it is true that today the function of bitcoin as currency has failed and only succeeded as an investment, and until the future will remain as an investment place because with unstable prices it is very difficult to become a currency.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Yes, I do think it will be changed with flow of time but for many people it is very comfortable and profitable to have Bitcoin in the current stage of manipulative investing asset, because they are having money from that.

If you compare the bitcoin with the traditional currency then bitcoin loses, because bitcoin has not been legalkanized by the government and can't for daily transactions. Bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used for online transactions.

For me in the future we can still used our bitcoin as a currency but not now because until now not all the country and not all the people is supportung bitcoin but for sure in the future we can able to used our bitcoin as a currency just like paying bitcoin on a restaurant and some mall.

I think everything can happen but we can not deny that bitcoin will become stronger. The devaluation of the currency is the premise for bitcoin development. And people will soon realize the benefits of bitcoin

In my opinion, they are not for everyday goods and services, they are used only for interstate transactions and are more rigorous. that's my guess.

I do not think it's a failure, but it's not effective. Especially for the payment of micro-payment. Fee transactions can be higher than the bill to be paid. So, in some ways like instant transaction and small scale, I think fiat is more effective.

I agree it is not a failure, because it will be considered by some countries as their permanent currencies, Bitcoin has a lot of potential in the future.
Bitcoin is not a failure because it is now being used a payment system in other countries but not a permanent type of currency because bitcoin is still struggling to be a sustainable currency because it has the volatility that most of the people doesn't like because they don't want to risk their money into a fast changing type of currency and investment.

people are using Bitcoin as currency, so it does not fail. But that is not a rule and everyone can use Bitcoin because it is better suited to their needs. It may seem strange that people use currency as an investment option because we see our traditional currency losing the price every new day, it becomes unprofitable to hold, otherwise we will have the fiat as a well-looked investment and not just to pay for our needs. I think there is an increase when it comes to bitcoin as currency but if and only when the time comes that bitcoin supply limit will be reached and demand for bitcoin increases then I believe bitcoin at the moment in time will never be used as currency but only a vehicle investment or store value because I'm pretty sure the bitcoin value will skyrocket
