sorry for the ignorant question, but what makes a currency "larger"? Is this based on the amount of users? Because I see it's clearly not based on the actual value

It is great news that bitcoin is the world 6th largest currency. I cannot say when will bitcoin be number one, but i am hoping that someday bitcoin will be the number one currency in the world that everyone are using bitcoin and bitcoin is legalize in all over the world. How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?
It will be surprising if bitcoin overtakes the dollar and become a top coin. But something tells me that the government will not allow it! just imagine if bitcoin has become very rare and the total supply of bitcoin is just less than 1 million bitcoin then definitely bitcoin trading volume will be more than today and experience a fantastic increase.

this is good news and interesting for those of us who use bitcoin, i love bitcoin to be the sixth currency in the world. I hope in the coming future bitcoin is not the sixth, it can be the number 1 in the world. 
To be a number 1 is in need of about 2 decades. Most eyes are joined as investments in the world but some rules in the FUD news world do not spread or show them openly. If you are happy then you can reach the highest peak so it becomes no, 1.
