They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?

For me, if bitcoin would become our future currency, in which there's a big possibility that this would happen in the future. There would be a positive and negative impact. The positive side of using bitcoin as our money is that it is convenient to use since it is just like using a bank card. On the other hand, the negative side of using bitcoin is that it is not stable, sometimes it fluctuates, sometimes it's stable.
I also thought that bitcoin could be our future money too but cannot replace the current Fiat's that exists in each of every country. Even though it can't replace Fiat's as a major money matter it could be also a one of the moods of payment worldwidely. But of course if it would happen in the future this could be a good indication for bitcoin.

ah, i never imagine bitcoin as payment. just follow bitcoin live, if it can be use for buying some food or other stuff in my country i will use it. if no, maybe just use for trading. because in my country bitcoin still reject as payment.
for all country, maybe bitcoin cant replace regular money, but it can side of money
In almost all countries of the bitcoin not accepted as payment in stores. I think that won't happen for a long time. It seems to me that the States will never dare to recognize bitcoin as a legal means of payment in stores. But it can be exchanged for national currencies. For this state will take some interest in the form of a tax. Everything else will remain as it is now.

Since bitcoin can only be accessed through computer and other devices, I think bitcoin can only be used in online shoppings. Also, its a digital currency thats why we can only use it through our devices and also having a stable internet connection. In the future, more people will use it as a currency that will make it more famous to other people.

I think that this is positive, because it is more convenient to have all of your funds on one well-protected wallet, pay off anywhere in the world and in any store one currency is also very convenient.

It is slower to arrive than most enthusiasts think. Even a year later, if I tried to live only on Bitcoin for more than a week, I’d either be very hungry or very bored with my meal options.

Maybe not now because as we all know that the price of bitcoin is volatile and it changes every second so to give you an situation and brief explanation, how about you go to a store and you buy something, you are in line in the cashier you are next in line and the price of bitcoin you have is just exact for the price of the shirt then suddenly the bitcoin price goes down, you will end up, not having those clothes. If bitcoin somehow make something about this then it will be perfect to use it as a money.

Having Bitcoin as our money will be complicated especially its price is not stable. It could be a disadvantage but an advantage also at the same time. If we will pay Bitcoin in our transaction, but how will it differ to what we have? Some countries could already pay using their phones. So, I think the unstable value is the difference. We have inflation, but not as big and as low as the change of value in cryptocurrency.

In my view, it is a good thing, you can imagine how easier when you buy something by using bitcoin, so you don't need cash anymore, you don't have to worry about pickpocket, also when you are doing travel to another country, you don't need to change your money in money changer. Everyone can buy anything from another country with low fee and fast. They are some example how easier when we use bitcoin as a money.

I really wish the day will come that bitcoin will be used as a currency anywhere in the world. We can't really tell when that would be happening but I think it won't happen because people find it more profitable if you'll use bitcoin as a store of value just like gold.

Here are some experts thoughts why bitcoin will never be a currency.

Lots of us are asking if bitcoin is really the future of money. Some believe that it is, some don't.
https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-01-17/bitcoin-isn-t-the-future-of-money

I've read an article where in this guy experimented on a specific area where in he only uses bitcoin as a currency to pay for everything. It's a good read, you can check this out. https://www.popsci.com/is-bitcoin-really-future-money

As what I can see with the trend right now, bitcoin is used as a store of value not as a currency but you can still use bitcoin to buy your basic needs as well as pay your bills. Some of the companies or stores are already adopting to this new technology.

You can find the lists of stores that accepts bitcoin in here. https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-01-17/bitcoin-isn-t-the-future-of-money

We can use Bitcoin as alternative money and can be used as mode of exchange like payment of monthly bills such as water, electricity, telephone, insurance and many more that has no/less charge and hassle free. It can really save our time and effort than going to different store and make payment. We can use it to buy food in a participating stores but not all. Also, the value of Bitcoin is increasing drastically so your 1BTC can realy buy so much.

Ofcourse it should be in positive way , if we will buy things with the help of the bitcoin then surely it will be referred as the barter work where that person needed money and you needed that product .
Well now bitcoin is popular at that level where people are finding is much easier to have in use for most of the things .
Currently transaction is fee is very small for bitcoin so probably here I can say that bitcoin as a money can play really a important role in our life and many people are already using it .
Well here I will say that bitcoin to use asset will be more better then as money because sometimes many inputs and single output of the transaction leads into high fee .

There's may be a cause of problem from the transaction because sometimes the internet have a problem. In a real money if you buy a foods or a clothes it's easy to be paid, if bitcoin using as a payment  few minutes before you can confirm that you are paid.

Without lightning network bitcoin is digital gold. When devs implements ln then may be. But now bitcoin is too slow

You must be living in the past, then, because as stated at this website, it will take you somewhere between 30 minutes for your coins to arrive if you have paid a minimum of 21 satoshi/byte. Compared to 2017, that is an impressive amount of time needed to get your transaction confirmed, plus it's cheaper too. Bank wire transfers take at least 3 business days in order to get processed, and if you ask me, that isn't economical nor feasible if I need the money urgently. Bitcoin being used as a currency right now is already okay, but saying that bitcoin is only a store of value without the lightning network is completely off, knowing that the cryptocurrency has existed for 9 years without the said feature and transactions are still being confirmed as expected.
Lightening network is still a long awaited development that will improve transaction to a shorter period. Lets wait to the implementation of the development before we fault it outrightly. At least the low value payment will be taken care of.

It obvious that Cryptocurrency is very much here to stay, the road look slow but gradualy, bitcoin may achieve the purpose it was invented by Satoshi.
The planed cashless society make Bitcoin stand out as a digit currency that would achieve this policy.but a cashless future doesn't necessarily require government-backed digital currency. And while the technology underlying Bitcoin and other such cryptocurrencies will almost certainly have many useful applications, replacing physical cash may be difficult.

Blockchain technology gives Bitcoin two crucial characteristics -- it can be exchanged peer-to-peer without the need for a trusted intermediary, and it lets transactions be anonymous. In both these ways, Bitcoin resembles physical cash. But whereas physical cash is the liability of a government, with a central bank controlling its value, Bitcoin is a liability of nobody.

Only if bitcoin can speed up its transaction speed and lowering the fees, i think it could be happens but it still needs a long time to go i guess.
There's still many people who have no idea what bitcoin is and how to use IoT stuff so the paper money will still exist. Need a long time to educate people about bitcoin and how it works.
