I think the price will increase if there's demand that is not met really, halving will impact other areas but not sure if it will translate quite literally like you said.

Maybe the price stands relatively stable and nothing major happens, is that possible? I think 2016-17 are crucial years on the development of Bitcoin for better or for worse.

Yeah. I am probably going to buy a couple more Bitcoin in hope that the Bitcoin price will rise a lot and I will make a good profit. I am in a really good mood just thinking about the halving. LOL.
I bet most of the whales will plan to CASH OUT on or around halving day and let everyone else pay for their huge beach party. Seriously, I'd go for a party but all the price action will most likely happen long before summer. Looking at the past 2 weeks, it has already started to happen to a small degree. There will be no surprise, but if you want to buy Bitcoins you have maximum two, maybe three more months to do so. It'll hurt more and more to buy each passing month. In July price will just stagnate.

I am slowly building my bitcoin stash but for me the halving will hopefully be a stepping stone which might be talked about and make more people aware of the blockchain technology as well as the best cryptocurrency which is bitcoin.

I will HODL all of my BTC is the price move is gradually up, or if there is not much movement at all prior to +/- July 20.
I will HODL most of my BTC if the price rises sharply. If it spikes to, say, $2000, I will buy some gold with BTC.
My *guess* is that if BTC is able to break through its ATH price in the $1200s by then, then maybe many others will get into it. The more players in this game, the better...

When the halving happens, hopefully I will have gotten lucky on some pools and be a millionaire. By then Donald Trump and I will be drinking margaritas and discussing options for Bitcoin startups and taking over Antarctica for the world's largest mining facility.
Pretty sure the price increase will be effectively built in as we get closer to the halving. I don't think for example the price would go from 500 to 1000 overnight when it's the day of the halving.

Not really. I don't have enough friends that use bitcoin to host a party or something. I will just be at home waiting for the price to go extremely high.

LOL at idiots ITT that think a price rise is guaranteed at halving.... this is exactly the reason why it probably won't happen, and then these noobs will panic and crash the market
Having people believing that the price will increase actually will increase the price, because owners of bitcoins will keep them to get better price,
