Is that true ? If true then it is certainly very great. Certainly bitcoin can become more popular and potentially longer in the future. This is good news and certainly positive for its users. With this news will certainly make us more enthusiastic again.
As we see bitcoin value is growing day by day and also it's market volume. But after all it's a liquid currency. So I don't think bitcoin will be 1st currency ever.
I think it is amazing to see bitcoin on that table. I n my opinion, it prove itself and has a great potential to achive many things in the future too.
We all know bitcoin should be at number 1, 6th is not that bad though...for now

Wow, this is truly amazing to know. I think thaf if all goes well with bitcoins and does not encounter more banning from countries or other unnecessary fuds, it will easily be able to go and take the number one spot in a few ywars time. Specially if the current issues of bitcoins gets fixed. But only time can really tell.

well i think this is a significant statistic, we all see that the new Bitcoin was popular recently, but it has gone through so many other potential currencies, and it is like a traditional currency. Bitcoin is becoming more popular and more anticipated by investors, I think it is possible Bitcoin will be able to surpass India's rupee next year and I believe we will move to the digital currency system completely in decades and I think the current monetary system does not meet the needs of people anymore as they require more bureacratic and expansive transactions.
If now the currency is in such a place, and it is used by less than 1% of the world's population, what will it be used by 5-10% of the population? hard to imagine. What if bitcoin becomes digital gold? and all today's crypto-currencies will be guided by its price as well as gold, fiat money.

Yes, Bitcoin can be ranked as the number 1 currency. Yes, US dollars is currently the top ranked, but Crypto currency is unpredictable. Plus, it has seen a constant rise in its performance. Coins like TAU, LTC are rising in value. Eventually at the end of some year, BTC can be the most used currency. How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?

If bitcoin transactions fee will lees as normal, if bitcoin accept by amazon or ali express, if bitcoin transactions be fast then bitcoin can overcome USD rank in future. Bitcoin needs just few improvment. If satoshi nakamoto is alive then maybe he will fix this issues. We can hope to be top one.

It will take some 10 or more years for that to happen. In 10 years, many countries will adopt the usage of cryptocurrency as a national currency, it already started and many countries are starting to get interest on making their own digital currency. This will increase the popularity of cryptocurrencies and with Bitcoin as the top currency, its usage will also grow further.
I think that within 10 years bitcoin will be number 1, IOTA number 2, but there is still a lot of work to achieve massive adoption

Bitcoin is largest currency that not controlled by any government. I think bitcoin can be a largest currency if many government used as reserve, but i think its almost impossible because many government ban bitcoin
It is more like Bitcoin is the Worlds Largest Cryptocurrency and followed by so many Alternate Coins. We can say that Bitcoin's platform of payment is useful because it is being used around the world and some Alternate Coin makes Bitcoin as a basis for their values and it is making Bitcoin more popular.
Everything is right but until Bitcoin dont get legal status from whole world it is not use of getting any status. Their are so many country which are coming out and starting to regulate it which will give bitcoin a currency status. I think it will take more then 10 yrs to achieve that target.
if we try to combine with fiat currency, bitcoin has a sequence of 5, but bitcoin is the new currency at the moment, and the top ranking. I think the next few years, bitcoin will shift some fiat currency. and bitcoin will be the currency no 1 in the future, perhaps in the future crypto currency will be a tool of payment for the benefit of the world community.
