Does anyone here have a testimony, or more importantly, a bad experience using Moneypak?

If I sell BTC for moneypak, and then cash it out to my paypal then withdraw it to my bank, will I have a problem?

If I use a prepaid visa card, and withdraw the cash through an ATM is it an issue? If not, where can I get cheap or free prepaid visa cards that are ATM compatible?

I have not heard of their being any problems if you submitted all your personal info to PayPal. Edit: Looks like you're not allowed to withdraw your own funds if you submitted your own Money Pak.

Well, that's not entirely true. I loaded up my paypal with MoneyPak and already did several withdrawls to my bank, but I'm not sure how many more I can do and I'd rather not risk it - so I wanted to hear from others. Then again I have been verified and confirmed with Paypal for 5+ years now.

PayPal's terms of service do not allow funds added by MoneyPak to be withdrawn and sent to the account holder's bank account. PayPal's intention is that those funds added will be used for sending money to a merchant or to another PayPal member *

I really need to know who wrote this, and where the TOS says so.

That "refund" request is pretty concerning. But how does it work exactly?

I just tried that refund request with a MP code I already loaded on Paypal and this is what I got:

Quote
There are insufficient funds for this transaction. The balance on this MoneyPak is $0.00

So this "refund" is for Moneypak $ left on the card, that you likely request probably through check in the mail.

I can confirm that once you hit a thousand a month in moneypak to paypal to bank account that both paypal and moneypak look into the transactions and will no longer allow your SSN to accept moneypak. Happened to me personally about 1 year ago. They told me moneypak was to add money to my paypal for payment to others only. They consider you as accepting moneypaks as payments which is not allowed

In Collateral I Trust.
I add MP and send to my bank account often, never an issue.

There must be some new rules for this section like members will need atleast jr. Member of Full Member status to post in this section because the rate of scam is going up every day ..!

A lot of people are trying to scam nowadays and as you said it's rising from day to day. A lot of scammers. Be aware guys and always use an escrow service.

Or if you deal via PayPal tell them to send the money as goods and then tell them to dispute and then close it. Like this they will be no longer able to chargeback the money.
Personally i never use Paypal and any services where someone can file disputes..! Rather I use services like Perfect Money or other where no one can file disputes , and I can sleep with lil less stress..!

For withdraw from paypal is just a click to your deposit account, which you use for register paypal, or add another one. What shall be easier from skrill? It's the same way...The difference: Paypal = withdraw for free, skrill cost you a fee for withdraw.

"Easily revealed" my arse. There are so many ways to use another IP and make it look 100% like you got "hacked".

I was talking about that "example" dude ... so I never had problems with that. But I just keep using it PayPal while exchanging .

This example is nonsense, and i and all the other wrote already why.

Btw, i just check your thread, the last sentense is not true. Wink

I am selling BTC now. I have $500 BTC in stock. Will accept only Skrill. Please do not bother with PayPal.
But that is good, don't trust this useless crap service.

I don't use it for now because I can't withdraw from PayPal that's the problem and withdrawing from Skrill for me it's much easier. Because I need to find some exchangers from PayPal to Skrill and the fees are huge .. so that's why I am not doing it for now. Maybe later when I need it I will do. And mostly when I do accept PayPal I am using to purchase something from amazon... like some stuff etc ...

Ok, then let me clarify it once again: If someone pay you something with paypal, and claim later his account got hacked. You can: call paypal, write a mail to paypal, send a carrier pigion to paypal, send a letter to paypal, drive to paypal and camping outside the building, or whatever you like to do, the result will be the same.

You will lose your money.

Simple as that. Sorry to say it a bit rude...but i don't want that anywho get the idea, there is a way to avoid this or to win a case. That is just time wasting, nobody can win a case against a unauthorized access claim, if the scammer do everything well.

Do you know that PayPal investigate from what IP is used the account... He may write what he want, like in this case that his account got hacked, if they prove that his IP matches as the same from before they won't give him back the money dude. Also if he use proxy it can be easily revealed that he is under proxy protection.

The buyer or hacker can use a local IP address that's not their own and easily fake this.

But there's a much bigger problem. PayPal might be on your side, but the credit card issuer usually is not. I've heard many stories where PayPal ruled in favor of seller just to have it overturned by credit card issuer. They are very superficial investigations. Although you haven't run into a sophisticated scammer, they are out there. You seem like you know what you're doing so you might be fine. But there are lot of sellers where it's easier to tell them to stay away from PayPal and save them the heartache. And when BTC hits $1000, the scams would be even more sophisticated.

I was doing this and I never had problems so far .. but depends, yeah as you said I truly agree with you but with this there are more chances to get the chargedback money as of in your favor.
You still don't get the point? Claim a unauthorized access will chargeback the money in 100%. No doubts. No more chance. Nothing. The buyer will get his paypal money back. And there is nothing what you can do.

Dude, I am a PayPal user for about 8 years and it's not the same if you contact them via phone and contact them via email. Most of the cases they will understand you easily via phone instead on email. You need to be polite with them and they always solve the problems. I know everyone have their own opinions. I am just using this method so this was my opinion, don't take too personal. Anyway have a good day sir !

That doesn't work. You can still claim unauthorized payment. Just because you can't reopen a dispute on PayPal doesn't mean they can't chargeback.

Not only that but PayPal keeps track of how many disputes are open against you. You can get your account closed this way if you do it too many times.

I was doing this and I never had problems so far .. but depends, yeah as you said I truly agree with you but with this there are more chances to get the chargedback money as of in your favor.
