yes, we should be cautious in terms of participating in IEO's specially on those new exchanges.. this is the new form of scamming people..
In the current IEO exchange, I see Latoken and IDAX are exchange that do not invest in project quality, but only give out IEO continuously, while those projects do not have potential.
the project had no trouble registering with IEO launchpad at IDAX or LATOKEN. different from binance, or KUCOIN, there are conditions and not all projects can be registered by the IEO there. because choosing a bad project might bury the exchange itself because it relates to investors and traders who are in their exchange.If you will compare the IEO in Binance from other exchange, you can clearly see which exchange have the most success in IEO, and the clear answer is Binance. I think people are considering first the reputation of the exchange than the IEO, and then they decide to invest.
Personally, I don't believe that all projects in Binance IEO are good, Binance are just popular so it could influence the investors confidence.
Now this test (adequate sample) is doing for you exchange. They, too, at least a little value their reputation and conduct an initial check of projects on the bench. No guarantees of course but this does not prevent us to slightly increase your depo.
The good thing is you only need to find one exchange that doesn't do that and get your tokens or coins through them. I still think it is much better then normal ICO. An ICO doesn't nerssarily mean it is a scam since legit places will still use it. You are right to warn us though, we need to be vigilant with the new coming IEO.

I think, large exchangers will not risk their reputation for manipulating IEO sales. In addition, the IEO must be monitored by the developer team because the IEO's goal is to raise funds so I think the IEO is a good alternative to the current ICO.

Yes, there are lot of lies about the amount recently. A well proven example is IDAX exchange. Idax only stimulate sales on the exchange in order to convince people that the project had a lot of demand and sold in seconds. Crypto market Ads open up their secret recently when they are not cool with Idax terms and conditions.
A lot of money crime is been committed through IEO by some exchanges who are out to make more money without consideration of the risk they expose the public buyers to. This is because this our community remains highly unregulated and it's part of what is hindering some investors from committing their fund to buying new projects. Avoid some of these exchange.

The solution is to stay away from new exchanges or unpopular exchanges ,no matter how tempting the IEO they launch might be just don't risk it ,better go for IEO from binance ,okex or huobi

Yeah and it is thinking like yours that is fueling the ieo madness, at least now people can see that ieo are not too different from ico except the security aspect which in my opinion was the major reason ieo's were introduce, but suddenly ieo are now the new quick money making avenue (thanks to binance), anybody participating in ieo is immediately expecting x10 otherwise the project is a failure
and yet people condemn ponzi when indirectly they encourage things like this

For sure senior, I think we have to look smart and always think ahead. Since they are the ones managing every thing they could just cook up anything force it down our throat. Not all IEO's look good as they claim.

Its not because the project is under by the IEO programs it means, their token is potentials. Of course is not like that, because there are many platform exchange in the market that are not good actually, better to join in the IEO if the exchange at least listed at the top 30. In that way that coins has a chance to become successful in the near future.

First of all beware of IEO on Idax. Please don't invest in any IEO on Idax exchange. Many projects has been scammed by Idax already.
Secondly, don't just participate in any IEO you see an exchange. Please check out he trends of previous IEO's hosted on that exchange before investing your money. You might find out some important information by the just conducting a research on past projects that conducted IEO on the exchange.
I do not know if it has a exchange scam but has a low vol and most of the fake volumes from bots. I do not invest in any IEO on it, there are many other options from larger exchange
