I don't think that bitcoin will be no. 1, the price of bitcoin cannot be set. if bitcoin is used as a digital asset option, I agree.
but when used as a multinational payment tool that happens is the price is unstable and cause friction. so in my opinion there should be an appropriate solution to put bitcoin into digital assets / commodities. then, creating a supportive cryptocurrency as a secure and transparent multinational payment tool.

in the top 10 is the best achievement in my opinion, maybe it can take a few more years bitcoin can be number 1, I'm sure bitcoin can reach it because I see bitcoin is getting popular even though the price is falling, bitcoin is just waiting to be the best

That's very impressive and it wont be a news to me if it becomes the most used coin in the whole world. Btc is taking over all the fiat currencies some years to come.

I don't think bitcoin can be the first place to go beyond the dollar, and the recent years have developed rapidly, but the share of the world's economic encrypted currency is still very small.

Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency. These figures are noteworthy, but if the value of a single Bitcoin goes up to $15,000, India’s currency Rupee will pass. Ethereum ranked 17th and Bitcoin Cash ranked 20th. Ripple is located just below 20.
How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?

I think bitcoin will need 3 years to become currency # 2 or # 1. I am sure that bitcoin can move on capitalization and on its path, the us dollar, the European Euro and the Chinese yuan. I also want to say that there is a great potential for growth and other cryptocurrencies, I am sure that bitcoin cache will take a new top line of the TOP3. For now, let's wait.

Its just a matter of time and I think since it's among the first 6 it can be number one some years to come and no doubt about that. All we need is patience and it can become one of the most used cryptocurrencies around the whole world.

What? Become number 1? I think it's depends from bitcoin market itself. What we know from past until today bitcoin market it's not stable can going up or down drastically anytime. So if bitcoin market rise up maybe bitcoin will be number 1 currency it's not take much time. My question is whether digital currency can be number 1 beating physical currency like dollar? What's your oppinion? Smiley

Woah that's great news for the world of digital currencies, it means then that bitcoin does really have a place in the economical aspect. It would not be dubbed as the 6th worlds largest currency if it meant just nothing or a coin that is not worthy to be invested.

Bitcoin will not be global mainstream currency. There are numerous reasons for that and volatility and a restricted number of coins are some of them. Still, Bitcoin can already be taken into consideration as global FOREX because it may be used everywhere within the global in which people have a web connection and it's time-honored by many nations everywhere in the international, it has no obstacles, it doesn't fall below the regulation of best one. I suppose that is sufficient to be taken into consideration as a world FOREX.

I think that it is still debatable is it currency or not since a lot people buy it more as an asset.
Also Europian Union tends to think that it is more asset than currency, at least for now i agree with them.

I fully agree that bitcoin is more an object for investment, for the status of the currency, stability is needed, and not constant manipulative leaps for profit.

I read the reasoning of one analyst, he argues that after the fall of the American dollar, a new wave of the world crisis will come. And in the crisis, as a rule, precious metals are growing. Since bitcoin is secretly digital gold, it can take the lead in capitalization.

Bitcoin is the first decentralized currency in the world! Give a few more years of purposeful crypto growth and spread of decentralization, Bitcoin will definitely gain a stronger hold and also rank higher

That is a great news for us because we can now say to the people that the bitcoins is really a legut thing and not a scam because as they will look into the statistics it will said that they are really into the real deal. Because some people are still doubting to the capabilities of the bitcoins without even experiencing the essence of it.

This is a clear sign that the people are gradually getting the concept of cryptocurrency through the innovative lead taken by Bitcoin. In some few years to come, BTC will be rated the number one and most in demand currency in the world.

That is more appropriate, bitcoin is more of an asset class than it is a currency, not because of any intrinsic defect in bitcoin in itself but as a result of the level of adoption, making it highly volatile.

Although I am not sure of the criteria used in measuring them , it is some good news, eventually bitcoin will be number one, it is inevitable as the US keep falling in value

bitcoin isn't about competing with other currencies so it won't be number 1, 2, etc. bitcoin is just a new currency form here to offer different options. the fact that most currencies on the charts existed centuries ago and Bitcoin appeared less than a decade ago, the future of latters looks very promising with so many anticipated aspects of development. Looks like an Indian rupee can be taken over this year and before long it will reach other competitors.

I am very surprised to see this graph. Because do not think Bitcoin position became the sixth largest currency in the world. While the current Bitcoin price just goes up it is certain to reach number 1 I think it is easy to pass Bitcoin. I hope in the next few years Bitcoin could become the world's first largest currency.
