For what it's worth, I'm a licensed architect practicing in Colorado and Texas, and I accept bitcoin.  Recently, I got a small side job drafting up a simple home remodel floorplan and am being paid 5 BTC!  I love it!

nice!~i'm a Landscape designer located in California...i'm happy to accept cryptocoins !!!!~~~~how do you get the word out? ;-) tia!

Getting the word out is the biggest challenge for me.  None of my current clients have any clue about bitcoin, so I'm left with putting ads up on Craigslist, architecture for bitcoins, lol.  In my field most jobs are repeat business from established clients, so I'm not really sure how to branch out and start a dedicated BTC architecture business.

Thats where we come in. We are a full service marketing and public relations firm that is looking to work with bitcoin businesses in helping them not only reach out to bitcoin customers but to their current customer base as well.
We can help any company or individual get the word out using traditional advertising or public relations techniques. PM us and we can get into more detail about what we can do specifically to help with your companies needs.

I'm a software developer, mostly building web applications with perl, python and js.  I've done quite a bit of linux system administration, and am working on some tools for controlling, monitoring and collecting statistics on miners at the moment.

If you see this and want to chat about feasibility of any project, I'm always open to discussion.  I may be open for hire as well, depending on my interest in the project.

Thanks for helping me get out of the newbie forum.

Hodl regularly and often!
Newbie is suffering.

Hi there [:

Moderate time lurker, first time registering, and I never realised how hard this newbie wait period would be! It's quite a sufferance.

There are a couple of threads in other boards which I really would like to be able to respond to and provide advice to other people having issues with cudaminer, etc. If someone could see their way to authorising me I'd be stoked.

Business concepts and so on are to be dreamed up. There are a couple of web-based things I have in the works, but nothing worth screaming about as yet.

Thanks to whomever heeds this!

Greetings!  I'm responsible for the tech at a company based in Arizona that is trying to basically become the biggest consignment business in the world.  I know, never set your sights too low... Smiley  So far we have two physical stores that are each about 70,000 square feet - and they're filled with all kinds of items, from server racks to washing machines, to power tools, to furniture, to art.  Currently we have over 200,000 items (we add about 5,000 a week), most of which are obviously used, but we do get new items as well from time to time.  We already do a ton of business locally, and we're integrated into eBay, Amazon, etc - but I've been pushing and so we're going to start experimenting with how to use Bitcoin both in our stores, as well as online, so people can purchase anything we have.  I'll post more on the appropriate forum, but if you're interested in seeing what one of our stores looks like, here's a video we shot recently:

I love the idea, but geography is a slight concern for me, as I'm in the UK.

Hmm, I am located in Germany but starting the business in Seattle, where I'm from. I would like to work in Europe too, but I simply don't have the contacts here. If you are really motivated, though, we can make it happen.

UPDATE: WE HAVE NOW LAUNCHED!

Hello to all you Bitcoiners out there,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my company. My name's Rob, my company - BitcoinWebHosting.net. As I'm sure you've put together from the title, we provide anonymous web hosting solutions for the Bitcoin community... and I suppose you could say the world at large. Although, that might sound a little too grandiose.  Grin

We provide the following web hosting solutions:
  • Shared Hosting
  • VPS Hosting
  • Dedicated Servers
  • DDoS Protection

We also offer anonymous domain registration. Not only that, we offer an Anytime Money Back Guarantee on shared hosting plans. We'll refund you in full within the first 60 days, beyond that we offer refunds equal to the remaining value of the time left on your prepaid plan. It's like a warranty that never expires.

However, I don't expect you'll want to go anywhere. We take pride in offering the best service and support you can ask for. It's what we do.

Just so you know, we're on Google+, Facebook, and Twitter (@BitcoinHosting) as well. I look forward to providing an excellent, reliable choice for Bitcoiners and anyone else interested in privacy and anonymity. I try to be as personally available as life allows, so never hesitate to shoot a question my way. I'll get right back to you, or have someone get in touch with you regarding any questions you may have.

Looking forward to being part of the community.

Cheers,
Rob

  Hi!

I'm starting a coffee importing business, and we're trying to branch into specialty roasting right now. At the moment I can offer green coffee from Indonesia (Madheling, Gayo Mountain, and Toraja) or Colombia (Huila, Cauca, or Narino), for the home or specialty roaster. We offer excellent quality coffee, and starting in about 3 months we will hopefully be able to offer fine roasted coffee beans. PM me for samples or prices.

We are looking for partners who want to start BTC cafés. Also, is anyone interested in developing a loyalty card system so that loyal customers to cafés can load credit for multiple cups of coffee and cookies, cake, etc. onto a card, and then just scan the card each time they visit? This way café owners could offer discounts to regular customers, and cut down on confirmation time by transferring say, 2 BTC onto their card or smartphone to cover a whole month of café visits.

I really want to network with other enterprising bitcoin believers and get the bitcoin economy growing. I can offer green coffee beans that I guarantee will beat the prices for comparable quality, to get you started with your own BTC café or home roasting business! How do I beat the prices of other importers? I lived and worked in Colombia on coffee farms, I have friends in Colombia, I don't go out, I fast regularly, I don't have a car, I live in a very low rent area! Basically I am offering to sell the beans at cost, and then if I can build the business I will take my profit out of efficiency gains resulting from higher volume.

Thank you for reading!

Great idea! I'll keep it in mind as we press forward.
