The originator of the news about the old active wallet has debunked his claims. He had confirmed that it was fake news. It will be unwise for him to come out and the first thing he would do is to handle a Bitcoin wallet. Ross Ulbricht should be smart not to attract more attention to himself. He would be busy enjoying the new environment and spending quality time with family members and friends.

Wow, very touching. It's true that there's a lot to endure during the early days when many don't know and doesn't like Bitcoin. One of them is Ross. Many might be against to what he built but the principle is there of being an open market and even in today's world, even something is built for the good. There will be people that will take advantage of it, I'm happy for Ross especially for his mom.

However, I am still in disbelief, I will believe it when I'll see it done.
After all, Trump was president before and back then he didn't care at all about the injustice done to Ross (well, Trump also called back then Bitcoin a scam, heh).

Great news indeed. Still, I want to see the Dread Pirate Roberts out of that damn prison. The inauguration is near and after that there should be movement for this case. Ross did his time and he is definitely deserving to be let go.

Yes, he will: Trump is already a convicted felon in the New York case. His sentencing has been delayed until after he leaves office, but he is in fact a convicted felon.

I think they don't want him out so that no one will copy what he did but let's face it, this era is so damn filled with internet darkness that so many scams had been flying everywhere. Silkroad is not that the kind of heavy metal in illegal things anymore because of the scammy things that has been happening everywhere.
From millions of dollars of rugpulls and that popular exchange site that used popular artists to be hyped and then robbed the money of many people. That may be way worst than what he did.
