There will always be a perfect time for everything, even here in the world of cryptocurrencies. The very bullish Bitcoin rally will be unforgiving to the altcoins. That is reasonable as people would definitely dump their altcoins to enjoy the Bitcoin ride. But altcoins will be their option after Bitcoin will reach its highest point. But as of now, it looks like everything is in blood, both Bitcoin and altcoins.
I believe there will be a good moment for altcoin. bitcoin must be more stable first, and that's the time when bitcoin trading will decline and start switching to altcoin. if that happens the altcoin pump will begin.

Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

We see that the market in each year is not like all the others. The world does not develop in a circle, but in a spiral. Therefore, we cannot return to the past. This year, the Altcoins really do not behave as they previously and very slowly react to the change in the price of Bitcoin, especially in the direction of its growth. However, Bitcoin will not be able to destroy altcoins. There is the usual process of selecting more useful altcoins, and useless ones leave the market. However, the market situation will constantly change, so I am waiting for the revival of the popularity of altcoins and, above all, through increasing their prices.

Although the dominance of Bitcoin is increasing, it doesn't mean that it is crushing ALL of the altcoins because there are some altcoins that are performing better than Bitcoin in the past weeks in terms of price increase.

Anyway, I'm holding mostly Bitcoin right now because I just want to. I'm also holding some altcoins for mid to long run.

I don't think so, right now is the time for bitcoin to move higher first. If bitcoin is become stable i think altcoins will follow to pump up too. Altcoins just have to wait for the right time.

For now it seem it was crushed by bitcoin, and as it soars up the altcoins go down. Maybe there's a great moments awaits for altcoin but now it's impossible to see it because the trend was reversed compared to what 2017 was.

Well it could take more time for alts to get back up from that bloodbath. Especially if the BTC goes to ATH, people will jump ships. Most alts could stay positive in usd but definitely will mostly drop on btc then. If the btc finds a nice sideways movement after ath, people will start to speculate if they could get more btc with playing alts. Then the altseason really hits.

But i am afraid i am jinxing it by saying this.

What are you talking about? Most altcoins are in green as well. This is something really different unlike 2017. With many crypto adoption and news about big companies this is really something good for the whole market. Of course, btc will dominate the market.
of course altccoin rises and greens in fiat when bitcoin rises, but in the corner of the pair with btc, altcoins are much down like ethereum. but that doesn't matter to me.

bitcoin can not crush the altcoins, if you look the prices of the altcoins  they are increasing and it is nice to see that the market is recovering. I believe  that we can see again the bullish market just like 2017.
Market conditions are not yet like 2017. Even different trends are happening in the market. you can see the growth of bitcoin is too high and makes altcoin not move much. or some slow moving. that's not good because the dominance of the bitcoin trade is still very high. bitcoin will not crush altcoin but altcoin also requires trade growth to keep investment going into the market.

basically, the development of bitcoin prices should also support the altcoin price drive. however, until now, this has not been seen. however, currently there are so many altcoin prices that are down due to rising prices that occur in bitcoin. maybe we just need to wait.

We are yet to see the altcoin run because bitcoin has been so bullish since the last two months. Even specialist's have ran out of analysis and predictions. I am afraid it may just be about bitcoin from this year to 2021 until there's a major break for altcoins, especially Ethereum

If that's what you think then we better continue to hold, I'll take the positive possibility which is altcoin to has its own rally and willing to wait for it.
But I don't think bitcoin is crushing altcoins because there has been no significant dumps on altcoins, it's just that they don't rise yet.
If you look at altcoin's value every day, the decline is really insignificant but aggregates all the decline in a certain time, it is very significant when altcoin does not recover quickly enough, almost bitcoin continuously crushes altcoin bit by bit. Hopefully the next few weeks will be the final stage of the crushing process, altcoin has really become too weak, it takes time to breathe, investors also need time to calm down, Bitcoin is hurting people every night

Bitcoin will never crush altcoins. In fact, altcoins are just following bitcoin. Wherever bitcoin wants to go, alts follows. But first, they will suffer as bitcoin will show dominance.
Actually bitcoin has crushed the altcoins market many times. But that's the pattern of it, after the crushing there will be a retrieval and recovery period for most of them. As we've seen many times, when bitcoin gains dominance, alts are also having that blessing from bitcoin to increase.

I worry whether the BTC will rise again to 14k, because if it does, it will cause altcoin to drop sharply. But luckily it dropped, and I think altcoin season is getting closer

Great if altcoin season will be happening again just like before mate, many profit goes in with us those days of 2017. The experience is unforgettable and although there's a sudden drop of price of altcoins, the potential to rise again is there to happen.

It turns out more and more that BTC is simply more useful than anything else. It is accepted more widely, it is more stable than others and it has the strongest ecosystem.
The sad truth is that most altcoins are just useless, even if you combined all the altcoins they do not come close to the number of real transactions made on bitcoin every day, so altcoins have been overvalued for a long time and only now we are seeing bitcoin claiming back its dominance over the market, right now the dominance sits at 63.8% and I will not be surprised if it reaches 70% or even 75% during the next weeks and months.

Some of that may be baked into prices already... or I sure hope it is. Right now it seems whichever way BTC moves, up or down, Alts go down (in relation to BTC prices).

BTC dominance is kind of crazy right now, and most alts are super cheap (at least compared to past prices). Which either means whales will gobble up alts and go on an alt run ... or BTC will simply crush alts into smithereens, with maybe a handful of survivors. But even the top alts, like ETH, are being crushed, so the survivors won't really be as profitable as simply holding BTC.

Hopefully this changes soon, as we don't want to see BTC as the sole viable crypto out there ... for multiple reasons. Even govts shouldn't, as most tech advances come from alts, not BTC.

Bitcoin isn't crushing the altcoins, but the lack of growth on altcoins make the investors to move the funds into bitcoin. This keeps the market dominance of bitcoin to be much higher of 64% while ethereum struggles hard to cross 10% and the remaining being contributed by rest of the altcoins. This is why there is an outlook of bitcoin crushing the altcoins.
