First I have thought that participating in an IEO project is a safer way than participating in an ICO project. Because with the IEO project we already know where our tokens or coins that we buy will be traded. But after reading this tread, I realized that we must be careful in choosing exchanges that participate in this IEO project program. With the increased volume it might be one of them. Because it is true, it can attract people to participate in the project, which in fact is still small sales volume. This means that we must remain vigilant and careful about our money.
IEO is new way chosen for more trusted crowdfunding types. However, I also think so, we must be aware of certain IEO exchanges that we find out recently. Several exchanges may not be trusted highly, they are still new and have a small trading volume. However, to attract more investors, they sometimes have certain manipulation on the trading volume or price value. In this case, carefulness is a must needed before taking part in the IEO exchanges
Yes this is true and the possibility of this repetiting itself is high as most exchanges will always like to portray a good image thus attracting more users. But in reality this is wrong and might lead to the downfall of IEOs or to investors losing interest.

i don't think this is true. binance has successfully conducted the best IEOs so far. from bittorrent to the last IEO, ELrond has all been successful. i can only accept that Latoken and Idex has been the worst exchanges for IEO so far. they lied a lot about IEOs conducted on their platforms were successful where as they were Not.

It's funny you mention "bitforex" next to Binance and Kucoin. How can a trash exchange be compared with top exchanges like Binance or Kucoin. Yes I agree that IEO exchange is very important as it directly affects liquidity of a coin. After listing, a huge amount of tokens are sold. Low volume (which usually happens on less known exchanges) will lead to losses in general. Personally, I only believe in 3 exchanges for IEOs: Binance, Okex and Huobi. The reputation of exchange greatly influences the success of the IEO project. Investing in projects that are at the top of the exchange will be safer, and keep doing research before participating in it to reduce the risk of loss.

The point I like about this post is that crypto enthusiasts should be mindful about the exchange hosting the IEO they want to participate in. Do not just buy into IEO on exchanges with low reputation or unverified exchanges which most times end up as scam. Also, do proper research on the project holding the IEO, don't just assume it's a good investment because it's IEO.
Investing in IEO is not an assurance that project will be good. the project success relies upon condition in market, and what designer do with their project. IEO not implies we get it with no exploration since it is practically similar to ICO, and just platform which used to held it is unique
yes, for IEO, indeed some exchanges are very disappointing because the exchange cannot make the price of IEO tokens go up, but it actually drops and even drops very badly (-2x / 10x), it is better to try IEO it is highly recommended to join a proven exchange like binance, bitfinex

IDAX promised to list Xcrypt at 2 July. but unfornatelly they (IDAX) was broke their promise to list XCT on there. so be carefull with IDAX.
That's the first I've heard so far. Too early to say its a scam but if they are really scamming, they're are doing it at this very early stage. The bullrun hasn't shoot on its full speed yet. The user above says its worth $5M, that's really a lot. Normally, when a project does an IEO to an exchange, they are also going to add the token there.
You have to dig deeper onto this, an investigation first because I have a feeling that its not just the exchange is involve but the Xcrypt team as well. Both scam the investors otherwise an explanation from both.
Now, a lot of IEOs are taking place on very small exchanges and many new users of our market believe these exchanges. this is a big problem
In my opinion, although the IEO offers new effects and brings trust to the community, nothing can guarantee the IEO can bring success to the altcoin market and the future of these projects. even, maybe these are traps. For me, Idax is not reliable. It is best to be cautious and pay close attention to many other factors.
I think ieo is better than ico, because it already has links to the trading platform. But you should only participate in projects on the binance platform, kucoin and some reputable trading platforms, ieo platforms on idax, latoken, bittrex, ... i advise you not to participate

especially IDAX, I saw yesterday's news that IDAX escaped more than $ 5 million. I am always aware of any exchanges and be more careful in following the IEO. I just followed the IEO at a popular binance exchanger.
