Ah...i just did what was suggested..

setgenerate true 25

Now the CPU is maxing at 100%.

Next Noob Question ^^" :

Can maxing the CPU do damage to the computer....if u leave it like that for a certain time period, for example?

(sorry...this should be the last noob question ^^"")

Um.. I googled to find out how many threads this laptop has..

Is that what i should set "genproclimit" to?

That "Thread" count in the picture looks too high(from a noob pov)...and its changing alot..

I dont think im looking at the right one? ^^"""

I've been running the miner for a little over a day and haven't had any issues with it crashing or stopping mining. Found two blocks within that time so seems to be working well.

Set up a BibblePay Classic now   Cool.
You will say it's true BibblePay without scammy hardforks and mandatory updates, it's immutable 'the code is the law'.

Joking, but it would be quite funny  Tongue.

It is getting impossible to mine this. It is getting to the point of becoming really expensive if you want a chance to get a block. Any ideas of a price to see if it is worthwhile to mine at this diff?

Anyone selling?

Have just installed the windows wallet.  Pretty straight forward process.  Took about an hour to sync the network.  I have my Genproclimit=5 and still getting around 9000 H/ps  (AMD A8 Laptop)
Will Try installing on my ubuntu machine next and see how hard it is to get running.
Overall, this looks like an interesting coin.

No sync. In general, the wallet has stopped seeing the net. No network. What's happening?

Update. Strangely enough, but the purse suddenly synchronized. In general, because of such instabilities, and frequent jams on any block, sometimes I'm afraid to transfer coins from my wallet to my wallet. Or do not worry?

Is this coins really ASIC and GPUs proof?  I have check the code a bit and it looks like its simply using a different X11 algo, compared to other coins.    Im no expert but this doesn't look very hard to create a GPU miner for this, i might be wrong thou...
Would it be easy for you to port the AES512 encryption library and its functions into a GPU and make it call various bible verses in a certain order?  That is the basic answer.  Most of the C++ developers who attempt to write a program for the GPU realize that the libs have to be downgraded to plain old C, and they stop there.  The ASIC would be a little harder, as then you would have to pay someone in another country to burn an eprom with the bible on it and develop a custom program.

We do have plans to raise the bar, by making the hash check a transaction in the chain (around the time we make a pool).

The miner code looks like :
Code:
uint256 hash = BibleHash(pblock->GetHash(),pblock->GetBlockTime(),pindexPrev->nTime,true,pindexPrev->nHeight);

GetHash() performs a normal X11 hash function on the block header. That's used as input for the BibleHash algorithm, which you can take a look at in the kjv.cpp file.

As far as whether or not BibleHash is truly ASIC/GPU resistant, I have no idea. It's a fairly large blob of data it's referencing, so at the very least there'll be memory bandwidth bottlenecks.

Is it possible to configure the wallet to begin mining on launch?

Does this mean I found a block?

It'll be listed under pending when you find a block, then eventually move into balance after 12 hours or so. You can also open the debug menu and type getwalletinfo, newly mined block rewards will be listed under immature_balance.

I mined 40,000 BBP on my MacBook Pro right after it launched.

Unfortunately I stopped mining due to the difficulty now

My hope is to have 888,888 BBP
