You didn't pay enough mining fee, so just find the solution here.

I have an unconfirmed transaction and/or it is confirming super slow. What should I do?
Be patient and wait. The transaction should confirm within 5 days. If it does not, tell the sender to resend with a fee. Do not ship goods without at least 1 confirmation. Please do not ask for help; it will not speed up confirmations.

Blockchain.info says it should be confirmed by now, but it is still not confirmed!
Blockchain.info's confirmation time is just a guess. Confirmation times may vary wildly, so do not be concerned when your confirmation time is long. Sit tight and your transaction will confirm.

How can I speed up confirmation in the future?
Get the sender to pay at least 0.0001 BTC per kB in transaction fees.

How does Bitcoin's fee policy work?
Transaction fees are based on the size of the transaction. Sending to many recipients, or sending from a wallet that received "dust" transactions will increase transaction size. How much fee you pay matters as well; 0.001 btc/kb will confirm within the next block whereas 0.0001 may take several blocks. These policies are in place to prevent large blocks (bad for miners) and transaction spam (bad for everyone running a full node).

How do I resend a transaction?
Bitcoin-qt will rebroadcast unconfirmed transactions every 30 minutes or so. As long as the sender has his client open, the transaction will be rebroadcast.

How do I resend a transaction with extra fee?
Bitcoin-qt users:
Delete the transaction from your wallet
Wait 48-72 hours so the network can "forget" the transaction (this step is very important!)
Send the coins again with a fee
Third party client users

How do I remove an unconfirmed transaction?
If you do not want to see the unconfirmed transaction, you can remove the transaction from your wallet. Once the transaction gets confirmed, it will reappear in your wallet.

I even tried this and got different results.
I made some very small bets at some sports betting site, sent the money with recommended fee.
After that, when I won something, it sent me the total amount (small enough) with the least fee like in between ~600-800 satoshis, but it got confirmed in the next block only and it was also holding "High Priority" instead of medium.
So, even I cannot understand how exactly does this thing work.

I do not exactly undertand,But I have read that priority is given to the highest fees.
But i do not know if it is relative highest fees or real highest fees.

I do not know if the transfer is selected among all transactions oronly among a group of transfers.

I have noticed on a ponzi where one needs 1 comfirmation that often 2 or 3 transactions are comfirmed almost the same moment.

probably there is something wrong with your PC/or internet connection. I have been sending at least 50 transaction a day for the past 2 weeks with standard fee. they all confirm within 5 to 30 minutes.

I send with minimum fees...and since I send BTC twice I had to wait over 2 hours, once even over 3 hours.
But generally with minimum fees set...it is less than 1 hour.

last sending:

-0.00100816 (0.001 and 0.00000861 fees)

So far I had to wait only once a very long time (over 2 hours and then i went to bed...)
In general,my transaction are all within 1 hour and i prefer so that paying more fees...(i pay already huge fees because i have small amount of incomes...)

i once had a Tx stuck for 2 days hehe....

What was the reason for it? I think it's usually due to previous transactions which were sent without fee, which is exactly what happened in OP's case. The longest I had to wait for a Tx to get a single confirmation was just now, it took 1 hour.

Your case was because it took the network that long to find a block.  OP's case was that he submitted transactions that were not being confirmed even though blocks were being found in the meantime.  As has been noted throughout the thread, the reason was fee-free unconfirmed transactions that were included in the inputs he used, therefore he was forced to wait for those transactions to confirm before his could.

SO what's the deal. I use bitcoin-qt 10.1. Doesn't it include the fee required that makes the transaction confirm within the next block?
In the interest of actually answering the question posed here, not so much as troll fodder, but rather to educate anyone who might be perusing the thread...

Bitcoin Core 0.10.1 certainly gives you plenty of options for controlling your transaction fees:

Setting the transaction fee does not guarantee transaction confirmation within the next block.  It simply makes the transaction more or less enticing for miners.  I guarantee you do something ridiculous like set a transaction fee of 100BTC you're going to be in the next block Smiley.  Barring doing something like that, setting a proper transaction fee will usually get you into the next block, but it's not a guarantee.

Why it took so long to confirm the 0BTC fee transaction is disconcerting. I'll go back to what a said - a fucking 300 baud modem is faster.
A 300 baud modem won't do any good for someone who doesn't pay their phone bill. Roll Eyes

I understand someone obviously used a wallet that allowed them to send BTC to me from a previously unconfirmed transaction b/c the fee was 0BTC.

Good luck finding a 300 baud modem that can solve a block in under 24 hours.

It takes that long because the vast majority of the network won't bother trying to include zero fee transactions in the blocks they are creating.
