Bitcoin is becoming a global currency? i hope so. Because bitcoin is used by the people in the whole world. If this things happen it is good for me, is simply because it's not ruled or controlled nor issued by the government or bank. It is more usable in terms of transactions and it have no tax.
it is not only good for you, but it is good all the people who are using bitcoin, as bitcoin is easy to be use everywhere in the world having equal value in all over the world. you do not need to convert it in any other currency if you are doing shopping in any part of the world.
Yes, I am the one who is heavily suffering due to forex exchanges as well as dollar's appreciations. When I save some fiat for my business either in local fiat or in USD, I will be fine without any currency conversions but if happens to convert almost every time I will loose around 4% - 6% in exchange differences.

But with bitcoin savings, I am always safe. I never need to worry about bitcoin value or usd as bitcoin is always getting appreciating and moreover if things are priced based on bitcoins then there will not be any big issues.

Yes bitcoin is used all over the world but only a few thousand in every country if bitcoin wants to become a global currency i think is should be used by 1/4 or half the human population.
yes that is a fact that bitcoin is almost using all the countries of the world therefore to me bitcoin is alread a global currency. more and more  people of the world are entering in the filed of bitcoin and making bitcoin becoming more and more stringle
yes that is a fact that bitcoin is almost using in all over the world, but the number of bitcoin users is still very low, as most of the people still do not know about bitcoin. bitcoin still need good advertisement so that people may know about bitcoin.

No doubt about it bitcoin now is being used as global currency by those people who only know bitcoin but still we may say that it is still not applicable or quite sort of. But in conclusion, there are people from different countries that has been using bitcoin in the long run as investment, currency and trading platform globally.

Though bitcoin is used all over the world by people living in different countries, but it is still not that much a global currency as it is not yet legalized or used in many countries, i heard only about a few countries where bitcoin is used or accepted in physical world otherwise it is just a internet currency.
it does not need to be legalize to be called as global currency, the volume of supporters is making it possible and no matter this is not legal as long as it's no illegal also we can still succeed in the future. The fact that we have freedom in here then it would certainly attract people to adopt.
yes that is a fact that some thing that is not legalize cannot become a legal currency, for becoming globalize it is necessary for some thing to become a global currency that it should be use through out the world, and i think bitcoin is using in all over the world almost in all the countries of the world.

But it can be also legalize when majority of the people are using it even it is still not being considered by the government. So if the people are shouting to legalize bitcoin and adopt it as global currency then the government will don't have choice but to legalize it. As they do believe in Vox Populi.
very often politicians tend to be for or against something solely based on the what will bring me more votes. but this requires a much bigger user base and in order to get this legalization would be helpful. it is a circle.

And how will we be in their control after they'll legalize Bitcoin and make it an official payment method? The politicians are looking to control as much as they can so they can steal as much as possible from us. Most of our money (and I'd say it's over 75% of it) goes to their pockets, unlike the promises they're making everytime before they're elected. It's all about beautiful words, you know.
i do not think the all politicians are bad. or after our money. wanting to control us. some of them sure are, but most of them are not smart enough and would not be able to get a real job, so they want to stay in office as long as possible and tend to go with the flow of the votes.

Our money is being stolen by the corporations. Politicians are also on their payroll. It is 0.01% of the world population which control these corporations, and the vast majority of the wealth (including that in paper money) is controlled by them.

I don't see any way for them to steal bitcoins even if it becomes legalized they wont have any control on it, they may create their own coins against bitcoin and make people use their own digital currencies in order to be connected with banks so in that way they might do the same again in digital era too.

I don't think things are so simple as they seem to be

Corporations and politicians may not be able to literally steal bitcoins, but they still can steal Bitcoin purchasing power. And to do that, they would be interested in full legalization of Bitcoin, however counterintuitive that might sound. Since the amount of bitcoins, like gold, is limited, they could deal with Bitcoin in exactly the same way as they dealt with gold. They might establish derivative markets and start trading paper bitcoins very much like paper gold is traded today. And just like they control the price of physical gold through gold futures and options which are only cash-settled and don't imply physical delivery, the price of Bitcoin could be controlled in essentially the same way, i.e. through paper bitcoins, namely, cash-settled Bitcoin futures and options

That is true, and if that happens then there will be no difference between bitcoin and paper money or any other asset used in physical world, the dreams of people of using bitcoin for an ease of access to their funds would be ruined in that case.

Well thats true we were wasting several money using the most companies as banks and others that provides us a service of sending funds from one country to another, like Western Union, those companies were growing while we work to improve our family life. Bitcoin has a solution and its being used for serveral people to do those same transactions, being the difference huge, for me bitcoin has turned global since the begining, just werent recognized as such, but now the community awarded bitcoin, while politicians hasnt yet took any position.

For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
Ofcourse the bitcoin Became a globally international country . Because we are seeing that daily big big services serving sites like recharge , top-up , Pat , shopping online etc accepting Bitcoin daily because of its Freedom to use .

BULL RUN until 2030
November 18, 2016, 01:58:45 AM
Bitcoin is getting more used now and that is perfect for Bitcoin and that is also nice for the people who already have Bitcoin so they can spend it more maybe. But  bitcoin is too small now and the other currency's are still way to big compared with it.
I consider now cann't to say bitcoin is a global currency!

It is true that there is more adoption of bitcoin everyday and yet it is still young for bitcoin to be compared to fiat currency.  I believe that time will com for bitcoin to be in mainstream but it will happen when the government of every nation acknowledge bitcoin as currency and announcing their support to bitcoin economy.  That way those who keep their faith and bitcoin and hold them will benefit in the mass adoption that will lead to increase in price. and yes bitcoin is still young though it is global ready in nature but the adoption simply tells it is not.
And what will happen with bitcoin in the future if this will not be controlled by the government? We have to admit that only the government can make bitcoin great that it will come to the point it will replace the fiat, unless it happens we will remain anonymous and very risky to put our money in bitcoin if you do not treat it as investment.
