No exchange would do that, unless that coin is created by them with a fake team.
There are a lot of shady exchange in the market, IEO is good but only when a reputable exchanges are hosting it.

especially IDAX, I saw yesterday's news that IDAX escaped more than $ 5 million. I am always aware of any exchanges and be more careful in following the IEO. I just followed the IEO at a popular binance exchanger.

It is obvious that a lot of exchanges these days claim to have included IEO launchpad on their platform but quite a few will stand out, it is unfortunate the new project market is not as successful as it was was expected, particularly I have suspended buying into new projects but would rather buy on listing and that is after I have observed its price movement for a while

Actually ICO and IEO are not much different. If the price of ico alone can go down when the listing in the market then the price of coins in the IEO is the same. The IEO does not guarantee the price of their coins will always go up and will not go down. Because the increase and decrease in the price of coins depends on the buying and selling strategy and the IEO team. So it's best before deciding to invest in the IEO to be careful in choosing the IEO.

Not only Binance some other exchanges are also good to follow such as Huobi, OKEx, Gate.io, they also provide a pretty good profit even though not as big as binance, and also the projects they present are always of high quality

Agree, almost all IEOs from large exchangers are very legit and profitable. When investing in the IEO, we really have to be careful when choosing an exchanger who organizes an IEO because not all exchangers are good to follow

For now I really don't have much of the information coming from those legit IEO exchanges. Hopefully we will find those good exchangers which could provide us an assurance to earn better profit for the future. Having awareness is always our responsibility to gather secured background of the exchange site, so it's a good advice to beware most of the time.

This is something we should do an investigation, in ICO we are worried on projects scamming investors and bounty hunters and now we have this issue if they lie about the raised amount there's no way we can do about that because exchanges have full control of that, it's very important for investors to do research on projects that they are investing if they are really going to make an impact in the community.

I strongly concur with the fact that IEOs can be controlled by some exchange and everybody should be aware on it.
I also heard that there are some allegation about idax cryptocurrency exchange right now by various project that make ieo in there exchange. cryptomarketads which is one of the projects affected stated that idax control the trading to draw client to invest and its very difficult to confide in other exchange.
This is a big blow to the IEO market

From what i heard, there are some bad exchanges holding IEO, and fabricated the sold amount.
This is of course will create dumping price if there are only few investors that really bought the coin.
That's why we just need to join IEO from the reliable exchanges only.

You will not remove the fact that as a token is listed on an exchange, the price of it will immediately plummet because investors and the team will sell their tokens to get profit. IEO just reduces the chances of being scammed and that's it.

because they are from the IEO. they came from approving the project. it's like a bomb for themselves.
they have to study at binance, where they manage how the projects listed in their IEO are good projects. when all exchanges think and do the same standard, it will show investors the really good project.

IEO is the latest trend embraced by many new projects. IEO has become popular lately and is gradually replacing ICO. It has many good and bad sides. As you said, some exchanges are resorting to fake amounts raised during IEO just to attract traders and investors. This is true and another truth is exchanges may scam in the name of launching IEO. For instance, IDAX. Pro is reported to have scammed out of up to 5,000,000 USD in the name of holding IEO for many crypto projects. Stay alert.

it's called stimulation, when exchanges fake the amount they raised from an iEO, a topical example of this obvious scam is idax which has been confirmed and broadcasted by the affected projects. Until now, no one knows what happens behind-the-scenes odds this IEOs

Since it's becoming a trend now, the exchanges are the beneficiaries now and will do everything for the project in order to receive their payment especially for the low grade exchanges. An IEO is not a guarantee for the success of a project although it grants speed of transactions during the sales. What investors should look out for include the product of the project, the level of its demand, the team expertise etc.

Even though the concept of IEo is said to be safer and more reliable, scammers must still have a way to steal your money. so the risk will remain in every investment. still be careful in joining the IEO, we better participate ieo in top exchange like binance or huobi.

The first batch of IEO started with Binance who happens to also be the originator, and till now, when we talk of IEO, I only do picture Binance lone, because I already knew that there is no way IEO will succeed with other exchanges, other exchanges lacks the integrity to really run IEO, and I think Binance has never lost record of its success in IEO, most of the IEO that Binance has conducted even after the first batch has been so successful and more of the new ones too are having record of huge success, just that their IEO project is not that much to really stir the market up. SO when I think of investing now, I will only consider investing in Binance IEO alone, and not all these fake IEO we see with other exchanges that doesn’t have reputation.
