Maybe creating some sort of activities which can create an engagement to the site itself like running a referral contest which gives a rewards to the person who got more sign ups on the site and I think more good(But this is just a suggestion only) Cheesy.
Good idea, maybe when the exchange feature ready, this promotion can be done to attract many users using the wallet and exchange, but as far as I know currently Bitamp does not have a referral feature.

I think it would be beneficial for Bitamp to run some video or written review contest or bounty. There are several examples in the Services section of how other companies have done this.
Or you might just ask your bounty manager, Hhampuz, to give you some suggestions.
Creative idea and Hhampuz has video managements for Roobet company. Video, avatar, content contests for further promotion to expand the Bitamp customers.

I dont see any lacking steps on here when it comes to marketing. Running a signature campaign alone will really be that enough but if they do still have some budget left then it isnt
bad to consider on adding up more but this will be better if it will be put up in social media campaign.
The more the better and people have more preference on videos and they feel more easily to learn things from step-by-step guides with videos. Not yet mention about the more traffics to Bitamp website from the Video Tutorial Centre.

Agreed and thanks for the ideas, guys. As mentioned before, all these are marketing activities that need money, and it's got to be a good ROI to be able to embark on such things, not to mention capital. Roobet has a different business model, as does Bitamp. You can imagine it's very different:)

Right because roobet is much successful business and they can afford to throw more money in their marketing aspects and I think its not really needed to create any of those right now since, Its kinda waste of money to throw on that kind of promotion where they can pay a small amount to those people who can create those video tutorial. I know but without the Video contest, Bitamp team can create the team-built videos for basic tutorials to use Bitamp wallet. It can make difference in the adoption of the wallet and the more easily and friendly a video watchers feel about Bitamp wallet, you will get more users.

Videos need to be short, not too long, not longer than 3 to 5 minutes. The Video Tutorial Channel will need many short videos.

Cheers and Merry Christmas to the Bitamp team.

As user Droomie above just points out, login is just a user-friendly way to tell people, this is how you login.

Instead of a username and password (which then connects to a centralized database on most other central services), you're simply entering your private keys or seeds. You can even "login" offline:)
Could you consider a series of video tutorials for Bitamp users, please.

I know there are simple things but people are different and newbies always have their troubles (newbie troubles) with simple steps and issues. The elderly will have their big troubles to use computers and obviously if they are using a first bitcoin wallet. Tutorial videos can be published on the Bitamp website or on Youtube (if you want to use Youtube).  Lips sealed

I'm a bit confused here and I need some info probably from those that have already give this wallet a try, on OP it says that you create a new wallet and login, if the wallet is fully decentralized why do users need to login? If I don't read the whole info I won't know that this wallet gives users access to their private keys or recovery seeds, so what am I missing here?

If you are familiar with myetherwallet you will not be confusing here. Login means you have to put a seed, private key, or Keystore file to access the wallet, not an email or phone number.

go to account info to know your seed and go to tab address to know your private key (click key symbol)

Good to know then, thanks for the heads up as I believe these two additions will raise the overall confidence towards the wallet.
When bitcoin is under heavy usage like these days, there are always some window opportunities to send some cheap transactions too (mainly during weekends & holidays). I believe an upgrade like this will bring more users on board.  Smiley
I understand LN requires some more time also because we shouldn't forget that LN itself is in its beta stage.

I know bitamps seeds were compatible with Electrum but I created a walelt together with a friend to show him the whole procedure and I confirm everything was good. From my side, as I've already mentioned before, it would be great to be able to set custom fees (and have LN functionalities).

Among all the things we've definitely flagged to the developers to include as part of next future possible upgrades!

Lightning is definitely being developed, but as you can imagine it's going to take a long time to do, especially for a web wallet! It's already got a placeholder so you know it's coming;)

Yes, not only Electrum but also more online wallet like bitcoin core, mycelium seeds even your hardware wallets seeds are working on Bitamp. Lightning Network function is on underdevelopment phase, hope it will be functional so soon. Now I'm too much interested to know how exchange feature will work on Bitamp, It will be amazing if we able to exchange our coin with any stable coin, then we won't have to be bothered about market crush.

Blockchain.com still has this functionality (it's just a little more difficult to find).

I agree that any wallet, if there is ownership of private keys, should have the option of signing messages. This is sometimes required to prove ownership of a specific address.
I hope this is also one of the priorities of Bitamp developers. Wink

We'll definitely pass it on to developers, agree it's a very useful and underused feature of security (probably why Blockchain.com doesn't even make it easy to find these days!). Thanks for the feedback guys!
Please send a request to developer team that the feature to Sign and Verify message is raised by the community. If the developers make a feature to sign a message, please build up a feature to verify a message too.

Bitamp wallet provides three types of address so the feature to sign and verify message from Segwit address is possible. Some wallets fail to verify message that is sign from Segwit address. The topic How to verify SegWit signature with Brainwallet ? can help the team.

Bitamp can you think of adding option to sign a message from Bitamp wallet?
This option exists for Electrum wallet, and blockchain.com had this option before but I don't know any online wallet with this function.

Yeah, this is a good option to add, not priority but a nice to have to be included later. It is very important for us to prove that you own the private keys, as the saying goes, 'not your keys, not your coins'. Although there's a lot of site that we can use to verify message, but having this on bitamp is a win-win situation for your users.
