Anybody thought about a bitcoin only exchange for game items such as WoW, Runescape, Final Fantasy and other MMORPGs, etc..?

Thanks

You mean a place to trade MMORPG items for Bitcoin?

Yes. That's what I wanted to say. Haha

That's not an exchange. It's more of a MMORPG marketplace. It would be nice to have one of those. Maybe one day.

I believe that's what https://ogrr.com/ is.

I heard about it here http://www.thebitcointrader.com/search/label/ogrr but have never tried it.

Hi, I currently own and run a website (http://bitcoffers.com/) which allows people to obtain free Bitcoins for completing offers such as filling out surveys. I also act as a Bitcoin consultant, implementing custom payment solutions for websites using Bitcoin.

Is this legit?

Why shouldn't it. there are many sites like this and it's no difference if you get payed with $ or BTC Tongue

I quite like the model that dailybitcoins uses ( http://dailybitcoins.org ). It's simple and let's you get bitcoins (or at least fractions of them) right away. All of the other ones seem difficult to actually get as payout. That's my experience, anyways.

In any case all of those types of models will eventually have to become secondary to the use of bitcoins as a payment currency for actual tangible goods and real services. There is a certain lag there though it seems.

www.BitCoin-Data.com is home for the BitCoinData Program.  It provides BitCoin bar chart historical data files and optional candlestick charts.  You can request up to 12 time frames.  These simple OHLCVol files contain up to 1000 bars of history in each file.  This is easy 15 minute delayed BitCoin data for your own use.  All files are auto updated every 50 seconds.

Hello all.  I work for Best Buy and have brought the idea of Best Buy accepting Bitcoins up to my store director and on the company suggestion forums.  While the higher ups admitted they new nothing of bitcoins they were interested in hearing more about them and asked me to make a presentation to explain bitcoins more and the benefit that Best Buy would receive in accepting them.  I have compiled quite a few advantages but would love to see what other advantages a large retailer would benefit from from some other users.

Looking to start a bit-buisiness for the exchange of mtgox codes in the UK, USA & Australia. My idea is for a two tiered exchange service. 1 will be invite only and the other normal exchange for the UK, USA, RUS & AUS.

I'm looking for expert high quality coders, web designers, graphic designers, to build the site implement API'S and also encryption experts, and security and privacy specialists to help with the project. To get the project off the groun I need 4 buisness partners in USA, UK, RU & AU. So if you live in one of those countries and want to help contact me.

I may have something you'd be interested in.

Myself and some Anons are working on Meme, a data presentation language that allows sharing of structure along with data over Twitter and other claustrophobic spaces. A few Anonymous crews are thinking of evangelizing the idea.

After that a local currency trading network using Bitcoin as the settlement currency.

Meme, once you get it, is quite habit forming and could break through the wall between customer and developer. It would be feasible to request that customers send requirements in meme format.

Looking to lend BitCoins at a fair rate. Just bought a batch of 20 to start off with and these forums seem to have quite a few trusted lenders / clients seeking BitCoins, although my bank deposit won't finalize for a few days I can post in the Newbies forum in the meantime.

TBH Bitcoins seem like a good investment, I've been doing portfolio analysis on it and it seems economically viable and upcoming. Cheers!

I want to extend here the selling of Team Fortress 2 items and Steam games.

This is a post I already made on a tf2-dedicated site:

But very few ( until now, 2 ) know about bitcoins. I want to make a clone thread here. Please suggest me the right section too, thanks
