rpcuser=RANDOMUSERNAME
rpcpassword=RANDOMPASSWORD
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=yourkey
masternodeaddr=externalip:8329
server=1
listen=1

for a local masternode...you don't need masternode.conf

what errors are you getting?

I want only to setup a local windows wallet masternode. The guide is confuse to do it. Not clear what exactly to type at wallet conf and MASTERNODE conf.
Plase can somebody help me. I've been trying, attempting it for hours without success.

Ok thanks for waiting for the confirmation from the dev , any idea why the wallet does not sync? i have 17 active nodes.....and no working blokcs.....

Hi All,

I'm trying to install the wallet on a VPS (Ubuntu 16.04) for a MN but I'm running into a problem when I run ./autogen.sh

This is the output:

Can't exec "aclocal": No such file or directory at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 326.
autoreconf: failed to run aclocal: No such file or directory

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I know the guides all say to do it on Ubuntu 14.04 but I tried that and got the same.

EDIT:

After a bit of googling it looks like I had to install automake to get it working.

Code:

sudo apt install automake

the ./autogen.sh and ./configure run ok and it's now running make.

EDIT 2:

The wallet is now up and running Grin

, I hope this helps someone else who might encounter the same problem.

I've been reading up on this, and it seems like you need a different ip for each masternode. Although, it's weird, I see multiple masternodes running with the same ip. Maybe someone can shed some light into this.
