Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

Most or not majority of all altcoins are riding the BTC wave so, once BTC goes up, most altcoins will also go up in prices. Altcoins that can possibly separate themselves are the ones who are making tremendous efforts in going for big exchanges such as Binance and going for partnerships in the blockchain space. Though I'm not seeing BTC being beaten by an altcoin ever, it will always remain the one on top.

I think the dominance of the bitcoin market will be 90%, a lot of altcoins will be destroyed. honestly i don't hold altcoin anymore i only buy bitcoin at this time.

The problem with that scenario is that it basically would stifle crypto innovation. BTC is just a way of storing value and probably will remain that way. Alts are where the interesting things occur ... now real world usage would add value to those alts, and as of yet, there really isn't much real world usage for any crypto. But if BTC reaches 90%+, alts really won't have a chance and there would be less incentive to even try.

The only thing that will crush altcoin is your dreams. ) Bitcoin has not yet reached the maximum price in this race. Therefore, people will not go into altcoins from bitcoin.

The months of July to June have been conditioned by the high dominance of bitcoin and for this reason many alt have collapsed, Btc has reached almost 70% of dominance but in the future the investors will pour again on the alt ones to make greater profits

Bitcoin affects other altcoins, of course, but it is completely connected to bitcoins. What matters is the qualoty the investment and market capacity

Generally when the btc rises other coins follows it and that is why it is said to be leader as it decides the future course of the other coin In which direction it will fall . This time inspite of btc risen to 13k some time back altcoins just did not rise accordingly .

So far, that's the key difference. Alts haven't kept up pace after each btc rise. In fact, any movement by btc at all seems to spin alts downward. BTC does a little roller coaster thing and correction, alts fell each step, never really getting back to where they were beforehand.

This will sound odd, but the best thing for crypto as a whole, or at the least alt market, may be for btc to fall back a bit and cool off... or at least remain stable for a couple of months.

Although this scenario is somewhat similar to what you say, the bicoin increases and other coins increase with it but a weakness and ineffectiveness are expressed very clearly, while bitcoin remains healthy and goes up, other riders seem unable to keep running, all exhausted when faced with the power and unusual fluctuations of bitcoin. Crushing altcoin in a gentle way is what we see bitcoin doing, I don't know if this may be temporary or not but I know our situation is not optimistic right now

bitcoin cash can be said to be like other altcoins because bitcoin cash (BCH) is not bitcoin (BTC) and what I know if there are coins other than bitcoin (BTC) it is considered an altcoin.

It will always happen once bitcoin soars higher altcoins decline, but when it could crash of its value altcoin rises but not so fast. The development is ongoing for altcoin, so let's wait how it could boost compared to what happened with last two years. Let's not expect too much but hope for the best.

Bitcoin does not destroy the altcoins and the phenomenon that occurs in 2017 is certainly different from this time. I see that now Bitcoin has experienced a very high price hike. However, Altcoin has slow growth. I suppose if Bitcoin is stable at a high price, Altcoin will be able to pump higher.

The best altcoins do not depend on Bitcoin. For instance, I am more than sure that after Etherum 2.0, ETH will get absolutely independent life. Nevertheless, not BTC dominance has definitely a negative effect on the tokens and their prices. People start to buy mostly Bitcoin and exchange their alts for the crypto number one. Therefore, tokens become cheaper, and their market cap goes down.

I don't think there is anything mutually destructive here because altcoin and bitcoin need each other to always develop and provide mutual support to return to the top, even though right now not bitcoin and altcoins are not always directly proportional to the price but still they need each other

very true what you say in your opinion because bitcoin and altcoin have different investors and investment with both of them also depends on the confidence of each investor itself and to destroy each other I think it is impossible and modern investment competes to be the best
Altcoins can never destroy bitcoin, so if you are saying that altcoin investors can destroy bitcoin investors so let's take wholly that alts will destroy bitcoin which is impossible to happen.
Many times that bitcoin has plunged the alts market, the terms that are being used are too deep. Let's use basic terms, bitcoin can make the prices of altcoin down and vice versa but alts can never leave bitcoin behind.

I don't think like that, Bitcoin is the center of crypto currencies and altcoins are complementary.
Bitcoin and Altcoin have different roles, therefore they complement each other rather than destroy each other.
They are not helping each other, the same thing that they competing in the market and to find out who gonna be win the race. If they have potentials, then it have to believe that they could make it but somehow, bot all of them don't have.
Bitcoin is very promising than of altcoins that is why investors give more investment in this coin than of altcoins and so it always been on the top among others.
altcoins compete with each other for investors not familiar with the project, and at the same time really complement each other, in working on the same exchanges than it is profitable to trade and than to move funds between exchanges.

They complement each other? How? Most of them are plane copycats so I can't see how they would complement each other.

the market situation is not similar to end of 2017 at the moment. Because i remeber that altcoins were also strong since the beginning of 2017 till end of 2017 and they raised sharply at the end. but now the altcoins lost too much value for more than 1 year.
Many altcoin has a very low value compared to the highest peak in 2017 because it is a good time to choose some good altcoin and keep it until the end of the year. Some new altcoin with low trading volume and small value is also a new investment direction for investors who like altcoin.

Many altcoins lost in value because they were extremely overpriced. Most of them are worthless anyway. The market was hyped up like crazy.

market conditions are different, of course asset prices are also different. take a look at the very high 2017 trade. and to reach ATH it is clear that we have to delete all existing scam projects, and make the new production project increase successfully. because with the existence of a new project, it can bring in new investors with funds that do not spin in the crypto market.

Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?

As always, bitcoins movement makes or Mar altcoins prices. One of the reason is because bitcoin is the base pair of all altcoins and secondly, the cryptocurrency world and activities are all focused on Bitcoin which is the mother of all cryptocurrencies

It is true that altcoins will bounce but I dont think the altcoins bull run is going to be like December 2017, January 2018. The dominance of BTC is 70% roughly at the moment. I think during the alt season the dominance will stop somewhere around 45-50%.

Bitcoin has a non Conservative way of exerting its superiority over altcoins and the cryptocurrency market in general. The recent dump in bitcoin prices made over 95 percent of altcoins loose value in huge percentages and sadly some are not quick reactors to positive btc movements and might likely remain low for a while
I think bitcoin won't kill altcoins, because the market is different. Bitcoin is collected by rich people who have a lot of money so that for them the price of bitcoin which reaches thousands of US dollars is not a problem as long as trading results are profitable.
But altcoins that have prices of hundreds, tens, and even those below one US dollar are certainly opportunities for crypto traders who have little capital. While the profit percentage can be the same as bitcoin or even more.

Of course Bitcoin already out of the reach of the average people and it has been turned into store of value as big companies and goverment are getting involve in this. So that I also quite sure altcoins will get more attention when mass adoption will happen and it will explode very soon.
