Below is the statistics of my wagering on one particular gambling site. It is hard to see this, because I've got lots of wins and very less losses. These small number of losses have eaten up all my winnings. Sad Sad
These are huge amount that are wagged, did you start wagging during the lock down. When the entire sporting events were halted i tried some of the games but i was not comfortable even though i won some surprising amounts and i consider that as fluke as i really did not understand what i was really doing. I ventured into virtual sports and Table Tennis even without watching the matches and what i noticed is that there are huge upsets and it looks like scripted matches  Cheesy.

I wagged around 100 ETH and around a million dogecoin during the pandemic and i lost a lot but overall the losses are not that huge.

thats from stake right op ? im curious if what is your rank now on there because you got a nice wagger . your number of wins are more than your losses based on your stats but that could be because you play to wagger with smaller size of bets per rolls but that still impressive becuase you have managed to earn while waggering but usually the scenario that happen is that we can hardly earn a profit if we decide to play for waggering and we cant wagger big if we decide to play for a profit with bigger bet size  . your resolution wont differ to many of us , its really hard to break the gambling habit especially if your been addicted to it before but keep on trying , if your really dedicated i believe that you can do it .

Pretty impressive stats, you know what, you can be profitable if you just know how to manage your bankroll, that's the secret to winning but I believe you need to focus on games that you believe you can use your skills, not games like dice where you only rely on luck to win.

About my stats, not too good to brag so I just keep it a secret. Good luck with you, don't stop gambling, just learn to win.

We only realized how big we are already betting if the market is bullish.

Mine, I don't keep track anymore, I just don't want to feel disappointed anymore, gambling is for fun, so it should stay that way.
Looking back my total wager may just cause me some regret, questions like...

What if I hold?

What if I did not gamble and instead I keep it for long term?

and so on... ....

in life, nothing is certain and we don't see the future, we just have to learn and keep learning.

I haven't keep record of my gambling history from 2020 since I know that it was all negative.
But my resolution for this year is to avoid gambling or spending my money on unnecessary things,
But I know that it would be hard so I would start by baby steps by reducing the amount that I would deposit on gambling sites and limit it.

Learn from your mistakes, if not you'll lose everything in the long run.

I think we should start with a simple realization of the fact: in the long run you will lose everything anyway. This is mathematics and it is undeniable. You need to understand a simple thing: gambling is entertainment and it costs money. You should treat it this way and not try to make money here.

I think, reading your history, that could be added also another couple of rules:
-if you have a good profit withdraw immediately a big portion since it can ruins from future loss like your experience described.
-don't play with money saving bust just with a limited and dedicated budget.

Not only that for me I did lose a considerable amount in 2020 and then decided to implement another strategy:

If I see that am loosing a lot , I just call it a day.

I believe most of the times we do need luck when it comes to Gambling and therefore if at any moment I see that I did loose 50% of my money and had no profit or whatsoever.

I do : STOP

It is indeed always a hard thing to do and sometimes you just think maybe the next bet would bring you good amount. First you bet for 1$ then 5$ then 10$ but indeed we need to learn in 2021 how to stop when it's bad for us.

Addiction is always a risk that we all take here.

Also we can try and use the new system that many sites have now where you can try and place a bet with 0$. This way you can very well get some experience without having to spend more.

We need to reduce our time to playing gambling because if we are hard to do that, I am afraid that can drag us to the deep of the gambling itself. Sooner or later, we will become addicted to gambling, and related to what happens in the market now, and we should save our bitcoin and do not use it for playing gambling. But we can use the other coins which are not too high in price as bitcoin.

That's true the more time we spend on gambling the more we get addicted to it, this is where the habit started long hours of playing and when you are not satisfied with short hours you will have to deposit huge amount of money so you can extend your playing time, gambloingis ok for fun but there are other activities worth enjoying.

Before 2020 I barely gambled at all, so 2020 was a year of slowly getting into it (especially into betting on sports and other events). I gambled for fun, and I didn't spend much money on it throughout the year (I think it was about $100 for the whole year), so I'm fine with it. But I don't have any addiction issues, I don't get too attached and I don't try to win big or anything.
What the op's talking about sounds like addiction, and it can bring troubles not only of the financial kind, but also with relationships and life in general.

your betting history is kinda unique, even if you have decided and make a resolution not to gamble anymore still you were unable to control yourself and started to gamble again. But I understand you as staying away from gambling is not that easy especially if you have free time and you have nothing to do.

in my case, i always gamble my extra money and i always control myself whether i win or loss. usually i gamble in sports like basketball, soccer, boxing and also i play some poker in my free time. compare to your history, i didn't create a resolution to stop my gambling habit but still i can say that 2020 is a profitable year for me in gambling as i can see in my history that i am green overall which is good even if i only gamble using a little amount of money. but i also emptied my wallet sometimes especially if i can hit a loss streak, so i guess we are the same in this scenario.

Everyone has an interesting story about the experience of playing gambling, I also have some unforgettable betting history in 2020. To be honest,
I like Dice game the most compared to other gambling games. Although for some people Dice is not attractive because they have to rely on luck,
but for me who is looking for entertainment in playing gambling. Playing Dice which is light is perfect for providing entertainment.

I still remember playing Dice using Bitcoin, I played bet odds 1.5 with a win chance of 63.33%. With the Martingale strategy and starting a bet
amount of 1000 satoshi. And I played the manual bet, with a 0.02 BTC bankroll. Imagine that I lost all my capital in less than 40 minutes.
I was quite stressed when I experienced this, imagine with the current price of Bitcoin $ 33,000. That means I've wasted about $ 678. It's one of
the most unforgettable gambling experiences in 2020. I hope that in 2021 there will be more luck when playing gambling.

Not a good story to hold on but a good story to learn on our mistakes in gambling, I also had a lot of bad experiences in gambling, but I prefer forgetting all of them and just move on there's no need crying over a spilled milk, just set up rules where you are not going to lose big money and learn to accept the fact that gambling is a game of luck, don't look for it as a way to make money.

Indeed. Casual gambling for entertainment and fun is probably all right. But if you become addicted and it starts to affect your life too much, you should definitely seek professional help and find a way to quit gambling.

Gambling cannot be a way of life and as such, we must not allow it to affect our private lives and personal relationships. I happen to know a few people whose lives have literally been ruined by gambling addiction. They've lost almost everything: their jobs, their homes, their families... I'm sure none of us wants to be in such a situation.

Same as me there are many people around, but very few users share the experience. Someway what we share will benefit the new gamblers in one way or the other. However we should not try to make a negative impact over our life at any circumstances. Even if there is something bad happening we should develop confidence to overcome the situation.
Because the truth is , Majority of the poster here in gambling Section Don't really Gamble or maybe occasionally ,but not to the extent of losing Such Big funds ,0.7 bitcoin if it was today ?that would be More than 22,000$ if you are living in third world Country then Surely You had already a millionaire in that amount.

Only Few that Will share stories Because Some are not Ready or willing to admit their Mistakes , or Some of them Don't Feel like sharing Their Mistakes Wrong decisions in life, instead they want those to be Buried And let start new.
Both of you are right. I am too afraid to use too big money in gambling, but I do not use to gamble if I want to gamble, but I use altcoin.
Bitcoin is too precious for me, and I can not imagine if I lose 0.7 btc, I must have a headache if I got that experience.
Losing 0.7 btc today or at the beginning of this year will be the pain, so I always limited the money that I will use to gamble.
Although I never count how much money I already lost before, I always use the money I can afford. So if I already lose $5 in a day, I will stop as fast as possible to prevent the other loss.

I should say you are most lucky than myself when it comes to Casino Gambling that is why I have shifted to Sports betting but once in a while giving a shot to my luck on the online casino but only with my free money and free time only,

I really think that even though you had it going through your mind that you are only playing for fun there is an urge that lets out without us knowing it and I think no one is safe with this including myself we tend to really feed that emotion that giving us the urge in controlling our control and decisions sometimes,

But I am not saying that you should stop playing gambling I say that you should not let your inner self let loose and take control of your decisions.

Oh boy, I just felt the pains in you when reading your piece of experience, though experience is the best teacher ever, same bad luck happened several times to me. I started going into gambling since 2014 but since then I haven't hit big, the highest I have won is $25 but have spent upto $500+ which actually shows to me that I'm not a good gambler, so I quit for a very long time from May 2018 to November 2020, I came back with strategy of unsteady prediction. I love betting on football matches not casino/dice actually.

I came to conclude that going gambling is;
-- Not for everybody, but for the lucky dudes out there.
-- Never bet with low and high money but with moderate amount, it never hurts when loss.
-- Ask for betting opinions from fellow gamblers about some certain pick, you don't know it all.
-- Quit immediately if you keep losing, if can't quit, play with less amount and probably twice in a week not often.
