From the current point of view, I think it will take quite a long time until it happens. The economy is not ready for such changes and I do not think other currencies (particularly the dollar) will have such a downturn in market control.

In my opinion since Bitcoin was born in 2008, there is still too short time to compare. And i think about 2025 Bitcoin will lead in the world currency. This is possible when the value of Bitcoin is growing as well as its impact.

Interesting comparison but I think that BTC and other currencies should be compered more to sotcks are precious metals not currencies becaus it is more as store of value then means of payments.

Something tells me that the government will not allow it! Just imagine if bitcoin has become very rare and the total supply of bitcoin is just less than 1 million bitcoin then definitely bitcoin trading volume will be more than today and experience a fantastic increase.

As I always used to say that bitcoin is a very huge, the most successful and the most popular crypto currency of the present times and this is not any hypothetical thing , statistics are the proof that bitcoin is the superior of all the crypto currencies and not only this, bitcoin is even considered as a threat to the present Fiat currency system so no doubt bitcoin is a very huge and potentiating crypto currency and there is no wonder if anyone is saying bitcoin is the worlds 6th largest currency.

It's unpredictable. BTC is unstable and we can't tell exactly how long it'll take. Also, there are no guarantees that BTC will ever become number one. And to me it's not even important because we already know the value of BTC.

Good to see bitcoin's place in the currency used in the world. Once bitcoin rises high in the coming years and its adoption rate also increases, i expect that it move its place on top too but i don't think that it can knock dollars off.
