Yes I am also waiting for that, where some of the increases will come before it continues. But how long will it be postponed? here I am really behind information.

It is not a wise decision to get into confusion without any announcement from them, it is not an easy process but we need to wait until they give some specific updates about their progress. The market situation is fluctuating from the beginning of the last year and we shouldn't bother about the price decreases.

We are all hoping for the best of ETH,. but it has been postponed, and then maybe it could be a big move for ETH to soar and stabilize the price i believe, and i hope so.

Just pray it doesnt create a panic since is pushed back due to the ETH vulnerable update Devs should make sure this goes as sublime as possible You dont want to hear some scandal or hacks due to the Upgrade Fork am sure

Since the postponement of the hardforks, I have a feeling Ethereum may be losing its appeal in the space and make those Anti-Ethereum sentiments to grow and when you look at some of the competing platforms especially RSK which is compactible with Ethereum, Ethereum may start to lose out to competitors

It is not just a normal update.

See it was delayed because of some problems that threatens the network. We can see the upgrade somewhere around February or if there's another problem, we'll see it stop again.

I'm actually surprised to see that ETH did NOT pump because of this hard fork. The actual changes are not impressive, but previously as long as there's the work FORK in the news article, green candles were certain. I actually think this market might have matured, and that's a great thing. Grin

the price of major coins is not moving significantly because Bitcoin has 51% of market control besides the cryptocurrency market is still in the bear season. On CMC data the results obtained by ETH are still -10% (7d) so we need to wait after hardfork, because the price momentum after hardfork can be +45%.

that's what we saw, until now Ethereum is very difficult to grow again and again raise prices, and whether investors have started to hesitate to re-buy and invest in Ethereum, many people are impatient waiting for the increase and some of them have sold Ethereum they have held for a long time, and many of them have switched to buying other coins that they think the coins will have a better development than Etherem, but I still really hope this Ethereum will grow even higher, because I still hold it, and I wait for the increase the will occur again.

I still remember when someone in this forum said to sell ETH before hardfork happened, maybe the prediction he made was right.

It seems that there is no significant change in the price of ETH, it can even be said to be the same when hardfork has not happened.

Investors only look at current market conditions, besides that ETH only updates their systems and no coins are produced. At least that is a reason that ETH prices have not changed.

You should be know that it has postponed to January 19 and there is no connection of big move because this is a system upgrade in ethereum blockchain. It was PoW only coin but now it will implement PoS too which means you can get rewards by staking.

It's for the future and not now. The next hardfork wil try to implement a part of POS update just like put difficulty bomb delay and that's it. But the decrease of inflation in the ethereum supply will give an impact to the price of ethereum. inflation has become the main problem in the POW.

It's pretty scary for me, for a really really big coin or project, to discover such a huge flaw in their code only 1 and a half days before a hard fork. And only the devs realized this, not others. That's scary for me. And what's more this hard fork has to happen every now and then, so what if, what if there are new flaws discovered later on?

Ether won't die and eventually will recover and maybe even rise, but its growth will be severely affected if this always continues.

its gonna be the same situation for sure after the fork. Because it's seems ETH still have no stable progress and always fluctuate which perhaps this is just temporary pump in my opinion , maybe there's a good wave on it but probably soon when bitcoin stabilize along with other alts.

Seriously nothing to my expectations has happened and this seems to be the most silence hardfork that has happened over a long period of time. Many people said that this hardfork is going to push ethereum above $500 on twitter and telegram but we are having stagnant price right now and everything seems bearish than bullish. My expectation was that from 14 to 19 of this month ethereum should have performed very well and at list be above $200 but that has not been achieved and it even fall from $150 to $120.
However, the hardfork has been postponed and the news should have pushed ethereum price upwards than were it is right now.

As far as a I know, Eth hard fork have postponed and there is no date announced for its continual.
Even hard fork happen but still it won't affect for the price trend, it is an update that could give a smooth and fast transactions. There is no need to be worried for that.

A lot of people maybe already know if this fork is only like maintenance because if it will split for a new coin again, i think people will start buy it and hold a lot of ETH. Maybe this is why it's price not really increased like other forks.

First purpose of the hardfork are upgrading technology and then second are to create new trust in investors so the prices are expected to rise sharply, the second things seems failed so hardfork is postponed
