I check the social media that comes into my mind, Youtube and found just two videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2q-UoKKXqI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9Eh-1ZAEjQ

Although I saw some banner in coinmarketcap, Bitamp and the team really need to ramp up their marketing if they wanted to get more exposure and be on top. Although the project is still less than a year old, but maybe we need to more exposure in other social media sites as well.

Marketing costs money, as I'm sure you know. It's not that the project is averse to spending money, but startups need to be wiser about marketing and not just spend limited resources.

We'd rather organic users like you guys hopefully use our wallets more and more, and talk about it more and more, and like it more and more so you start recommending it to people.

Thanks for your feedback though guys!
Yes, I understand where you coming from, you are working on a limited budget so it make sense. Perhaps I was looking for an aggressive strategy.

I like the idea of being organic and really crypto users find the wallet useful to their liking and fits their need.

New user of bitamp wallet here and have a quick question aside from web wallet is there any app available? I search it on google playstore but I can't find it. Also I find the exchange is in development hopefully xrp and USDT will be added since this is more adopted by the traders.

Anyways I love the site so far  since look good to my eyes.

AFAIK, there still no mobile apps of this wallet available on playstore or in there official website. I'm waiting too on there mobile a so that I can finally replace my electrum wallet with there official mobile app. I really like the simplicity and easy to use of there Web wallet, I hope that they can do it the same on there mobile apps soon.

Can't wait. I hope that Bitamp support will read and answer our request. Cheesy

Oh that's why there's no result  showing when I try to search it on playstore but hopefully bitamp devs will create this since this is the most convenient for us and wallet app is more handy and so useful especially if we are out and away on our computer.

Hopefully our request will be granted  Cheesy.

Not necessarily. Marketing doesn't have to cost you thousands of dollars or blow your budget. Take this forum thread, for example, marketing can require nothing more than investing some of your time.

We'd rather organic users like you guys hopefully use our wallets more and more, and talk about it more and more, and like it more and more so you start recommending it to people.

Yeah, and that's a good strategy. But did you consider further enhancing your presence here?
Some ideas that spring to mind: run a contest, stimulate more user-generated content, create a referral program...

I agree with this one where marketing isnt really just trying to spread out without any setting of plans on how to make it effective.

A bit late on discovering up this wallet but i would tend to make use of this one and will give out my feedbacks later on.

Good luck into this project and hope it will last for a while..

Almost everyone has cellular so I think this is a lot of demand for mobile applications that should be available immediately because it has become their convenience when using it, I know this is very wallet-friendly at Bitamp even I feel it on computers and mobile accessing the website. there is no problem at all.
So, Bitamp is a new storage area and continues to carry out promotions to attract many people to use it, including I am happy that there is an environmentally friendly Bitamp wallet in my opinion.
Whatever it is wallet in the selaler version must still be there.

Okay, it's clear that you're struggling with English and using machine translation software for your posts. But please try to be concise, because what you've written doesn't make any sense. Otherwise, people will start reporting your posts to moderators as spam.

Friendly suggestion, try to use a shorter sentence and punctuation. That way, after translating into English, you are less likely to lose meaning.

Is it worth investing in crypto in 2020?

You’ve really got to make your mind up on your own. But my advice: invest in something you believe in, you support, you understand and most of all, you use.

If you’re buying crypto just to stock up, don’t be disappointed if prices don’t go your way. But if you’re buying it to use and learn it, you’ll soon find that price isn’t as important as potential!

Do you guys agree?

I am saying the same thing, just investment is not enough! If you really believe in something you should support it, and you do that by using it and spreading the word around. It's how we came to this point, it's 2020 and crypto is stronger than ever before!

I have suggestion for Bitamp team to be more active in social media platforms and maybe create youtube channel with some video, explanations and promotion.
That will help everyone including newbies and more people will hear about it.
Also add dark theme for Bitamp wallet.

I agree, I'm only seeing that they have only one social media account which is Twitter and it is not active today. Social media today is one of the best way to promote a product and there are good times to promote it as well. You can take advantage of the recent bitcoin bull run and promote the wallet into social media, I'm pretty sure that some strangers would develop a curiosity and could probably take the chance of using bitamp wallet.

I think being active on social medias is very important for every crypto service! Explanations and tutorials, promotions and giveaways, maybe some events (for bitamp wallet users), are just some ways to make people more interested! Of course, you need to be consistent, doing it now and then will not give good results!

Yes, I do agree that most of us here still uses Electrum, but Bitamp could be a good alternative if they have a friendly mobile app that we can carry with us any time.

In terms of convenience, the mobile app is not necessary as accessing it thru our mobile browser is user-friendly.

Just did a quick browse at the wallet's interface on my mobile's stock browser and it's smooth.

Next will be, using the wallet for its purpose.
I disagree though, there are crypto users who prefer to used their mobile apps for everything related to their crypto activity, that's why Binance has it's own mobile version, even coins.ph (Philippine local exchange) has it's own mobile.

Besides, it's a good gauge how 'many' are using your apps with the amount of downloads you got, might not be an accurate picture, but still you know that someone is using your apps.

In any case, we will just have to wait for Bitamp developers as it is in their roadmap if I'm not mistaken.

I agree with that. There are many advantages of mobile apps over responsive web applications.

In general, mobile applications are faster. The web application uses JavaScript to run functions, while native apps run on frameworks that can be several times faster. Mobile apps have the ability to work online and offline. Although wallet apps need an active internet connection to handle tasks such as transactions and notifications, they still offer basic functionality even in offline mode. Mobile apps can utilize various features of a native device. For example, use a camera that can scan QR and Bar codes, use NFC for payments, fingerprint scanner, etc. Not to mention how mobile apps make it easy to cater personalized user experiences.

If you guys are actually open source and your project has an MIT license, why do you contact domain registrars claiming sites that are hosting an exact, unmodified copy of your source code, are phishing sites? Also, why aren't any of your PHP files used in the MIT licensed HTML/CSS/JS included in the project for review?

GoDaddy recently suspended one of my domains for hosting an exact copy of your MIT licensed project, which existed for over 6 months. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, GoDaddy claimed you contacted them stating the domain was a phishing site. Why did you license under MIT if you don't want anyone to copy it?

All I want to know is if you in fact contacted GoDaddy first or if they are liars.

1. Based on the fact that it is positioned as a wallet on the client side - is it possible to work in an offline browser? I didn't succeed, or tell me how to achieve this
Not possible. What purpose?  is for to create an offline wallet?.

I talked much on pages 1 and 2 of this thread. Bitamp uses BIP 39 mnemonic seed, you can use https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ to create an offline wallet and using bitamp wallet to create transactions.

Thanks for the answer, I was only interested because of the wording "client-side wallet", I thought that you can sign transactions offline and then, going online, send them.
And on the second question there is no information - about the audit of the source code? Having such an audit would be very positive for the project

Well, I'm also waiting for the mobile application, what if it's available, maybe a lot of people will switch from other wallets to Bitamp.

That shouldn't be the main reason.

The fact that this "web wallet" is an open-source and they give users complete control of their keys and seeds is already a big reason why people should consider using Bitamp which we can't see in other web wallets.

Honestly, I currently still use the Electrum wallet in bitcoin transactions, but if Bitamp has made its application provision then I will move this will make it easier for me where I can transact anywhere with the Bitamp application.
Let us continue to support so that developers are faster in providing their applications.

I would say that development is really quick since Bitamp has started, and another thing is that they've listen to their clients in this community. So no doubt that sooner we will hear the official mobile apps of Bitamp going into test mode and finally into production and final release.

@btcsmlcmnr - here is the answer for the creation of offline wallet.

Actually, yes you can. A lot of complicated ways to strip the code but you can even just store this page offline if you want: https://wallet.bitamp.com/#/create.html

It'll still generate a new seed for you every time you click, without being connected to the internet. This is all client side, you never transmit it across the internet;)

Thank you but it is for technical guy that I am not. I will wait for its official release and try to get my experience with Bitamp Exchange feature.

you can use Bitamp offline (since it's a client side wallet) but you will need to be online to broadcast transactions.

Try it, just save a local file for bitamp wallet creation and you can still create your wallet offline.
Do you have a guide for the offline wallet creation process? If you have it, can you share me a link to read and I will practice steps to create a wallet offline. I only found this article on your blog https://blog.bitamp.com/how-to-create-your-own-bitcoin-wallet/
