LOL at idiots ITT that think a price rise is guaranteed at halving.... this is exactly the reason why it probably won't happen, and then these noobs will panic and crash the market

thats why the price is rising now. a lot of buying before the halving. and then nothing will happen.

Do you have any plans for the evening Bitcoin halves?

If reading this retrospectively, what did you do the day of bitcoins halving?

no. i am sure that i won't realize that the halfing had happened. i only will know that if i will read here about it.
nothing special i think. just the next step.

I am not having many buddies who are interested in Bitcoin, so i am not likely to party alone but maybe i will order something nice to eat on the halving night ,iff price increases by significant amounts.

No, but if bitcoin goes up to $2000 I'll make a hell of a party you can bet on that. Anyways, the price will be higher and a lot of people will certainly party to that!

I don't know witch day will be, and because that i don't know what i will do this day. But i'm sure that i will be looking the price all the day to see if it changes with the halving event. But i suppose that the increment of prices will be before this day.

The halving day can be estimated, here is a countdown:

http://bitcoinclock.com/

So you can know when it will happen pretty precisely, we also know when the future halvings will happen, just add 4 years to 2016-07-20.

I didn't know about this web clock for bitcoin events, i also saw interesting the count of blocks before the diffuculty changes. Thanks for sharing it.

I'd buy some BTC a couple of months before it, and then just watch it rise and enjoy.

I will reduce my BTC for the little party celebrating the New Year 2016 with the family. And after that I will be staring at the screen to see the price of the BTC will ride high (hope)  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Where can I read more about this halving?  I am interested learning more about this.  I will also make sure I send some BTC on that day to make sure I am in that block, but I think it will be hard since so many people are going to be in the same boat as I am.

The only thing I have in mind in this moment is to follow the price of bitcoin live. This could be the best party for every person which want and have trust on it. If this price will go even higher than it is going actually (maybe doing a jump and not slowly) this could be the best party I can have. Even for the moment I have only few bitcoins because most of those are invested in various sites. The most sad thing will be the lost of those or even part of those because of possibility that the owners of the sites be scammers. Even I am having profits momentarily I am reinvesting those again. Maybe after a few time will began the withdraw to not remain without nothing if can be true the bad thing mentioned above.

To tell u the truth, I expect the price to reach at least $1500 per BTC by that time and grown even more after that. So yes, those ll be some interesting crypto times.

That is not the truth. The price will reach $2000 before the halving. It will drop after the halving when the party is over.

my plan I would buying some bitcoin before halving maybe 1-2week before halving then waiting price skyrocket at block halving day
also im interesting to buy bitcoin miner to start mining before block halving

maybe in the end of this year
I expect the exact opposite.  I think the price will rise before the halving, then it will stall shortly beforehand, then fall when the halving actually happens.

That happens a lot (watch the USD today if/when they increase the interest rates) because people think that they should get in late for a certain profit, but the people who got in early are then trying to cash out for profit.  Then the 'last in' people realise the price isn't rising so dump, and the price falls. (buy the rumour, sell the fact)

if the price fall when the halving actually happens
Im sure miners will stop mining activities due to difficulty getting up and prices began to fall
and they start buying bitcoin and hodl it

I'm not expecting the price to change at all on the day of the halfing so no plans.
Even I am expecting bitcoins price to not change on the halving day. But I can suggest you to buy some bitcoins for your future savings that would be helpful in future I think. Because I have that plan.
