They were duplicated to all the old holders. Everybody who has the old BTD (provided that the old coins were in an exact address at the time of the SNAPSHOT) can do the hardcoded swap (if they can get the old BTD wallet to sync)
Okay thanks that's what i wanted to know.
I can confirm. I got exactly the same amount as I had before the swap and I didn't have to do anything but import my wallet.dat and rebuild it, and of course resync.
My only regret is not listening to John when he told us to withdraw coins from Yobit. I left some there and ended up selling them for significantly less than I would have made if I moved them. Hopefully, one day Yobit will give us our addresses on the BTDX chain and I'll get those coins back.
Plus side, I was able to deposit and sold all of my BTD holdings on Yobit after the swap and made some extra from that. lol. Still, it's less than I would have made if I transferred those coins to CoinExchange. This isn't the first time either.
