Yes it is good for investing now while its in low price because there are big possibility that bitcoin will reach another new all time high that can give a bigger profit and many people now become interested that makes the volume of the market become huge.

There is too much stuff that needs to happen for it to raise to 100k, is too much money and the thresholds are different, things just don't value 100k unless something global happens

Who are these traders? If the same movement or wave will happen on 2018 then this is possible. For this year of 2017, everyone was only expecting that the price of bitcoin will be stable at end of the year at $2,000 but it all goes more than with it. And since they are "large" trader there must be some insight that there will be new whales that are going to pump bitcoin as expected we've been through a dip so expect pump but $50k is quite high for me.

it is very hard to judge the future of bitcoin coz it has very wild up and down if you compare it with stock markert of gold market , yes bitcoin is preacious and something reveloutionary but it has been a baby gient now and moves harder as it gets heavier so that i don't think bitcoin crosses 40k in the end of 2018 , because the volume would goes so high that then , and it gets very heavy to move fast.
it is really stressful for investors to see the price of bitcoin dropping to fast now nearly 12000$ from this price at the end of the year, i can see not much hope to witness the price reach 50000$ at the end of the year 2018, it may reach 25000$ is maximum.
i think bitcoin's price will grow much faster if everyone stops trying to sell the highs and buy the lows. If everyone just makes a concerted effort to hold their coins for the next 365 days, the price would reach astronomical heights

Bitcoin ill crossed the value of 50k$ for sure,this is due to many had adopt into bitcoin now.Even now many had move to inverse in bitcoin rather than a gold.So we can expect this in more number at the end of this year.

If the bitcoin increases to $ 50,000 then that is not possible. Bitcoin has a strong growth momentum and is currently undergoing price revisions, but may rebound in March next year. I think $ 25000 will be the next destination.
$ 20000 is the highest price to date. I think bitcoin is in need of stability and upgrading because the bitcoin trading speed is slow. If possible in 2018, the bitcoin will reach $ 30000.

In my opinion, I don't think that this coming 2018 bitcoin will reach $50,000 but who knows, right? The reason why I hesitated is because I heard and read an article that there will be a bitcoin correction or a dumping price which made me jump to a conclusion that it won't reach $50k. In addition, some said that there will be a hardfork coming this year 2018. For now, I’ll be reading an article and look for more reliable information. 
Bitcoin's price will stay probably at 15k to 16k USD because of the correction. Take note that if we pumped hard, the correction will hit us hard too. But don't you worry, it will set it's ath after that. If you remembered, 200 usd to 3 usd, DUMPED, 1300 to 200 USD, DUMPED, 5000 to 2800 USD, another DUMPED. It's all just dump guys, don't panic sell or you'll lose. Cause as we all know, bitcoin will rise and rise.
One of the crypto economy experts had speculated earlier in 2016 that bitcoin will be around $20,000 by the end of 2017 and the same person again claimed days before that one dsy we should see bitcoin price at $100,000, unfortunately he hasn't mentioned year. Surely, it is possible if more people get involved and support bitcoin, then the speculated price range isn't far from being true

Bitcoin will soar by 2018 if mass adoption happen. But with the current network, the transaction fees and how long a transaction is confirmed I think bitcoin will struggle. Those concerns need to be addressed. Or some Alts will do. As per now, for me bitcoin is not a currency its gold.
I think in 2018 that bitcoin will become more popular in the world which means bitcoin prices will increase but I think at the end of 2017 bitcoin prices will temporarily decrease in price very drastically.
That's too far ahead, but just imagine if we would do even half of what bitcoins did this year, then $50k is nothing. Bitcoins jumped from $800 to $20,000 (its all time high) in less than a year! That's amazing. That is 25x since it started this year. Imagine if it would even do just 5x. Then $20,000 x 5 = $100,000 by the end of 2018. It's quite possible I think!
Just imagine will not make bitcoin price jump from now to 5x.
I thought its too hard to achieve it in near time. Maybe during next year would ne more male sense to reach that price.

In 2018 bitcoin will soar higher. There will be more investors. Eventually the demand will increase again after the holidays. People will start there yearly goals and most likely they will include bitcoin investment in their list. I believe bitcoin price in 2018 will probably be more than $100,000.
Well in my own aspect bitcoin will be more pump in 2018 which can gain bigger even x3 or more than the value right now. As we observe if many investors then more value to achieve as user continue and we can have it higher. For me i expect in 2018 the value in 2017 will become x2 or more than
