The current market situation is not affordable for getting in the altcoins with huge amounts.

Doesn't matter huge amounts or small. You simply stick to the biggest and most important tule of all. Never invest what you can't afford to lose.

In other words. Money you CAN afford to lose, that's what you put into investments like these. If you need the money later or some other time, don't use it.

Doesn't matter $1 or $100. Just apply the rule.

Altcoins are just so, so risky.

The big problem with this statement and picture is that people actually think Bitcoin is out there to crush altcoins.

This is not the case at all,,, in fact the only ones that ever wanted to become Bitcoin killer is altcoins. Bitcoin does its own thing. It does not care about others. It is not even out there to crush fiat. Everybody else sees BTC as the threat but this is not the case at least from Satoshi and user viewpoints.
many misconceptions in understanding the meaning of bitcoin and altcoin, now I think maybe bitcoin is one of the coins that has the best potential. this triggers a non-fundamental statement if bitcoin will destroy altcoin, even though I don't think it will be easy for bitcoin to destroy bitcoin. we can see as in 2017 if altcoin has benefited greatly from the rise in bitcoin and the price of altcoin has also been pushed to the top

It is true bitcoin has crushed the altcoins. But there are some of the altcoins those are  in green in the market and it will take time for the bitcoin to crush them.
Altcoin is indeed correct as you said that the price dropped because it was influenced by bitcoin. but not all altcoin is affected and can still be good and they are also quite strong from the bitcoin movement. I hope that at the end of the year all altcoins can grow and produce the best.
Maybe you are just talking of less than 1% of the total altcoins in the market that are not affected, based on my observation, majority of the altcoins have dropped and ETH is a good example and it's the king of altcoins based on its ranking, but until now it still struggles to make a rally and come back to its good price, and if ETH as the king of altcoins struggle, it's expected a not so popular altcoins will also have the same struggle.

in opinion it is true that not everyone who is gathered into this forum really has to have a bond that always clings to income which for the past two years has been somewhat awkward by the destroyers of altcoin.

The current market situation is not affordable for getting in the altcoins with huge amounts. Many investors prefer to see growth rather than saving their money in the savings account. The recession phase is not done yet, altcoins still have a bigger room for worldwide adoption. Straight facts are the name of the power which doesn't let the investors invest more Bitcoin in the altcoins. The mass adoption will bring new features and the requirements will shift to the new level from my conclusion. The correction is the entry points of the active traders, overlooking the trade levels will not give an additional profit to the crypto day traders in my view.

Wouldn't really say crush, crush sounds destroying

I mean Bitcoin didn't wanted to destroy all the coins in the same ecosystem/industry
Instead, people are just favoring Bitcoin more than the Alts in this case

Because if real world business/parties wanted to integrate or learn about the crypto industry, they can't void out Bitcoin
Hence, if more and more people are getting into it, Bitcoin is definitely the #1 they should learn and buy because its the pioneer of every coin

Some altcoins are still green but very few and these altcoins only serve whales, more precisely, whales except using bitcoin for profit, they use small altcoins to earn more, we can see the pumps operate very reasonably and planning. But after losing support, bitcoin will continue to crush these altcoins as it did with many other altcoins, the mill is operating too strongly, crushing the psychology of many investors, hoping it will soon stop working when almost everyone has lost more than 80% of their assets due to the power of bitcoin.

Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

Most likely, there will be neither one nor the other. Each year in cryptocurrency is special, not like other years. Therefore, everything that happened will never happen again exactly. However, I know for sure that altcoins are developing very quickly now and therefore the high level of bitcoin capitalization will not last long. Funds will always be transferred to where it is more profitable. Now everyone is waiting for the rise in the price of bitcoin. Whether this growth will take place or not, funds from it will inevitably go away after a certain time, in order to return again after some time, however, taking into account the new situation.

Nobody knows but ever since that the bitcoin has came back from $3k to $12k is that people starting to spread a huge dose of hopium across many social platform like twitter that altseason is coming. I know that they are just building the hype because they are finish selling their btc in this bullrun so they are shilling all their bags at their best.

Bitcoin is the only coin that has dominated more than half the total crypto market. So I think it is logical that people prefer bitcoin more than altcoins. There are many reasons behind bitcoin crushing altcoins. Many people still understand bitcoin when it comes to cryptocurrency. So I think bitcoin will continue dominating altcoins.

It is still in the top because they know that Bitcoin has the potential to get down huge profit. How many are bagholders around, still not selling their coins and would only liquidate when the price hits $100,000. That's why resilient those early adopters are. And even at it's 10 years of existence it remain as the best crypto asset so far and no altcoin are going to touch Bitcoin for the next 10 years. Altcoins will come and go but Bitcoin will remain and will continue to dominate crypto sphere no matter what negative things media are going to say about it.

They are also coming up with bitcoin. We are officially in the bull run and most of the alts are going up together with bitcoin.
ETH will bounce to 0.031 for sure imo.
Rates in USD's now $307, it will soon reach $500+.

He was talking about btc ratio, the only thing we should be paying attention to really. Last bullrun run it was a common joke to say that "i am up in usd" even if the altcoins dropped in btc.

I am of the opinion that, altcoin will rise again as in early 2018, altcoin is currently slumped because bitcoin is dominating the volume of cryptocurency prices, and when bitcoin dominance weakens, that's when altcoin will slowly rise
When bitcoin price down, people will split into 2 types, who panic and who keep calm and take other action to get profit. But for now, in fact is a lot of people who panic when bitcoin price down, and not change their investment to altcoins. We must face reality that for now there is rare altcoins that up when bitcoin price down because people already sold their bitcoins and safe their fiat. Maybe if a lot of people know how to minimize risk in trading, they will change strategy instead of only sell bitcoin and kept their fiat.

No, many people are now cautious going to alts, basically because of low project news coming from these alts. However, some projects are seeing a trickling form of adoption and purchase, eg is LEDu and Vechain, Stellar is also making big waves.
They aren't this year in terms for price appreciation, this year does is not so friendly for the altcoins because it's BTC's recover year, and unfortunately bitcoin has not rise yet based on our expectation, it's price has recovered but not enough to cause a FOMO, and that affected the altcoins a lot.

The thread title is so accurate, and I can answer it with yes because bitcoin obviously is getting more dominant now.

Bitcoin dominance compared to the altcoins were very high. This is just the phenomenal growth of bitcoin, and those days of altcoin price pumping never happens again. As the dominance keeps growing it gives an outlook as the altcoins have got crushed, the truth is that altcoins were not that potential to stand along with bitcoin. To the growth achieved by bitcoin now altcoins too should've reached big, but there is no big growth.
