"In CryptoEnergy we trust"
I am one of the victim like this, its really hard to detect where is legit and where is not, as some of this phishing sites are too legit but in the end, its a scam. The experienced that i had, serves me the right not to fall any types of scam like this, many of this postings are now popular in crypto groups, so lately what i did is that, i ask some members of the group to check whether the said program is legit or a scam.

This is essentially for those who are new to the space, that they do not fall prey to cheap scams. The above ad seem to be very popular on facebook, a mimic, requesting you to fill the form and make some deposits to claim your rewards. That's is the scam part. The legit site is https://www.coinmama.com/ and NOT coinmama.com.ru. I am sure those who made deposit will not get anything  out of it as it obviously mimicking another popular site. Just be careful.
Any contrary opinion is welcome for discussion pls.

thanks for the update and warning.  It is actually very important to looks out of the website we visit and make sure they are the exact correct website. Scammers can use different means possible to get money away from anyone.

Thanks for sharing this mate, I am sure it would have helped lots of people who would have fallen victim to avoid it. I think by now, so many people having understood everything going on in the crypto space should be wise enough now not to fall victim, no matter how new someone is to cryptocurrency, there is no way he or she would not have heard of the high rate of scam going on in the crypto space, and be extremely careful with his dealings.

Thorough research must be done very well before using any site that we come across, and when it comes to these exchanges site or some projects sites, I usually do prefer to go through the sites registered on coinmarketcap if they have any record of such projects on their database.

Thanks for sharing this info. It will really help leftovers to avoid this scam.
This is not something new. In 2018, hackers earned Ethereum worth $150,000 from MyEthereumWallet. Hackers steal over $150,000 in cryptocurrency with DNS scam

I read that and that is one of the reasons why I left using Myetherwallet, there is no guaranty that they will not have a repeat of what happened back then, I'm now using hardware wallet and of Mycrypto desktop wallet it's more safer than an online based wallet.

Only greedy and naive people will fall for such scams, there is not free launch anywhere, no one will give you such amount of money for free just for doing nothing, even bounty hunting doesn't pay such amount, people should be careful not to part with their hard earned money to phising sites and online scammers

Thanks for the reminders But the sad truth is the scammers was still using a rampant scamming method like duplicate and copycats sites and its not new in the crypto-space. But many was still victimized by this cheap method of scamming activities, thats because some people has not learned how to compare the bogus and the legit one.

Phishing sites or links are very scattered everywhere. If the site or project is successful, of course there will be people who will imitate it and ask people to make shipments or payments. I have often found that and now it is indeed very important to look carefully at the website address or something else.

Someday you wake up and see a website that advertises that you will get $ 500k free XLM? If it can easily come to you, then I am sure it will be unfair for everyday hard workers to earn $ 10 in this market. I believe that free things come with scams and trash.

I think there will be no opposition in your post OP.  It's been a practice of this scammer to use phishing site, and this kind of tactics to acquire BTC or other altcoins for free.  Thank you for keeping us informed about this kind of scam.

Thanks for the fair warning you have given to the community. Yes, I agree that there are a lot of phishing sites out there, so people should really do their due diligence before clicking or sending any info on the webs as you might be another statistics on the growing list of victimise by those scammers out there.

Just for clarity though, this is the phishing site,

Code:
coinmama.com.ru

And kindly remove the link in your post, or replace it like coinmama[dot]com[dot]ru so that no one will accidentally click it. Thanks.

There are consequences for every action
I think the first foremost, avoid free and cheap offers
Then you need to bookmark the websites you visit often and also be watchful
Dyor and don’t be in a hurry to trade your tokens

That's why I always bookmark the crypto related important sites on the browser and I never use Google for finding the exchange. Google can be uses for advertising the scam phishing sites and so many people are trapped there easily thanks to Google...
If you surf the Internet a bit, bookmarks are a good solution. Otherwise, you should be attentive to bookmarks as well. There are quite tricky scripts that replace the links in the bookmarks with something else. Crypto is a difficult environment, we need so much attention to not get caught.

I guess we should be vigilant always on every sites that we visit. Additionally we could install add ons on some browsers that monitors the integrity of sites we visit and could give us an early alarm if possible. Also, if we see news that seems too good to be true then we must investigate further  and conduct DYOR to avoid being scammed.
