean for the year and start as if nothing happened,,, deposit with an amount you can lose, like always. Otherwise you lose it all AND more when you start chasing "losses".

what you saw on your stats are real because you make that happen but let not stats hold us , what important that count is the real profit that we make in gambling  . those profits that were made and loose again are not counted because you already loose that  .
that is the trickiest part when gambling but once we know the trick to have a control we can always go home with a bigger amounts of profits .
seeing the stats isnt tempting but seeing your vip bar or your vip progress is what is more tempting , more if you are close to the next level but lets start avoiding looking at the vip progress to kill guilt and possible more losses .

Those are some impressive stats. My numbers don't come anywhere close. The coin I have the most volume is Dogecoin where I have wagered almost $1,000. I only have a net loss of 2,297 Doge which is around $20. As the price of cryptocurrencies have gone up I am also trying to limit my gambling. I haven't quit completely but I am only trying to grind out a small profit by playing cautiously.
You should keep that record for this year and do not even think to use more dogecoin to gamble because we never know if this year can be a good year to earn money from gambling.
As we know that earn money in gambling will be difficult, we should try to earn money from other sources, so we will have the chance to make money.
This year, we should focus on earning more satoshi before the bitcoin price increases so high, and if we can have many satoshis or even bitcoin, we will make a big profit and use the money for ourselves.
I want to limit my time and money to gambling and earn more and more money like other people.

You Have my sympathy OP because i myself have done this several times ,when after losing Big ,i will condemn gambling and Even Put a Spell on this for what Had happen.,then right after a weeks and gathered funds then again will try to double and lose again. I think this adds experiences to us and sooner will have Guts and Will to totally abandon the Idea of Making Money in betting but instead Look for Fun , so engaging too long and wasting funds won't be necessary .Just continue your activities because the More you deny this is the more eager you will have

You don't have to be envy because you can make your own, lol.. Op has a good stats but he still lose his money in the end.
It's just like winning 10 times in a row and you go all in in the 11th bet and then you lose, all your effort is gone and you'll still regret in the end.

The recipe is always the right bankroll management.
I did have that kind of stats back then, although the losing money part did not happen to me. I was envious because OP can still play but me, I am an old dog when it comes to online gambling. Poker is the only game that I am playing now, although with my friends. Did not have that bankroll management back then, I was a high roller after all, really like it when I talk about glory days but priorities change as I have said.

Yeah, a level of self-control which to be up to the core of our heart is needed to stop gambling habits. This may become possible only after years of practice; this is the reason we lose big money before we are developing such resistance toward gambling.

If we really prepare our hearts before playing gambling, I think we can control ourselves without any problem. We don't need years of practice to have control ourselves because we can do that thing in our daily lives, and if we are engaged in gambling, we will be able to play gambling and stop any time we want.

No matter what happens to us in the last year, we have a chance to fix something wrong, and we can have a better result in the future. I know that we already lose money in gambling before, and I am sure that we can prevent that happen again. We really need to have control over ourselves.

I appreciate you for sharing your experience and lessons you have learned through the gambling this year. You have good stats on your profile as what you have shared, compared to others who also have no control over themselves with gambling. This is also one of my main problem with gambling, most of the time I win in the early part when I start gambling, as I enjoy winning or playing I forget about setting aside my winnings and kept on pushing my luck for more money. Greed is our enemy when gambling, self-control is the best weapon when you gamble. Profit is profit and doesn't push yourself too much when you gamble. Gambling is created as a form of entertainment or leisure, but if you consider money too much it becomes stressful.

I gambled less this year compared to the previous years since I am limiting my self, I've lost a lot of money because of gambling the previous years and there are only a few times I go home winning.

I have go back and check how much I had deposited and how much I have profited or lost from gambling. However, overall, I can say I'm in profit but that not too much ad I don't gamble with big money. The unforgetable betting this last year was getting 5.40 odd for ManU against PSG and I won the match. It was a big win for me indeed.
Congrats in your win, as I check mine now I have some wins in some casino and lose in some games in other casino. I can't really determine my winnings or total lose but since some amount that I use in playing came from my reward in campaign and didn't able to use my own savings money to deposit it's still fine, maybe I was able to play alot with different games with the money I won win when I gamble.

Tough losses, but it should be exactly what you expect. You are playing a -ve EV game for the purpose of entertaining yourself - not to make money.

Quote
Don't try to make 100 with 1, try to make the 1 into 1.1

Actually, this is one of the most common fallacies that I see on a daily basis.

Your EV is actually the same whether you choose to place a bet on 1000x odds or 1.01x odds. You'd still be subject to the same exact house edge and therefore have the same RTP figure.

What matters is gaming volume, not the odds. Having low odds doesn't mean you will win more consistently in the long run at all.

Agreed on your statement. Always a better bankroll management is a must with gambling. Same time how hard the effort we take, if we're lucky enough we'll win and we'll get our efforts rewarded. At times I used to connect the bankroll on gambling along with the fate, because I won big and it's not for me.
You have to think as a gambler that you will not win all the time, and though you are so confident with your bet, that doesn't mean you are not gonna lose. Sometimes when we let our emotion play, that's when we don't see what's really happening. Good bankroll management will help you to win or to minimize your loses, you stay with your limit and you'll survive even with a longer cold streak.

Pretty impressive stats, you know what, you can be profitable if you just know how to manage your bankroll, that's the secret to winning but I believe you need to focus on games that you believe you can use your skills, not games like dice where you only rely on luck to win.

About my stats, not too good to brag so I just keep it a secret. Good luck with you, don't stop gambling, just learn to win.
Have to agree, it is a good stats. If you want to have fun by having suspense, you might as well go for those that are probability/luck based games but if you want to make some serious profit then go for the skill oriented one like poker (skills to bluff), blackjack offline (card count). I was envious of OP's stats to be honest, had that kind back in '15 but since I changed my priorities, gambling for profit is just an after thought.

To OP, my tip for your resolution is to not broadcast or say it to everyone, psychologically you are not inclined to do that, you can write it in a piece of paper that only you can see. Doing it and going to do it is a different thing.

We need to reduce our time to playing gambling because if we are hard to do that, I am afraid that can drag us to the deep of the gambling itself. Sooner or later, we will become addicted to gambling, and related to what happens in the market now, and we should save our bitcoin and do not use it for playing gambling. But we can use the other coins which are not too high in price as bitcoin.

That's true the more time we spend on gambling the more we get addicted to it, this is where the habit started long hours of playing and when you are not satisfied with short hours you will have to deposit huge amount of money so you can extend your playing time, gambloingis ok for fun but there are other activities worth enjoying.

That is because we can enjoy the games and we have fun playing games. It makes us to forget when we need to stop gambling, and we do not realize that our money will be gone too. In the short term, when we realize the money is gone, we will be very sad, but we can not get it back since the casino already takes the money. We can have fun playing gambling, but we need to know how long we play gambling and have limitations of the money.

Share your Betting History of the Year 2020, and make the year 2021 better with gambling
My gambling track on 2020 was not that fancy one as I started working from home which led me unable to gamble frequently in front of my family. Still, I guess I might have rolled at least 2k times in freebitco.in (not freerolls) and in bitsler and stakes I might have tried my luck for at least 1k each. My base bet is usually less than 10 satoshi and I follow martingale to recover my losses; this way I remember I did not lose any of my dicing attempt in 2020.

But in 2019, if remember correctly I lost more than 0.015 BTC in dicing alone and I lost few sportsbetting as well which were 0.001BTC each. I guess gambling only at home with the fear of not disclosing my gambling habits to my family seems helping me not to lose much.

It is tempting to us, and if we don't have an effort to control ourselves, we will continue playing instead of stopping gambling.

Controlling emotions is the most vital part of being a gambler until you will have no desire of playing anymore. when losing so much especially losing in a big amount every day will lose your desire to play even though the next time you have some extra money to play but if you suffered a great streak of losses, you need to think if playing such games are entertainment to you or just a wasting time and money.

We must have control of our emotions, so when everything becomes hard, we could still think clearly about what we need to do. Perhaps, in those situations, we can decide to stop gambling, even if we are losing the money because if we still continue playing, our losses will be bigger than what we can imagine. But some people who can still control his emotion can continue playing some rounds because they think that they can win in the next rounds. It is tempting to us, and if we don't have an effort to control ourselves, we will continue playing instead of stopping gambling.
