We are now live on Upbit https://upbit.com/exchange?code=CRIX.UPBIT.BTC-BAY
And will go live on their fiat gateway soon https://upbit.com/exchange?code=CRIX.UPBIT.KRW-BAY

What did it take to get on there?  Shocked

Did they charge BAY a small fortune, or what?

No charge at all. They just added us Smiley

c-cex listing bitbay for delisting.

Always worth keeping exchanges live. Best to up the trading there if we want to keep it as another exchange.

Thx for the notice. In the recent bear market volume has dropped a lot. Lets hope the community shows their support to BitBay by trading a little Bay on C-Cex until it picks up again.

even small exchanges are charging 20k + for a listing so worth keeping it on c-cex if we can.

Doubt there will be enough volume to sustain it at this point.  As long as we keep bittrex then i'm not worried.  I didn't think pushing for the smaller exchanges was a good idea anyway given the state of the marketing.

BitBay User Sells 5 Acres of Land Using Smart Contracts

https://themerkle.com/bitbay-user-sells-5-acres-of-land-using-smart-contracts-and-decentralized-marketplace/

Smart contracts have become incredibly popular over the past year or two. While most people associate these with Ethereum, other platforms and currencies utilize similar technology. One individual recently used BitBay’s trustless smart contracts to sell a few acres of land. It was a very risky venture, but things turned out just fine.

Great to see bitbay`s features used in real life, more and more..

a hash puzzle if/else transaction in bitbay useful for atomic trades and switches
Although this one isn't actually a script I'm going to be using, it would be our first hash puzzle.

Can you explain a bit more what you mean here david? cheers

It's funny that he says it's risky but doesn't explain why. At no time could the seller or buyer back out of the deal without agreeing.

In fact, this was less risky than normal escrow! This deal would have been impossible without BitBay. How can a person in Europe buy land in California without an escrow? This is like the only way to do that. He sort of down plays the significance of this. Although its great coverage nonetheless.  Cool

Thanks for posting this!

Hi guys, in the roadmap a Blockchain Fork (stake reward fix) is mentioned to happen in november. Can someone explain what this means? I'm planning to invest in BitBay but i'm not sure about this fork and how it will affect the price.

the reward fix will make stakers get bigger rewards.
So normally it should pump, also there's a website redesign, exotic spending feature release and web wallet release.
Gonna be a great month (if Bitcoin could shill out a little it ould be perfect though)

just an update: i once started to correct a translation of the wallet. i did not found the time to finish it. sorry guys. i had to deal with other things.

That was the german translation?

yes. i will finish it. or if you are going to release a new wallet soon then would be better if i could do i before the release. it is not easy to work with the tool inside the wallet.

New release is Nov 1st, so kind of urgent if we are to get it into this release.

you don't have a textfile or something like this that can be used for the translation. and something that show where the text in wallet will be placed. the context is important for translations.

i love how you came full circle David. Aaron is real conscious, smart dude and i respect that there was understanding there hats down too the both of you i will be starting my BAY Bag now

Yeah he's cool. I think there was just a misunderstanding. Also on my part, mainly because when offers are sent to the market we allow users to accept them directly. So thus inputs need to be tied up. But in theory I could check the balance to see at least there are funds, not tie up inputs and force all offers to come in as bids the exact same way I do with price tracking. When I gave more thought to what he said I realized for sellers who have lots of items like a massive inventory but only average volume, they would need a feature like that. There is a difference in my code from bids/counters to direct acceptance so that why. It would be a new feature though so I just added it to my notes.

Anyways, hopefully he comes back I sent him a message but no response yet.
i am glad anew feature!!! will come out of the dialogue and i do hope he comes back too its clear progress is being made and as in any relationship commucation or lack off can make or break ppl
