By the way, I signed in with google and I couldn't find settings where I can set up my 2FA. Help...

Hi mu_enrico,

Here's short guidance:
1. Log in to your Bitcasino account and then click on your username top right.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Scan the QR code with your smartphone before opening up the Google Authenticator app on your device.
4. Click the + button, and then you can add your Bitcasino account to your menu.

Cheers,
Karl

At the end of the day 2FA is the only thing you can be assured to not get hacked that easily. Your sms can be stolen, your phone can be even stolen, your email can be hacked, your account username and password can be hacked. All of those things are some what easy or hard but acquirable by the hackers, if they really think you have enough money to worth their time, they could hack it to get your money.

But when we are talking about 2FA, suddenly it goes to a whole new level, the only thing they could do is to hope that they can disable your 2FA and that is the only way to get in when someone has 2FA, you can't just hack 2FA because it is their account and it is on their phone and only they have connection to it. One logical explanation would be to get your phone stolen AND your password stolen at the same time while you do not even realize that your phone is stolen and not disable it, which would be super rare and not really a hack to begin with.

Please read our blog article about it: What is 2FA & why is it so important?
It is my appreciation for your article. Some newbies in crypto don't know how to secure their accounts, on exchanges and casinos. They simply set up 2FA by SMS code which is terrible because of many threats on SIM cards.

Some people set up 2FA by using apps but don't back up secret code and don't test backup's validity.

There will always be some people who are not super careful and whenever they get their money stolen (or even when they just lose money) they will claim everything on others and never get any blame to themselves. Guys, one thing is for certain, in hacking, in scam, in anything bad there is some part of your fault as well.

If you are careful enough and secure your money enough, you will not be getting any trouble at all. Which is why I think people who have weak passwords should be forced to change it, people who do not have 2fa should be forced to have one and people who login from 2 different IP back to back should not be allowed to login on the second IP. You need to be as careful as you can as a casino because gamblers themselves will not be able to protect themselves and sometimes are idiots, so you need to do it for them.

Hey man, sorry I didn't reply earlier but Sportsbet.io recently held a poker tournament where everyone who competed earned a free shirt. They’re great with giveaways, so generous, a real pillar of the community here.

Hey LFC, no problem I also missed your reply until I scrolled up a bit with all these other you-know-who people spamming the thread.

I don't know any team in EPL who gives out their jerseys so generously, not to mention any other sportsbook that is so in touch with its people, who are actually football lovers. Really hoping to see yellow and black sting in the league again next season:)

Wouldn't surprise me if this was just the casino's ''fraud-bot'' draining useraccounts with scripts for the day hehehe

So how is it there are loads of other players who can play at all these sites who never get these "fraud bots" draining user accounts? Including players who do not affiliate themselves with this casino? If there was such a thing, why have they not been found/exposed by those companies like Chainalysis?

a bit upset with bitcasino..

i've lost at least $1000 to this casino over the past couple weeks.    Over the weekend, I get an email saying that they suspect suspicious activity with a login from a new device in sweden.  I didn't see this email.   later that day my account balance is drained to two separate bitcoin addresses.   it was about 15 mbtc.   also,  I didn't have 2fa set up (dumb, I know) .. but NOW google authenticator is setup by these scammers and i'm completely locked out of my account.

I send a note to [email protected].  they finally get back to me after a couple days saying they don't find anything suspicious.

So..

1)  I would like them to refund my money..  --- i know this is reaching and understand that this probably won't happen..  BUT if they did, i'm sure i'd lose it and more eventually, so they would win.. but whatever. . I understand they're not responsible for me not having my account locked down correctly.  BUT a gent can ask, right?  :-)

2) I would like them to unlock my account so I can play..

i mean they send me an email suspecting suspicious activity,  then they say they don't see any suspicious activity?     I love this casino..  it's just a shame..

thanks for letting me vent.

The given article on top stable coins is very informative. There are some stable coins (PAX, ie.) that I did not know if I don't read the article. Thanks for composing it.

After USDT appearance on ERC20 and TRC20, the total USDT on ERC20 is dominated the total supply of Tether USD. It is easily understandable because of the fast transaction speed and cheap transaction fees (except lately skyrocket of fees on Ethereum network weeks ago).

Tether Supply Growth is Slowing

Since the beginning of the coronavirus-related lockdowns, Tether supply growth has been extremely strong. Here we show Tether’s free float supply, a measure of supply that represents the amount of supply freely available for purchase by investors. Notably, it excludes Tether that has been issued but not yet released. This year, a fairly steady rate of growth brought total Tether free float supply from around 5 billion units to 9 billion units. In just the past few weeks, however, Tether supply growth has slowed considerably, although it is still positive.

Source: Coin Metrics Network Data Pro

Although the assumption that Tether is fully backed by fiat currency is tenuous and not fully proven, one interpretation of Tether supply growth is that it represents new capital inflows into the space. The common narrative is that Tether is printed, sent to exchanges, and then used to purchase Bitcoin or other cryptoassets. Here we plot one-month Bitcoin price growth with one-month Tether supply growth to examine the connection. Recent data points to a tight correlation between the two time series. As Tether supply growth has slowed, Bitcoin’s price growth has also attenuated.

Oh come on, you’ve obviously been trying to cheat the system. Why would a massively successful casino bother trying to cheat one guy out of a non-significant (for them) amount of money? Why would they risk their good reputation, simple answer is they wouldn’t.

You got caught cheating, deal with it.

Simple example,
If a investment firm accuses a trader of insider trading (which he didnt commit) no one will believe the trader and everyone will say the same you just said, 'Why would a big investment firm cheat you for an amount that isnt significant for them, you just simply took advantage and thats it'' but when the investment firm starts making the same accusation to multiple users here and there spread over a period of years nothing changes, the same statement as above will still apply.

When the investment firm gets busted as a ponzi-scheme only then people wil reconsider their thoughts about the first traders who made the statements..

This is the same with bitcasino
Scamming 1 person for 3 btc is nothing for a 5 figure revenue btc firm, but scamming 200-300 people for 1-10 btc is a big chunk of FREE PROFIT considering the fact that most people don't file any complaints or only try to work it out with the casino itself.

however, those who DO really go as far to going to curacao and taking a curacao based lawyer/lawspecialist and taking them to court/civil court are most likely to win HOWEVER we ''the people''  will NEVER KNOW what happened in that court.

Who says there werent multiple court hearing accusing bitcasino for the same thing??
