Acceptance of bitcoin from big merchants around the globe gets added making the big list widening the market for big number of common users to use it in such a way same as the traditional fiat. Some form of issue with confirmation still exists, but in most cases this being overcome only through trust. Hope something better makes bitcoin even more easily accessible with lesser transaction fees.
Merchants now accepting Bitcoins is part of marketing strategy to be on top of the competition. More important generate more revenue by tapping other form of online payment which Bitcoin can't be left out. Bitcoins will in no time be embedded into any online platform as a means of payment.
This development on bitcoin payments might be due to the upward trend of bitcoin price this year. I don't think the influence of the price of bitcoin. so far before the increase in bitcoin there have been several countries that accept bitcoin as payment and this so far will continue to grow and there will be many users using bitcoin including big merchants in the world.

while there is progress with the Lightning networks , bitcoin is very far from to be able to serve as a payment gateaway
simply because it won't be able to handle the number of transactions and LN nodes are few ... and far in between
but this is the goal to achieve and we should take a step at a time
more merchants means highr prices and more awareness and adoption and from there starts the interest of the big players
they just do not want to miss out on yet another way to accept money from customers and would not want to miss out on introducing bitcoin asa payment before their competitors do
At least, that is good news for crypto users, and more merchants will follow their step. Besides that, that will help bitcoin to be approved in many businesses and people will know about bitcoin. The more people know about bitcoin, the more bitcoin will get popular among them, and that will help the adoption process too. Too bad none of the major travel sites accept Bitcoin. The Expedia bitcoin trial period ended rather quickly.

Wow. This is an open door for new possibilities ahead. Just hope that Bitcoin will strengthen its liability and security to ensure that it will be an advantage for all. Paying your goods or product via digital currency is more safe than through fiat as medium of exchange. The holdapers are anywhere, but this can happen to bitcoin also. Some of the markets on the list also exists in the country but not accepting bitcoin as payment. The situation will be differ depending on the country's bitcoin status. Lucky for those who already have because they enjoy the perks of having bitcoin in full time. We still waiting for our country's turn.

Its a good news that we heard today Big merchants are already accept bitcoin, because this is we are thinking to happen even before, and finally its been fullfilled. Its show that bitcoin is very useful in terms of payments, we just hoping that in the next days more merchants will start also to accept bitcoin, and its really appropriate in those merchants.
I dont know of any yet in my area but there might be manynoit there accepting the coins if they are in to crypto too and believe it is future .
But some big company that I learnt accepting btc like eBay and amazon are denies that they do so am not too sure if the news are real as anyone can just post to see what the reaction of market will be and that doesn't help crypto in any way , all we need is true and transparent and there we go higher.

the acceptance of bitcoin begin with someone at a time, and it will surely be from those who have an understanding of the value of bitcoin. this is actually a welcomed development.which will help cryptocurrency move round the world more quickly. internet organisations are not expected to have accepting bitcoin as a big issue.
